I work for a doctors office who refers patients to this location quite frequently, so I decided to give them a try for my personal MRI. The service was excellent! From check-in until the time I left. I had an unexpected reaction when starting the MRI, not realizing I would be sensitive to it just like motion sickness and had to be pulled out. Gus and his assistant were so extremely kind and patient with me and helped me get through it and I got the answers I needed. Thanks guys!!

They have the worst billing department. They said the refund will be deposited automatically. Its not. Called them after 6 months, they processed the refund & told me to wait for 3-4 weeks. Waited for 1 more month, nothing happened. Had to call them again, they dont know what happened. Now its 8 months & I still havent get the refund.Updated: I finally get the refund 1 week after sharing my experience here and sending another support email.They have very good facilities anyway.

Jennifer was my check-in person. Super laid back and very easy to talk to. Tonya, did my MRI. She made me feel so comfortable. The place was clean. And they made everything extremely easy for me. I was so scared because Im so claustrophobic, but Tonya did such a great job of making me feel comfortable. Loved this place!

After I was scheduled here for imaging to troubleshoot a recent foot surgery, I read the reviews and was a little worried. Thankfully I had an excellent experience. The place was clean, the people were nice, the process was painless, not a lot of paperwork even though Id never been there before and the tech was a great guy. He explained everything thoroughly answered all my questions very carefully and was extremely helpful. I arrived 15min before my appointment time and was in my scan 2min before my appointment time. I elected to wait for the disk and it took about 10min and I was out the door. Less than an hour passed from entering the parking lot to exiting the parking lot.

Billing department is incompetent. They have made repeated errors since January. I have sent 4 emails, 1 fax, 1 hard copy mail via usps, even my insurance company called them and told them how to code and submit my claim and it would be paid. Billing never re-submitted the claim Billing errors since January 2021. Now I receive a threatening letter, they will send me to collections. It is OK, I have DOCUMENTED EVERYTHING! All emails, fax verification report, insurance co. phone call with Akumin, all attempts to fix have been documented. If you are reading this do you want this to happen to you?

Receptionist was great and the person doing the MRI was also very pleasant. I like the fact that they are open enough hours in the day that they can work you in at a time that is convenient with your schedule.

I read lots of bad reviews but I personally had a great experience. Both the receptionist and tech were very friendly and the tech did a great job of making me feel comfortable during my MRI. I have Tricare insurance and paid a $34 copay at check-in.

The mri process was great- however billing is a mess. I overpaid and have now been waiting for over 6 months to get my money back. The first time I called they said 6-8 weeks. The second tome i called there were no notes that I had even called previously. Both times the wait time to get someone on a phone was over an hour and 15 minutes. Going on round three. Unless you have this kind of time to get your money back would not recommend!

Insurance filing collected and cash from us in July and now want us to pay out ourselves again. Say we havent paid our deductible. Every other office visits for this chemo has said we have met it I have $180,000 in hospital bills that says we have met it but no not this place. Will ask my Dr to go somewhere else next time they are billing ins and us and reaping the money. Do not recommend at all

I had a car wreck and was rear ended by inattentive driver last year. My doctor sent me to this place to have two MRIs completed on 10/26/20. The check-in was a nightmare. I had to complete paperwork and go back to my car. It was so cold this day, thankfully I had a coat on otherwise, I would have frozen to death from having to wait in my car. The receptionist were not friendly at all. I had to tell them multiple times that my nurse set up the appointment. Even afterwards, it took forever for them to confirm the doctors order.I am frustrated because I presented my insurance card for Blue Cross Blue Shield and provided them the claim information for the car wreck , but Im still being charged for the MRIs. The PIP was exhausted, I informed the receptionist that I had a copy of the exhaust letter. I have called several times to reconcile my account however, their phone system will tell you that it will call you back. Thats a lie, it does not call you back! I have waited for days to be called back.The only thing that was good about my experience was the technician. She was very pleasant, helpful, and she did a wonderful job.

I was a little hesitant after reading some reviews, but I had a great experience. I paid up front. It didnt take more then an hour including MRI. Everyone was kind and curtious. Not to busy. The MRI machine was a little bit smaller then I have had before. So a little more claustrophobic if you have problems in that area. I will definitely go back if I need another.

Patients need to call their insurance before using this facility. Premier MRI does not call your insurance and verify your benefits to get accurate information. They use the website because they get a kickback “$$” from the insurance companies. I called my insurance twice with one of the calls being in their waiting room because the MRI was covered at 100% with no cost to me. I had the insurance company tell them I didn’t owe anything because they failed to do their job. Premier MRI tried getting $250 out of me plus tried getting me to sign a form agreeing to pay that. Verifying benefits online and in person on the phone with a live agent will get you two different results in benefits as what happened to me. I worked in insurance at one time and to get accurate information call and save yourself some time and money. Guaranteed that there are lots of past patients that are owed a refund and have no idea but this facility is worried about making a buck instead of doing their job. People do your work with major healthcare items since they can’t and save yourself the headache.

Took and scanned our insurance information for my wifes MRI, then charged me 4x up-front what her previous MRI co-pays were at other facilities. Then they didnt even FILE with our insurance, so we basically had to pay for the MRI out-of-pocket. And with no EOB from my insurance, I cant get reimbursement from my flex spending account. Thanks for LITERALLY nothing. Never again.

I was met with a friendly staff. The young man, Qwen was very kind & professional. He made me totally at ease & I did not feel the IV even. He was not in a hurry but did the CT scan at an efficient, timely manner. The price was affordable. I highly recommend this establishment.

I’ve been waiting for my insurance since October and now that I have it they are telling that my co pay is almost $600 but when I didn’t have it it was only $500 total! Now when we talked on the phone yesterday she told me they would let me know how much it was gonna be for my co pay but never did and I drove an hr for an mri on my knee! Make sure that they tell you how much it’s gonna be up front before you drive an extended amount of time just to not have anything done.Update: I received a call from the manager himself and clarify and make things right. I truly appreciate you taking the time today to call me and explain everything that was going on to me.Thank you!

I really have no idea where all the bad reviews came from, but I had a wonderful experience. They were quick with booking me, I didn’t have to wait very long, and the person running the mri was extremely patient with all my questions about the scan and possible effects on my baby. She made sure I was comfortable and it didn’t seem to take very long at all. I waited maybe a minute for the disk with my scans. The only negative thing that happened was some random kids waiting on their guardian in the lobby had a meltdown and were very loud. But y’all can’t Control that.

I came here for an MRI and everything about the scan was fine. The Receptionist was very nice and so was the technician. Billing However is a disaster. I set up a payment plan with them and over 7 months an amount would be taken out. My payments were not being posted for some reason. I received a statement a few months later and called about my payments and the girl said she had got the issue fixed. Payments still were being taken out but I had not gotten any recent statements. It is nice to have proof of payment of some sort and I have never NOT gotten statements from any medical place. I called the main Office and she stated they dont ever send statements out if you are on a payment plan. I told her I had a statement from them so I am bit confused. She also stated she showed no balance but did see a copy of my payment plan and needed to call the Wichita Location to see what they were doing or what was going on. It is confusing and a big mess.

My mother came in for an MRI back in October and the radiologist read it within a timely manner, however, per her neurosurgeons request, the radiologist needs to amend her MRI, but it has taken him three months, it has been three months now, and he has still not amended it! She cannot receive any surgeries that could potentially help her until he/she gets this done because insurance wont approve surgery without amendment. There does not seem to be any accountability for the doctors. Perhaps we could get further with the help of a lawyer because at this point, I dont know what else to do.

MRI ok. Billing is a nightmare... user beware, they want the full amount up front minus what insurance pays. and then you will start receiving bills for other extra items. Do your homework..update: 8/7/2019 - I received a call from Chad. Very polite and explained some of the challenges with billing. They looked into my billing and Im actually receiving a refund.

Im not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from. My husband and I had a great experience. My doctor referred us and within a couple hours of leaving his office, we got a call from this place. They set up an appointment for 9:15pm which I will admit I thought I was strange but its nice to have places like this open late for people that work late. He then called back again to give us our cost which I thought was very reasonable (granted we have good insurance) and we set up a payment plan over the phone.Get to the appointment, there are lights in the parking lot and on the building. The waiting room and bathroom were clean with no stains. The receptionist was already aware of our payment plan and had the paperwork ready. The waiting room and changing rooms in the back were also clean. The tech was friendly, we got our disc with images and were on our way. Whole process took an hour and 15 minutes and that was for 2 of us to get an MRI.Like I said, I dont understand these bad reviews and if your doctor refers you, give it a chance.

I guess some people just arent happy unless they are complaining. Just had a lumbar spine MRI here and it was a great experience. They have completely remodeled the interior, purchased new machines, and the staff was fantastic and very caring. The entire process took about 40 minutes, from filling out paperwork to walking out with a cd of my exam in hand. I would definitely recommend to anyone!!

Went to have MRIBusiness in homeless area, no lights in parking areaThey never sent a bill, just turned me over to a collection agency.Why ruin my credit with our sending a notice I owed moneyI also asked what part the Coventry would pay and what I would owe. The girl told me that insurance would pay this MRI of my foot.Also appointment was at 11pm at night.I have night blindness and they would not reschedule me.I am still upset that I got turned over to a collection agency with our the respect of even getting 1 bill.Never will go back. Also I had to wait about an hour, till after midnight , as they said a patient before me had problems.Wonder if that is the truth.Nothing was ever mentioned about setting up payments as I was told insurance approved and would pay entire amount.

Wow...some pretty entitled people writing reviews here. I can say that Tanya did a great job with the MRIs from start to finish. In addition I had issues with getting precertification of the MRIs. Premier went above and beyond in providing any info and helping overcome the behind the scenes manipulating that Aetna does to prevent paying for Advanced Diagnostic Scans. 10/10 would do this again.

The staff were really nice. They had me put my things in a locker while I had the MRI done. They gave me ear plugs for the atrocious noise. They also pointed me in the wrong direction of the bus terminal when I left. Renea is really patient and kind. Renea is the reason why this business gets an upgrade to a 4 star! The guy who actually does the CT scan was wonderful, polite, very reassuring and calm. However, be warned, whatever price they quote you upfront, when you have to pay out-of-pocket, you pay it and then they bill you for more later. Little bit shady if you ask me.

The office staff are iept. Each time I have been there, they do not have pre-approval as required by my insurance. Now I call a day or two before, to remind them and still they do not have it. They always tell me the blood work can be done at the same time, but my doctor told me that is not the protocol. After another disastrous visit, I left and arranged with my insurance to go elsewhere.

It was AWFUL! They ran over 45 minutes late. They didnt even have the courtesy to let us know why and how late they were running. They had no idea why, until I asked. The technician was nice & apologized, but the wait was ridiculous! The receptionist didnt even apologize for the long wait. The lobby was not clean, the couch and area rug have stains. They have duct tape on some of the office equipment. To make matters worse, you can hear EVERYTHING they say even when the glass window is closed. They talk about the patients information so loud that you can hear specific names..Today, one of the receptionists called a patient to tell her her credit card was declined.. I heard the full name of the patient. Very unprofessional. Will not go back again!!!

They want all the bill not covered by the insurance up front, on the first visit. Which for my insurance was just short of a thousand dollars. I have bcbs. There was no option to bill me 10% and then bill the rest later after the insurance company paid their part. Just, oh, now that youre already here, how about forking over a house payment right this minute? I would suggest that they should give patients a heads up before the patients get there. Other than that, the staff was friendly, and the facility was clean.

This place does not know anything and are incompetent. I did a second MRI in last 4 months and told I was not in system when I received bill same day(did not collect coinsurance on first visit); had my name wrong from Dr referral and in general very rude. They filed my first claim twice incorrectly even with my calling to ask about the problem. I was told it was Blue Shields mistake not theirs. Person in Wichita office also told this to the Blue Shield person I talked to. On the second visit they said only Dallas ever handles claims or talks to people about claims. I also waited minimum 1.5 hours each time. They were also nasty both time when I called asking for a written report once for Primary Care and second for neurologist that paperwork asked for both written report and disc... they said but we gave you a disc. First time for PCP told they send that day, but they never did.

Told me that I would have to pay a certain amount up front, which I paid. They said that that was all I would have to pay. I asked them if I would get a bill in the mail for the rest later. They said no. I asked if they were sure THREE TIMES. They assured me that based on my insurance, everything else was covered. They even told me that if I got a bill in the mail they would wave it because I was told a certain amount. I would not be getting a bill in the mail. I went ahead with the MRI. The procedure itself was fine. However, sure enough, I got a bill in the mail months later asking me to pay hundreds more. I gave them a call. Each time they told me that they were going to try and figure out a solution and give me a call back. I wait a week... nothing. I call back. Again, I am going to e-mail someone and get back to you. I wait a week... nothing. This has been going on for a month. Yesterday I called and they said they would get back to me by the end of the day and, you guessed it. Nothing. So I called back today. Apparently there is nothing they can do except give me a slight discount. Imagine going to a restaurant where they tell you the plate will be $10, guaranteed, but then after you are done eating they decide to charge you $100 instead. So you try and have someone help you clear this up but you just get passed around from person to person for a month. When someone finally has an answer, they tell you, ooops sorry. We cant do anything about it, well give you a discount, the dish will only be $90. Well you already ate the food, so its not like you can return it. Now you are stuck. Would you still have eaten the food if you knew what the actual price was? Because let me tell you, I would have waited on my MRI if I knew. They arent cheap, we all know that. But how is it ok to tell people who go to you, who trust you, that you will have to pay a certain amount of money, nothing more, and then stick them with hundreds more later on? Hope this helps someone out there. Looking at the comments it sounds like Im not the only one.

I dont recommend this place. Got a CT scan done here. It has been 5 business days now and they are still telling me that the report has not been signed off yet by a radiologist. Signed off means it has not been Finalized. I am a tech in the healthcare field and deal with reports all the time. I have worked in outpatient clinics exactly like this one and have NEVER saw a turn-around time for a report take longer than 48hrs. total bs.

Due to my busy schedule I was able to have my MRI done one Saturday afternoon. They provided a Taxi to come pick me up and take me home at No charge to me. (I had no way to get to my appt so this service was unexpected and yet very much appreciated)The receptionist was very kind and helpful as was the staff who took very good care of me during the MRI. Im very closterfobic so they gave me a washcloth to put over my eyes.(Wish the ear plugs worked better😔 headfones with music would be much better When having to lay still for so long)Toward the end, due to medication I had to take prior to the MRI I woke up to the loud clanging. I was disoriented and scared and the staff was so kind to me. They calmed me Down and finished the MRI.Im very thankful for their kindness and understanding.I will gladly return to them any time I need testing done.Thank you to the staff of PREMIER IMAGINGRESPECTIVELY and Sincerely,Shannon W.

This place is a joke. When I set my sons appt I told them I needed to be out of there no later than 6pm. They guaranteed I would be & gave me a 5:30 appt. They told me I had to be present for my sons appt but yet had my son, who is a MINOR sign the paperwork. Then I told them he is a minor & cannot legally sign the paperwork if a parent had to be there, that the parent needed to sign it. They argued with me & said no I didnt need to sign it. They then told me I didnt need to he there so I left to go run a quick errand, leaving my 16 yr old son with them for a bit & said I would be right back. My son could have drove himself! Then Hannah calls me to ask where my son was. They lost my son AFTER they told him they had to reschedule & I already picked him up. These people really need to figure out what theyre doing & not schedule people at the wrong time! You dont schedule someone for a 5:30 appt then tell them its not till 6 but everyone needs to be there 30 mins early. The front desk people are very rude & dont know what theyre doing. If I get a bill I will not pay for it since a minor signed the paperwork. Make up your minds people. Also, some type of management NEEDS to be there if they are open due to issues like this & the front office playing around. No professionalism here.

Horrible. He couldnt get the dye in the joint. Poked and dug with the needle. I finally said Im done and left. Injection site was bleeding a little bit. They didnt even offer a bandaid. I went to a store on the way home and bought a bandaid.

Anyone sent here after an auto accident please inform your attorney about any liens (blank checks) because these people will rob you. They tried to charge me $4,740 for an MRI and then thought they were doing me a favor by reducing it to $2,700!!! My ASS!!! Theres no place on the planet that charges that much for an MRI, with or without insurance!!! Plus theyre service sucks!

Been here twice they messed up the orders from the Dr the first time. Running 34 minutes behind at this point and probably will be an hour by the time were done. The front area is dirty and furniture is dirty, not the imaging place my family will be returnng to in the future.

Went to MRI February . Front desk lady told me insurance dont cover our plan so we have pay in full by our self which is $700 so I agree to paid . After 1 months they send other bill said we still owl they $6200 and want us to contact our insurance or I am going to pay for it . They charge make nonsense .that my first time to write a bad review

Very dissatisfied with the whole experience, including the, Receptionist, Nurses, Technicians, their more concerned with getting their money and Co-pays than they are about patients, its no wonder health Care has went to hell in this country, with places like this in business
