Booked my appointment back in June was told that my appointment this month the doctor would not be in so I would have to reschedule and they tried making me wait another three months and go in December, I was annoyed by the huge delay yes but I was more annoyed by the rude lady who sounded like she hated her job when she first answered the phone to see what to help me with. Now looking for a new place to go, not trying to deal with people who clearly don’t enjoy what they do because we all know we deal with the receptionists more than the doctor at these places so unfortunately when they have bad receptionists and good doctors it ruins the whole place.

All of the staff are amazing!! I am very pleased with my recent services at Visalia Eye Center. I wont get my glasses anywhere else, the optical staff are all THE BEST!!!

If you like being charged for services you never get! This is the place to go! These people are SO quick to try and send you to collections even when THEY were the ones who canceled my appointment due to covid. During covid, before they even opened back up, I was getting letters threatening to send me to collections on a service that was never started, or completed. Anytime I speak to them they just argue with me. VERY bad ethics! BEWARE!!

I was asking questions and before I was done talking, the receptionist said ok, thank you, bye bye. Lol I dont think she enjoys questions.

I love Dr. Oblad. He is patient, kind and knowledgeable. And Tamra in the eyeglass dept is The Best!

It is true that there is a long wait to get an appointment, however, there is a reason for that! They are really great! I had an appointment rescheduled from the spring due to Covid, then they needed to reschedule that appointment. When they called, I told them I needed an appointment as soon as possible since it had been 6 months since the last reschedule and they were able to get me in with a different doctor the same day. On top of that, every single staff member was kind, smiling, and helpful. So, while the wait and reschedules are frustrating....totally worth it for the service! Thank you, Visalia Eye Center!

TRACEY WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH AND MADE SURE THAT HUSBAND WAS HAPPY WITH THE FRAMES. AND EXPLAIN EVERYTHING.

Although the wait was a bit long, but it was worth it. The Dr knows his stuff and is very caring. My daughter loved her glasses!

10/10 would recommend Visalia Eye Center. The staff is always professional and friendly and the doctors really seem to care about their patients. Definitely would recommend!

Im a returning patient only because I had to go to another facility with my old insurance and I also I needed an appt asap but I came back today and Im so happy I did. Everyone here gives you the support and Respect a patient deserves.Dr.Baumann is the best! I love how he took his time with me and taught me some eye care issues to help my vision. Went to Optical and they are always the best. I was able to pick out my own glasses and got them at affordable price. Im very happy here. Waiting for an appt may take forever to get but its because there that good! Thank you to all the staff for being awesome!!!

I scheduled an appointment in October 2019 for March, 2020. The doctor had to cancel and I could not get an appointment before July, 2020. I have been seen there once and had a good experience but their scheduling takes too long and is unreliable.

***UPDATE***For those that read my last review, Visalia Eye Center did end up taking care of my issue - it was all just a misunderstanding!The doctor himself, Dr. Baumann, was kind enough to call me personally to resolve any concerns that I had.Needless to say, I am happy now and impressed the doctor took the time to call me and help me understand the issue. Dr. Baumann does have the best interest of the patients in mind.Therefore, I recommend the Visalia Eye Center for your eye care.

Worst place to go to get your eyes checked. I called the insurance and they told me I was covered. The people who work there dont know how to do their own job.

I have been an eye patient at Visalia Eye Center for over 2 years now. In the two plus years, the customer service has been impeccable. Everyone at this facility has gone over and beyond.When you go through the door they greet you using your name, I have never had a long wait in the waiting room, when they call you back it is because they are ready for you and not so they can just put you in a room and clear out the waiting room.I last seen Dr. Feil for Lasik surgery. I am so happy with the outcome. I had been wearing glasses and or contact from the age of 13. For the first time ever I am driving, cleaning house, watching tv all without glasses or contacts.At no given time with any of the providers at Visalia Eye Center have I ever felt rushed but treated by the entire staff with outstanding professional courtesy.

Never have I been on hold so long, it’s like I’m calling a government agency.I mean who is the customer, perhaps they need to re-evaluate their customer service.Going somewhere else, like there is no other options.....

I had LASIK three months ago and my vision is now 20/15. I am so happy with my results, if I had known that I would be able to see this well I would have done LASIK a lot sooner! Dr. Feil was very professional and walked me through the whole procedure. I was very nervous to have something so close to my eyes and Dr. Feil and his staff made me very comfortable and relaxed. I absolutely would recommend LASIK and Visalia Eye Center! I would give 10 stars but I am only allowed five. Lol

Very unprofessional staff. They never call you back. Takes forever to get an appointment and in between appointments. Been having an eye problem for more than 3 months now and they still havent seen me since my MRI. I would not recommend these people to anyone.
