This MD listens actively. I am a nurse so I have a different perspective. He is respectful and courteous. I didn’t feel rushed or mistreated.. This area is new to me and I needed a friendly face. Even the staff I must say was professional. Quick and barely waited. Have a good day people. God bless.

This review is very late, but is definitely important to acknowledge the level of professionalism that is here. I went in to the walk in knowing I had ulcers and hadn’t eaten in several weeks and was extremely dehydrated. After explaining this to the doctor, she offers antibiotics. Yes, antibiotics for an infection. Now I am not a doctor but I am pretty sure this was the most uneducated suggestion a doctor can say to someone who explained their situation and in no way needs an antibiotic. An antibiotic would’ve made my stomach feel even worse, it was extremely frustrating to know more then a “doctor”. So after the Google Search Graduate offers antibiotics and continued to do so, I left with no help from a person in a coat and over $300 bill. I immediately went to the hospital where a very young doctor who looked fresh out of school takes care of me. Checks my blood to see how dehydrated I was, and realized I wasn’t doing good at all. Gives me a prescription that coats my stomach and helped me eat for the first time in several weeks. I got real help from a real doctor who learned and retained knowledge from a school. I don’t even know what you would call the lady at this walk in.

I called here because my friend called me confused. I live in another town. I wasnt sure why he was confused and talked him into going to seek medical attention right away by his house. He lives alone. Due to Covid he refused to go to the er and agreed to go to the local urgent care. I called this prompt care place to tell them what was going on. The girl who answered the phone, right away said that they couldnt do anything for him. I tried to explain to her that he wont go anywhere else. She said that theyll just send him to the emergency room by ambulance. I said thats fine, but he just really needs SOMETHING right now. I was hoping he would accept an ambulance if a doctor said he needed it. I tried to give her his name but she wouldnt take it. It sounded like she was bothered with me even calling. My friend got there, finally. He was refused care because he didnt have his insurance card. HE COULDNT FIND IT BECAUSE HE WAS CONFUSED. He left and went home. He was found unconscious. Great job prompt care. Obviously money is more important than someones life.

I went in today to get tested for Covid-19. Since I tested last week and I got a negative result they wouldn’t test me again. I called my insurance to see if they would cover another test. My insurance said they would. My mistake was leaving and not calling my insurance when I was there. I called sequoia prompt care after I was home and talked to my insurance, I was told they wouldn’t test me since I was considered positive since I had someone in household that was positive. I explained that when I tested last week I had no symptoms but I took it because I had been exposed to someone with covid that was positive. I told them that I would register again to test since my insurance would cover it. I was told that they wouldn’t test me there even even if I made an appointment since I was considered positive. I asked how come other people tested more than once. She said I needed to stop going around and infecting people. I need to quarantine and stop going out. Told her that was the reason I wanted to be tested. I had a lot of symptoms. I asked if I could then walk in as a patient. I was told no since I was considered positive since I had some one in house hold positive. I told her I didn’t want to lie and go somewhere else knowing I could be positive. I was instructed to call my primary doctor instead. I did and thank god they referred me to a site to get tested. Sadly I am positive of covid. Difference is it’s confirmed not assumed I am positive. Otherwise I would have infected others

First concern: no masks or waiting room separation. My daughter was coughing and sneezing along with 3 others waiting. If she didnt already have the flue, she probably does now! Id be pretty concerned if I were there for something else. Second issue: long wait time with no warning. We waited for 90 minutes while everyone before us and about 5 people after us were called back. I was told we were the next walk in patients so we waited longer. After 100 minutes we were called back, but only to have vitals checked and be sent back out to waiting room. When I expressed my need to leave in 45 minutes to get my other children I was informed that would be about how long until we actually would see a doctor. We had no choice but to leave after 115 minutes waiting without seeing a doctor. I have been to Premiere Walk In on the SW side of town 10 times for various reasons and never waited longer that 1 hour. I will drive across town to save time and prevent my daughter from spreading her germs or contracting someone elses. The least they could do is tell a person that the walk in wait is 2 hours before a sick kid has to sit there for that long and leave without being seen.

First time being a patient there and was a great experience. Called before i went and was told in a friendly voice and welcoming to walk in anytime. When arriving friendly welcome and waited less then 10mins to be called back for my son. Dr on site was very friendly and professional with answers to all my questions. In and out of office with no problems. Great service all the way around!

I chose this walk in because my sister in law had such a great experience. Me too! Friendly, professional, caring staff. Meticulously clean facility. By the time I had checked in, the waiting room filled up. I waited less than 10 minutes, and when I left the waiting room was empty and all the people I had seen waiting were in their cars driving away or coming out the door after me. Highly recommend this place!

I was seen quickly. I was diagnosed correctly. I went on Saturday in terrible pain with an ear infection that has kept me up for two days. He gave me antibiotics and nasal spray. I asked him to address the pain and he said ibuprofen would relieve it with nasal spray. I spent last 48 hours in pain. Missed Easter. Am exhausted from not being able to sleep due to discomfort. Doctors can prescribe small amounts of pain medications when they see raging infections. No compassion.

Waited over 2 hrs. I understand that its flu season so waiting that long sucked but understandable. So I went in to get checked after being in a car accident. Walked away with an abrasion on my head and a cut on my knee. The Dr Ashley stated she would give me muscle relaxers for the soreness. Few days later someone called to see how I was doing which I thought was really nice. Then this is when it went south.. I went to the pharmacy to get my prescription they told me they didnt have anything for me. They asked if I dropped off a prescription and I told them no. I didnt think it was strange since my primary dr sends my medicine automatically. So I called sequoia prompt care and explained what was going on. The lady I spoke with looked up my info and told me sorry but you werent prescribed any medication during your visit. That set me off. It was like she was accusing me of making up this prescription. By the way my wife was with me the whole time. So she was a witness to the Dr prescribing me the medication. I then asked okay well what can we do? She said well the only way you could get that medicine is if you come for a visit or see your primary. Which would require I pay another co-pay and wait for a mistake of the Dr! Its just ridiculous

Used quick pass to reserve my spot. They got me in within 15 minutes. Went in for rib pain and was diagnosed with a partially collapsed lung after x-rays. Was given antibiotics and sent me on my way. Days passed and pain intensified and fevers started peaking at 102. They practically only took x-rays which took a total of two, even though they do it in office. Two days later i got a second opinion and found I was misdiagnosed and my lung had been filling with fluid. I wouldnt recommend this place for anything besides a common cold. Only reason I gave a two was because the front office was very pleasant.

The provider did not chart her notes so my daughter was held from playing a tournament. Anyone in the medical field knows if it wasnt charted it wasnt done. The nurse who brought my daughter her elbow brace was learning how to put it on in the hallway outside our door. She then brought it in and told us over and over she had no clue how to put it on. We normally have amazing service but last night and then this morning was a complete joke!!!!

Everyone here is great! I have only had one bad experience at this Sequoia Prompt Care. I had a head injury a few years ago and occasionally get very severe, very sudden migraines. It hadnt been happening very long, so I didnt know what treatments worked or were available. A young, arrogant nurse named Ben spoke with me and no more than a minute after he left the room I overheard him yelling and complaining about having to treat another drug addict. I was in so much pain and so genuinely shocked that I left and spent the rest of my night in the ER. I havent seen him since, so fingers crossed that hes been fired! All in all, everyone else is amazing!

This place is a joke , the wait times arent correct, you could be on the list with a wait time for 10-22min and itll be two hours before youre seen. I understand people get busy and people are coming in sick, but when you have a full staff of NPs and PAs you have no room to make excuses. Some of the staff can be rude , I was here one other time and watched a lady get rude , because she didnt want to use the computer, the staff member became agitated and rolled her eyes. Note to self , not a lot of people like using computers for paperwork. Fix the wait times and quit horsing around.
