If you use an insulin pump, please do not go here. I just switched from Dr. Choksi when I had been going there for about 10 years. She had zero clue of how to utilize the Medtronic Mini Med pump to help me with my diabetic lifestyle. I went to a new Endo and they downloaded all of my pumps history, and changed my bolus rates based on graphs and information about what I do daily. IT WAS AMAZING. I wish I would have switched YEARS ago if I knew that there were doctors out there that would have understood the technology that theyre prescribing me to use, but have no idea how themselves.

Dr. Choksi has been treating me. For my graves disease almost 3 years. Yes you might have a wait. But do you know why. She takes her time with you. She dosent give you 15 minute. She give you as much time as you neef

St Lukes nor Dr Choksi seem to care at ALL about makimg sure they follow up with their end of things. I have had a scan scheduled for over 3 weeks, the afternoon before my scan I am called and told that Dr. Choksis office didnt handle insurance coding correctly, could I call my insurance to make sure my scan is covered. So I did this. Then I get a message saying my scan has been canceled because they didnt have insurance verification. Ended up being the Dr didnt write the orders correctly. And does not come in on Mondays. Now I have to wait who k ows how long before having all the rescheduled. Meanwhile I have health concerns that are going unresolved

Nightmare trying to make an appointment. I just gave up with all St. Luke Endocrinologist. My Dr from St. Lukes sent over referral and request never heard from them. Called several times left message never heard back. Finally got ahold of someone and they want me to fill out history and medical background before making appointment. Really? They make it way to difficult I can see why most of them have bad ratings. Ridiculous

My boyfriend was a tad hesitant when he saw the reviews, but Dr. Choski came recommended from 3 of my neighbors. His appointment was smack in the middle of COVID. All precautions were taken throughout the facility. Staff was super friendly and helpful setting up future appointments and required testing. The nurse was thorough and nice. Now for Dr. Choksi (because isn’t this the most important part!). He was impressed by her knowledge, skills, and ability to assess all his issues. She won’t sugarcoat. She’s straight and to the point. He’s glad he went.

Dr Choksi is an amazing Endocrinologist. I have been having a lot of issues with my hypothyroidism which has affected the frequency and severity of my migraine headaches and ability to manage my weight. She’s the only Doctor to finally get it under control. I’m feeling so much better and able to lose weight again! Her staff is efficient and friendly. Waiting is not usually long for appointments.

I love Dr. Choksi!!!! She is very blunt but awesome. I need that type of direction with maintaining my health. i need aomeone to be honest and let me know that I must up when needed. She has a plan for your health that she expects you to follow. I need that. I believe I have found the right person I need to help lead me in the right direction. Thank you Dr. Choksi!!!!

Spoke too soon. Since joining the new Medical Group, cant get them on the phone> Dr Choksi is great but the front desk (not her staff) is HORRIBLE! Next to impossible to get through. Absurd business practice. Unfortunately, not in her control.Awesome doc! Ive been through LOTS of endocrinologists and this one is GREAT! Takes time to talk and explain. Does NOT treat you like just another way to get a payday. Thank you!

Dr. Choksi has always been a very dedicated physician to the health of her patients. Very compassionate with every issue Ive ever had. Shes straight forward with her guidance to your well being.

Called to set up as a new patient. Have to leave message anytime you call. They called the following day and said they would review my records from primary Dr. and call back in 5 to 7 days to schedule an appt for me. A month has passed and after leaving 4 messages. I have not heard back from this Dr. in my opinion; don’t waste your time going to this so called Dr. if they can’t return a phone call i would have to see the record keeping and practice operations

Dr Choksi has been my doctor for 18 years. She has always listened, been direct with me when I needed it and the outcome has been positive. I would highly recommend Dr. Choksi!

My retiring endocrinologist recommended I start seeing Dr. Choski, even gave me her business card. I called her office to schedule a new patient appointment. Told them I was a diabetic and they immediately said Dr Choksi wasn’t accepting new patients. Even after I explained my old doctor had talked with her, I still got the firm “no”! Either she is a endocrinologist not wanting to treat diabetic patients or she hadn’t communicated this arrangement with her front office. Nonetheless, want no part of this situation. Other endocrinologists are out there.

I was notified that I needed to have blood work done before my second appointment with Dr. Choksi. The office said they would send an order to the lab we agreed on for this work, I took off work and went to the lab to discover they had no order from the Doctor. The lab called the office in the middle of the afternoon and was told they had all gone home and no one could be reached. The answering service assured the lab that they would relay the message to send the order. I called the Doctors office this morning and was put on hold for 7 minutes and then disconnected. I called the ;ab to check on the order and they have not received an order from the doctor. I will be cancelling my appointment and finding a new doctor.

Ive never been to an office where the staff is so scared to do anything, including the PA. Dr Choksi (she barely qualifies for that title) is one of the most disinterested MDs I have ever seen & apparently she runs her office like a detention center. Her attitude is directly reflected by the way youre treated by her staff. Stay away if at all possible!

In the beginning Dr Choksi was great! After I became an established patient this changed. She wouldn’t listen to my concerns & she dismissed what I had to say. After 4 years I’m still trying to get my medical records sent over to my new Endo.In addition to that, the front desk is rude!! They are short and abrupt with no people skills. When calling the office they never answer the phones and when they do they put you on hold and never come back. This is another reason I left this establishment. Now if I could get my much needed medical records!!!!

Very helpful in managing my healthCondition. Always gives suggestion s on how to improve my aic. Very patient, always listens to my concerns. Most importantly, have not given up on me to reach my health goals..

Have been seeing Dr.Choksi several years.not sure what has happened the last year or so, but things have obviously changed. The PA is incompetent in refilling prescriptions needed & when you call the office to advise them they did not fill all the prescriptions, they say they will relay the msg & you will receive a call back from either the Dr. or the PA. I have never received a call back even after calling and leaving several messages & speaking with the receptionist. Also, they never called in Prescription that was to be refilled so I went nearly 3 months without a medication & my blood work came back messed up. Finding another Dr. & wouldnt recommend this office to anyone if you are looking for someone that takes pride in their work & is truly concerned with their patients.

Dr. Choksi is a former doctor of mine. I too had issue with a follow up appointment they scheduled me for in Kingwood on the day they are not in that office. My biggest beef is my copay. I paid in cash and I left the office with what I thought was a printed receipt. It was actually my next appointment printout. So now a year later I am still being billed for that copay. I called several times and no one calls me back from either her office or the billing office for the GHPMA group shes with. I tried again middle of this past week and still no word from anyone. Of course they dont let you leave the office without settling the bill but Im wondering if the girl at the desk pocketed the cash. The one time I got through to a supervisor at the doctors office, she played the Im new card and didnt even offer to help me solve the issue. This practice is a joke!

I wish I could give her 0 stars because one is way too much.She is by far one of the worst doctors I have ever been too. I was diagnosed with hypothyroid disorder by my primary care doctor and Dr. Choski did plenty of blood tests and couldnt tell which kind I had. Additionally, she made false claims towards my insurance so I had to report her for fraud. She do not care about you as a patient and will belittle and curse at you. She refuses to put you on medication that helps and when you do research and ask about other medicines she gets offended and disrespectful.I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Avoid this doctor at all costs! She has an office near where I live in Kingwood but I was told when I made the appointment that all new patients have to go to the Woodlands office. They mail me a packet of information to complete and I show up to her office in the Woodlands for the appointment. Then they tell me they have no record of an appointment for me and that Im not even in their system. The office staff never apologized for my 45 minute drive each way or offered to squeeze me in. The only response the office staff had was that Im the only one here-everyone else has quit. Needless to say, Im finding another endocrinologist! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I thank every day that I have received treatment for my hashimotos thyroid disease Dr. Choksi is by far the most patient very attentive doctors I have ever had. Staff at her office is very professional and go out of there way to make sure everything is handled correctly.

STAFF IS RUDE...The staff is very rude. Dr. will not listen to your concerns expect to wait 30 to 45 minutes in the exam room befor she comes in. FIND A DIFFERENT DR. RUN RUN STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

The billing at this office is all screwed up!! I received a bill from a collection company for an office visit from October 2016!!!! I NEVER received a bill from Dr. Choksis office for the remaining that I owed after insurance paid from that visit. Extremely RUDE as I NEVER have an issue paying my bills that I owe.After numberous phone calls .....no one seems to know who did not bill back in 2016 for the remaining and simply sent it to the collection agency!!You need to get your act together in that office and let your patients know when they come in before their next visit with the Dr. If they owe any from the visit before!!!!! How difficult is THAT!?!?Dr. Choksi is a very good doctor and I have no complaints against her.....only the billing of the GHPMA Greate Houston Physicians Medical Association PLLC!!!

Avoid this lady!!!!! Sent to collections 2 years after Appt for $60 which was paid at time of service. Never received bill in 2 years and collections comes in mail and blackmails you into paying. They have no records to check in office. Inept idiots in office. Wasting my time and stealing money but you have no recourse unless you want damages to credit.

I waited around 45 minutes to be seen by the doctor every visit. I has several unnecessary follow ups and labs done. This doctor shows in my “in-network” for insurance but they actually bill through the group so I was charged $500 for my visits that I am just now getting billed for. I have now found a new doctor and was in and out of the check in/appointment in 30 minutes and won’t need to be seen again until next year.
