Ive been a patient of Dr. Walker for about 20yrs. He is the best. The staff at Highland Woods Health are also great They do a lot of the lab work inhouse so most results are available by the next day.

Wonderful staff, awesome doctors, great precautions in regards to Covid-19, as you’d expect from a medical practice.Dr. Kahney is a wonderful doctor. Listened to everything I had to say and worked with me on my precious medication as well as helping decide on a new one. Definitely one who has been around and respects the practice. Happy to have found him!Felt welcomed and glad to have them as my new primary care.

Quickly scheduled appointment on 7/22/21 for 7/23/21 for a potential hernia issue that wasnt urgent enough for an ER visit. Physician Asst checked me over and ordered an ultrasound given inconclusive findings. Ultrasound performed same day at same office. Excellent care, concern, suggestions and immediate follow-up by my primary doctor. Excellent COVID protective measures in place - masks required, sanitizer readily available throughout offices. Cant ask for better treatment!

They want you to get a covid test to verify its negative before they will see you if any of your symptoms happen to also be covid symptoms. Which is nearly any symptom in the book. I recommend going elsewhere.

I am so flabbergasted by the treatment we received from this practice and one doctor in particular. We were unable to get an appointment to see Dr Yut who we normally see, so we saw another doctor. I queried a billing charge and I, as the mom, questioned the diagnosis of the doctor who brushed my daughter off without actually listening. The result of this was an abrupt cancellation in the mail telling us we could no longer visit the practice! If I hadnt paid or caused a terrible scene I would understand but I did none of that.I am writing this review to warn anyone not to question the doctors or else you get thrown out. That is not free rights at all. Needless to say we will find someone else.

Terrible service, these doctors and nurses are scared of their shadows. If you are doctors you shouldn’t be scared of diseases or medical conditions and pandemics, isn’t this what you are supposed to do??? Avoid like you would avoid the Wuhan MarketIt has been impossible to book an an appointment for non covid related issues. Even after testing negative they refused to see me for other conditions. I’m sure there are plenty of other practices in the area with doctors and nurses not afraid to do what they are supposed to do.

After being with this practice for many years, I had to change doctors. I was needing a maintenance medication refilled . I have been on this medication for over 20 years with very little if any change in dosage. I have always been faithful to getting my blood drawn for the refill. During the pandemic I asked to delay me coming in since I was healthy for just 3 more months to avoid a possible exposure to Covid in the height of the pandemic. The doctor would not do that and suggested I find a new doctor if I did not agree with their procedures. So that is what I did. When office procedures outweigh patient care, I was no longer comfortable with them.

WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING STAY AWAY STAY WAY. This is the worst place to receive care from. If there was an option for negative stars they would receive the max. The doctors here won’t allow for surgery schedule for this morning due to a slight high blood pressure from serve pain. Then they refuse to proscribe the blood pressure meds needed to help the blood pressure that forced a surgery to cancel for. So one is suppose to stay in pain because their refuses to help. Please never go here. These doctors are all quacks and can’t make it in a real setting on their own.

Dr Yut and his nurse Jennifer are great, the rest of the place is not very good! Always have to call numerous times to get somebody on the phone. Totally agree with the other reviewers, front office staff is not friendly or professional. Maybe a good idea to change them, or at the very least teach them some customer/patient service skills.

We see NP Megan Craig for our infant daughter and have had multiple well and sick visits. Theres Always a minimal wait time. Megan really takes her time observing our daughter and going over the situation. We never feel rushed and have plenty of time for questions. She was especially helpful during the first few weeks of my daughters life, encouraging us new parents and supporting breastfeeding. I appreciate the extended hours of the practice and their willingness to fit us in. The nursing staff is very sweet as well. I definitely recommend Megan for pediatric care - her passion for babies is unmatched! 💕

Schedule an appointment due to a sickness and my regular doctor wasn’t available. I was scheduled with Dr. Meredith Young for 3 pm. Arrived around 3:02 pm and was not greeted by the receptionist. I signed in and sat down. After 20 minutes, the receptionist checked me in. Was taken to the back around 3:30 and left in the room. Not once did anyone state the doctor was running late or is behind; nothing. After waiting until 3:50 pm, I came out the room and asked what was going on and when will I be seen. The nurse I encountered stated there was another individual ahead of me and I would be seen after them. I then decided to cancel my appointment and go elsewhere. I have never seen such a poor display of patient service or regard. I do know not all the doctors at this facility are bad, however this incident took the cake. Never again.

Normally Village Medical Center is very professional. However, I had a fall and hit my head and tried to get an appt and could not get a receptionist on the phone and left a voice mail and it was not returned. Did speak with office manager today she assured me she would investigate. If you have this problem plz post and we will get it fixed. Surely this is not a corp price control measure to cut staff. They are not selling candles here but treating the sick and injured!

The front staff was very terrible. If I can give a zero, I would to. My insurance was inactive, so I had to call my husband to figure out. The front staff said to me if my husband couldn’t come back right now. She had to reschedule. How terrible she is!... I will not come back again. I have seen someone complained about the front staff. You need to consider about that or you are going to loose customers!

I went for labs today with an appointment and waited 40 minutes past my appt time. Every time I go to this location, the wait time is a minimum 30 minutes past the appointment time. I am not dissatisfied with the care provided, but if they cant stay on schedule, they need to change their processes.

This place is a JOKE! The doctor tells me that she will work with me during my initial visit and then refers me to a specialist after labs confirm the exact thing my previous labs that I took with me and reviewed with her showed. So now Ive lost two whole weeks in the process and now I have to start all over trying to find another doctor.

Our family has gone here for about a decade. There are some members of their practice I can speak very highly of, off the top of my head: Dr. Ngo, Dr. Yut, Dr. Young, have been very capable, proven able to think outside the standard flow chart box, and proven their ability to put patients whom are uneasy, at ease. I feel that our needs are met better through this practice than any other I have used before.

I went for a routine physical and like always I had to pay my co-pay before being seen. The physical exam went as normal. The PA that saw me forgot to give me the prescription before I left. I had to come back and ask for and waited to track her down to get it. I just went to another doctor appointment 1 mth later and was told I had a past due payment for discussing things outside my physical. I thought my physical encompasses everything about health. This person is hungry money instead of thinking about the patient 1st.

The doctors arent very smart. 3 different times they suggested I might have HIV because I felt tired, slept a lot and had a headache. They sent me to an infectious disease specialist in Conroe who laughed when we told him why I was there. He said it sounded like Mono. He did a test and it was Mono. He said that I had no other symptoms of someone with a HIV infection so he had no idea why Village Medical was so wrong. He suggested it might be their homophobia and judgmental staff. My insurance covered the whole ordeal but Village Medical billing kept saying I owed them money. I logged onto their payment system and it was $0.00. They had no idea how to fix this so just send a check. For what amount? So I tried to make a new appointment and the system wont allow me to ever return because I never paid the bill of $0.00. They still have no explanation.Aetna said they will investigate and penalize Village Medical for all of these screw ups.Village Medical also refuses Affordable Care Act plans to protest the oversight into their questionable billing.

I went there twice so far. 1st time with my daughter for her annual check up and myself annual check up. I made appointment online, no one called me prior the appointment to tell me i need to be fasting. we had appointment at 3:30. we checked in 3:20. called inside at 3:35. then waiting until 4:05 to see the doctor. Doctor was fine. because I wasnt fasting so I had to come back for blood draw. at this point, NO ONE, told me a thing I need to pay for the blood draw because its separate visit from my annual preventive check up! I made appointment for blood draw at 7:20am. I checked in at 7:10. waited until 7:30, the receiptist announced their tech is LITTLE late. their office opens at 7am, there was a gentelman before me had appointment at 7am. i asked receiptist what time the tech will be in. receiptist said they dont know, the tech was supposed to be here at 7am. so the tech was late for 30 minutes and they called it LITTLE late, and they had no idea what time the tech will be in. I had to go to work, waited another 10 minutes, their 2nd tech came in and we were called. I walked out around 7:50. on my way out, i was told i need to make co-pay because this is separate visit!I was with Kelsey Seybold in the past 4 years. I never had this crazy waiting issue. I am very disappointment with their managment. Doctor we were seeing, she was good. But punctuality is bad there.

This is not an office that I would ever recommend. Dr boudreauxs people, for the second time after we lost everything including our house due to the hurricane, showed how insensitive they are. I was put in the hospital and needed to see my doctor. It had been a while since I had been there since I lost my insurance due to brain injury and being banned from working. I am now 100% disabled. I had seen them being mean to an older lady and a lady with a couple of children before over minor billing issues before, but I wasnt sureo was the issue. Im sure now. The nurse and the person they sent me to, both were abrasive and extremely predjudicial. They refused to let me see the doctor PER THE DOCTORS ORDERS for anyone having a balance.i dont owe a balance. My three year apparently owed a copay from 2016 and they demanded we pay that. Since I had been in the emergency room, then in the hospital for two days, we couldnt pay. They made reference to the doctor expecting people like us to pay our bills and hung up. DONT SUPPORT HATERS, there are still some doctors who do this because they care about people...not your money.

Been using VM for myself and my son for 15 years. Two locations and lots of docs, NPs and PAs...so getting in at the last minute normally happens. Urgent care hours for established patients. The location in Alden Bridge is larger and more updated. The only doc I would stay away from at all costs is Dr. Stillwagon. Ive encountered him three times over the years and been absolutely disgusted by his demeanor. Each time I walked away thinking what a jerk and he clearly has no care for his patients.Ive really enjoyed Drs. Yut, Walker, Ngo and Young.
