Going to the dentist is typically one of the least favorite things for a person to have to deal with, but it sure helps when the professionals are so friendly and thoughtful. Dr. Mar Has been my dentist for over 30 years. Great family practice with a great staff. I am one of those high anxiety patients and they always make the experience very relaxing.. This team is amazing! I hadnt been to a dentist in 5 years and was terrified to go. Dr. Mar was SO kind and nonjudgmental. He explained all my treatment options and was very down-to-earth. The hygienists were all friendly and gentle with cleanings.I recently had fillings done here. They numbed my gum with gel before the actual numbing shots so I didnt even feel it! And they provided headphones so I could listen to music and not hear the drill. The most thorough and caring experience Ive had by far. I would recommend this team and Dr. Mar for any of my friends, especially if youre scared of going. Wonderful!

The staff are very friendly, informative, and accommodating. Since I am deaf, they offered to type back and forth through Notepad to make sure I understood everything. They also made sure I knew what all was going to happen before they did anything so I didn’t have any surprises and asked me to let them know if I was in pain or uncomfortable at any time and they would readjust what they were doing or figure out how to lessen/eliminate the pain.I am always very comfortable with my visits. 👍

I’ll be honest I’ve always hated going to the dentist- not because of anxiety but just because I’ve never had a personable dentist. I had my first patient visit yesterday with Dr. Mar and it was outstanding! I was greeted by him with a big smile and a handshake. He is very nice and thorough with patients. When going over potential symptoms or problem areas in my mouth, he explained why and went over photos of my mouth to show what was going on so I could see it for myself. I didn’t feel like I was being gouged for money or scammed like I have with past dentists. Helen is a sweetheart and made personal recommendations on things I could do or improve at home for my oral health. All of the staff were very personable and kind and made me feel at home. I’m honestly excited to go back and I’ve NEVER said that about any dentist. 11/10 recommend this dental office!

I’ve been seeing Dr Mar for my dental needs for 31 years and have always been greeted with a smile, never had to wait on my appointment, and always excellent care and explanation of services and options for my oral care. I am the typical person who is deathly afraid of a dentist. I am in my 50s and you would think I was a two-year-old child when I visit the dentist. Dr Lennon does everything in her power to help ease my nerves. She is the sweetest and most gentle dentist Ive ever known. Her assistant, Caroline, is gentle and caring as well. I recently had a root canal and Dr Lennon followed up with the crown. I was able to go straight back to work following the crown. They are amazing. All of the dentists in this dentistry are professional, caring and the best in Wichita. They also have a friendly and welcoming reception area and Paula always has time for a short visit and she always makes the customer feel important. If you are looking for a great dentist, check them out. I hate going to the dentist but they have made my experiences of going to the dentist actually enjoyable.

Great experience. As a first time patient, I found my visit to be over and above what my expectations were. I thought the staff was well prepared and knowledgeable. And their use of top of the line technology makes you feel safe and secure... The attention that I received from one of the principals of the firm, was what was most impressive, however. Dr. Lennon took time to explain the whole process to me as well as do an in-depth analysis of my mouth, herself. I really felt like they appreciated me being a patient.

When you find a great dentist, you dont need to look any further. We have been going there for 14 years. Honest checkups, not working to just make money. Willing to spend time to explain recommendations and give advice if you are unsure about what to decide. All staff are great. Dentists are husband and wife team and I believe that their son is now also qualified as a dentist. They recently got a therapy dog to help anxious patients. Very caring team, modern facility. Even though it is far east, it is worth the drive!!

It was 7 AM and I had a huge tooth pain. I called my dentist, but he was 100% booked. So his assistance scrambled to find a dentist in town. She called me later and asked me to see Dr Mar at 11AM. When I got to Dr Mars office the front desk informed no one has scheduled my appointment with Dr Mar. the pain was excruciating and I told them I was going to an emergency room. However, Dr Mars staff did get me in and he saw me just 20 min later. He and his assistant performed a thorough examination of my problem and explained in detail what it needed to be done.Thank you for managing to see me.DF

Dentistry at its finest. The Mar & Lennon family make the experience relaxing from beginning to end. They took the time to answer all of my questions, no matter how silly. Dr. Mar is very thorough and an overall genuine person. I came to him for a second opinion since he was my dentist during childhood. I always thought of an out-of-network provider as costly, but its the opposite!! Dr. Mar saved me from a false cavity the previous dentist wanted to fill AND saved me about $400 for my crown!The PREVIOUS DENTIST I saw gave me a crown, and during the procedure he used this new machine to keep my mouth open. It even included suction to remove excess saliva. It was the most horrible experience... I couldnt breathe because the machine was pushing up and closing on my nasal cavity! At one point, I choked on my saliva trying to get air and threw up. They had to stop the procedure and take the machine out while I composed myself. Then back in it went.DR. MAR made getting a crown a COMPLETELY different experience. He didnt use any fancy machine to overcrowded my mouth. He showed me my x-rays, explained the different options of crowns, what to expect in future care. During the procedure, he explained what he was doing and kept checking on me for pain tolerance (which was next to none). Afterwards, this is the best part, my mouth wasnt numb for the rest of the day!!My oldest son (12) sees DR. BRENDEN MAR and thinks the world of him! He came up to me after his first appointment with a big smile on his face. I believe his exact words were coolest dentist ever! Now hes not disappointed when going to the dentist!!

Can t get any lower than this, very rude staff starting with receptionists who as others have mentioned have quite a mouthful and ending at dentist who is very arrogant. First time i went there besides the personal questions staff tried to act polite, when my wife and daughter went there they were extremely rude towards them, seem to favour men over women. The mask fell off very quickly. The only one i can praise is the dog. Do yourself a favour, cross the street and go to wichita family dental, not perfect but way more professional.
