My 14 month old had hives. I called with in a half hour they called and had me take pictures and post them to my chart. They called and with in 1 hour we were in the office visiting Dr. Arrow. He is awesome. Thank you so much! This momma appreciates you.

WE LOVE DR. STARR! She is amazing and understanding of each and every concern we present to her. Passionate about her patients and their health. She is such a lifesaver when I need a professional opinion, info or just reassurance. Wouldn’t change her for the world. I’m sure the other doctors are just as great, but we like her too much to go to anyone else.All staff there have shown compassion and professionalism when we have called, emailed or were seen for check-ups.

Dr. Starr and LCSW Rosa Plascencia, are my child’s healthcare team. They are wonderful, engaging, polite, caring and extremely intelligent. They are clearly dedicated to the well being of children. I could not ask for a better health team for my child!

I try to stick with Dr. Afzali because of the exceptional and personal care she gives my little one but any time we need to schedule on short notice with anyone else it has always been a very positive experience. I continue to come to this clinic even though we moved to Salem.

I went here as a child, and was seen by Dr. Paul. As a child (teenager) I just remember being cared for, and like I was important. Because of my own experience I decided to have my son be seen here as well, and that’s hands down the best decision ever! I was so paranoid as a first time mom three years ago, I was constantly calling and asking for advice. Each call was accepted and treated like it was important, I was always left feeling supported and never felt “crazy” (even though I probably was). My son sees Dr. Starr primarily, and I LOVE her! I was actually sad when my son was old enough to not need as often of well-child visits, because we were going to see Dr. Starr less.She cares for my child and she’s passionate and educated about her job. I trust her wholeheartedlyWe have seen Dr. Arrow, who is also great. My son has also had a recent visit with Dr. Kuper, and he was AMAZING. Extremely supportive to me as a parent, and great with my son. I think we have seen pretty much everyone at this clinic, and love all of these doctors. The nurses are equally as amazing too!

Mid Valley Childrens Clinic is absolutely exceptional! Theres a variety of doctors and every one of them is wonderful! Theyll go above and beyond their title and are truly there to help your child. I have 3 and have been going there for 6 years and I dont have a single complaint about that office, the doctors, or the staff. My youngest has a seizure disorder and they have gone above and beyond their job requirements and have gone so far to help us out and they are still continuing amazing care for him. Your child is in the best hands possible and they are being cared for at Mid Valley Childrens Clinic.

I love this clinic!! My kids have seen just about every doctor there and I never have had a complaint about this place!! I called last week to get both my kids in for shot appointments and they we able to get them in the very next week!!! The staff are very friendly and kind. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good quality medical care for their babes!

After reading the negative reviews- I am so confused! Mid-Valley staff and Doctors have always been exceptional. They do their best to squeeze us in if possible. If they are unable, they are very apologetic. They are truly competent, kind and thorough. For 4 years, my children have seen approx. 6 of their doctors- each being as wonderful as the last. The staff here actually cares, which is getting difficult to find these days. I love the way they involve us as parents in decision making, and never make us feel guilty for refusing certain options. As for the paperwork that they ask parents and teens to fill out- it is a standard form provided to teens throughout the entire US, and it is simply to determine risk for things such as STDs, abuse, drug and alcohol use and bullying. I personally appreciate the doctors asking my children these things because if my teens were engaging, and I was unaware- I would want them to have someone they trust to speak to. They are looking out for their overall health, and that is really what we need in our kids providers.

Our experience with our son’s Pediatrician, Dr. Afzali, has been exceptional. She has always taken the time to listen to our questions or concerns and truly cares about the health and development of our son. She explains things clearly and she has went above and beyond several times to get us additional information to help ease our minds. We’re thankful our son has such an amazing doctor caring for him.

We have taken our three children here for the past 6 almost 7 years. Dr.Blair is my favorite but we have had great experiences with other Doctors at Midvalley Children’s Clinic. Dr. Blair has be very thorough, patient, kind, and x-ray, lab results are always prompt. X-Ray this afternoon and just received a call at 8pm with results and to check on my child. From the nurse. Yes scheduling can be difficult for well child appointments and often it’s a month wait. But for other appointments we are usually able to get in within 24hrs. If you call in the morning and check to see if there has been cancellations you can usually get in faster.

Dr Paul is very nice and professional. Front desk has not been very friendly and you’re always on hold for at least 5 minutes if you need to call their office.

Loved the doctors here, However so disappointed in how the staff treats parents and their unwillingness to be flexible with scheduling

Theyve always taken great care of my kids. Dr Paul is particularly excellent, went above and beyond. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommended. Nancy Jo helped on a wkend.

Doctors & nursing staff are nice & attentive. However we can never get our children seen, appointments are weeks to a month out. Weve had to use urgent care like a primary clinic this last year. As a parent I refuse to let my childs health issues wait. We are transferring their care.

Weve been taking our children to Dr Edward Frothingham since they were born. Never have had any regrets! Highly recommend this office!

I really appreciate the doctors that my son has seen but trying to get an appointment less than a month away is impossible and I had to reschedule my sons shots twice because he got a cold and then finally when I got him in I got stuck behind a train with no way around. I called and begged and pleaded for them to hold my appointment because Im not from around here and did not realize you could get stuck behind trains for so long. I showed up 10 minutes late and they told me I needed to reschedule even though I was basically in tears about it. They are not understanding at all towards mothers with small children and that is not a place I would want looking after my small child.

Cant even get an appointment for my child who needs to be seen. Cant schedule an appointment a month or 2 in advance and cant schedule an appointment on the same day. Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Finding a different pediatric doctor asap

Great place nice people but way too busy appointments 30 days or longer somebody PLEASE open up a similar childrens clinic to help out

When children become 12 or 13 and us parents take them in for their sports physical or yearly exam they have this absurd packet to fill out. Wanting to know very inappropriate things. Such as, is the child attracted to same sex, opposite sex or both etc. Wanting to know if theres guns in house etc. Wanting to know if the child had had sex, oral sex or anal sex etc. Me as a parent find that appalling and refused to let my kids anywhere near the survey. Some of wjat they were asking went too far. They even kick the parents or of the room so they can talk to your 12 or 13 yr old by themselves, seems a bit twisyed and sketchy to me. They need to change this asap. Also parents these are our children if you dont like this voice it, I scratched out questions that were not to be answered. Dont let them do this take a stand and walk out if you have to. Let them know this is not ok. Its terrible Looking for a new pediatrician asap.

If you love waiting all day for a call back, being treated rudely by nurses and dirty waiting rooms then youll love it here.
