We scheduled an appointment, completed the questions and made a payment. But when we got to the office, 15 minutes early, no one was there.They are sure quick to take the credit card money out BEFORE giving a service. They dont even show up and we tried several different phone numbers and extensions but never received any calls back. I guess we will have to contact Visa and declare it fraud. NOT a reliable company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY...THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY AND NEVER SHOW UP FOR APPOINTMENT OR ANSWER PHONE CALLS.

Dr. Glider is professional,knowledgeable as is his Medical Assistant. I discussed an issue I’m having. He listened, reviewed my e-chart while in the room with Me. Suggested a new Tx Plan. I felt he covered all my questions. And the MA was very helpful both before, answering questions I had and after the appt as well. Saved me some money on the Dr. referral!! 👍

My primary doctor referred me to this location. What an amazing experience! Julissa was so professional and fully prepared to answer all my questions. They offer a tremendous amount of information including materials you can take with you. Turns out to be a great location, just down the road from my allergy shots.

My in office experience was awful. I paid 189 dollars for 5 minutes with a not polite doctor who read from a computer screen what I already know. When I tried to speak he practically shut me up and kept reading. A waste of my money.

My first appointment was decent. But, my records hadnt been requested even though I sent my paperwork in pretty early. Dr. Glider was training during my first evaluation, which lead to some, in my opinion, unprofessional bedside manner. Overall, the experience was decent on my first visit, but did not leave me feeling overall comfortable with being new to using this form a alternative medication. That being expected as each person is different and the different forms of consumption, etc are different for each person and how each affects said person. I completely understand the experimental phase of turning to medicinal marijuana. As stated, thats why I am understanding of most of the above.What has turned my decent experience into a 2 star experience (generously) are as follows; I was told on my re-up visit the cost would be very reduced. That did not happen. In fact, I paid more for my scripts to be renewed than what my initial evaluation cost. Secondly, maybe that day Dr. Glider was not in his best mood, but the tele-call we had was extremely unprofessional. Dr. Glider did not seem to care about how I had been doing over my first 6 months, glazed over questions, became very rude when I stated I could not hear him due to him not speaking loud enough or the call quality being low, and basically left me with a we got your money, we dont care feeling. ~ $180+ for a 5 minute video call...So my scripts were renewed, but this is still the medical industry and a Dr and their practice (admins, assistants, reps, etc) in this field should have the same etiquette, empathy, and manner as a Dr in the traditional medicine fields.Will not recommend, will not go back. Hate leaving bad reviews, a decent experience turned into a sham.

Positive Update 05/03/2021Dr. Ravi Patel at DocMJ was my televisit follow up yesterday.He was very nice, understanding, patient, and thorough. I didnt feel like he was rushing our appointment to get me out the door, nor did I feel like he was trying to drag the meeting out. This was my second appointment with DocMJ, my first being with Doctor Ross Glider, and this visit as well as the medical care professional I was with was just as pleasant as the first time.Making the appointment was super easy and same day, I scheduled the televisit appointment just 30minutes prior to our then scheduled time, the meeting itself was efficient and pleasant. I cannot recommend DocMJ, and in particular Dr. Patel enough. Thank you!~I would like to **POSITVELY** edit this.I had a small hiccup with the follow-up results; however I emailed the customer service team, they got back to me within 24 hours, and resolved my issue with no fuss, super friendly, very helpful. If i could give DocMJ another half-star in my review to reflect how happy I was with the customer service alone, i would. THANK YOU DOCMJ!

My in office experiences were cold at best. The bedside manner of each doctor I have seen was very weak. Additionally the effectiveness of the call center or email system is terrible as well. There are no notification sent to patients when the recs are about to expire. Thusly, I have been left twice on a Friday evening with no way to get my medication and a weeks wait ahead . I’ll be going elsewhere with my HUNDREDS of dollars per year. Bye

The appointments are very convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful and Dr. Ross Glider is business-like while being polite. Follow the guidelines and be respectful and you will have an excellent experience.

Didn’t really have a pleasant experience with the doctor. Seemed as though he was judging me before i had even spoke a word. Basically told me to shut up when i was going to speak. Didn’t ask me anything. Just tried to find a reason to approve me. Overall bad experience. Made me feel horrible for even going there. Hope they don’t treat everyone like this. But it honestly seems like they care more about money and getting approvals.

I loved this clinic! The staff is very professional and helpful with all your questions. Kayla did my intake and got all my immediate needs addressed in a timely fashion. I was quite skeptical and nervous when I arrived for my first appointment. But Julissa and Dr Glider were great! They eased my mind by providing as much information as possible. Dr Glider was thorough and I think he has the ability to read your mind. I left feeling like I finally had a plan that was going to work for me. I arrived to the office close to 30 mins early for my appointment. They didnt make me wait until my scheduled time, just had me sign in and took me once they were finished with the other patient before me. Kayla was nice, friendly and showed great patience even when having an error with the blood pressure machine. The doctor was nice and very fast in his assessment which didnt have me there all day like in other doctor offices. Office was very clean and the employees were extremely friendly, I would recommend this to future patients.

Went to this location, showed up early then my appt, which was not an issue. Was taken into the exam room they did the normal vital check, and then the nurse scanned my medical documents. The staff was extremely friendly when I first arrived. Not only were many of them patients themselves, but they told me how much it has helped them. The doctor was straight to the point and wasted no in assuring if the medical card was necessary for me or not. Julissa checked me in over half hour early and I was taken back for vitals almost immediately after signing in. She was super sweet and friendly and seemed to enjoy her job and seemed that she worked where she was happy and appreciated.I was immediately seen by Dr.Glider where he was a bit formal and efficient with the examination/discussion. After that, he opened the door to questions of any type from what the strains do to what’s best for my condition and what will be best with someone who also has anxiety attacks. He was warm and friendly and smiled at some of my naive questions. He even gave a little laugh when I told him I was doing my homework. I think every once and a while he gets a novice in his office and he still can get a little joy and happiness in helping people have a better life.I’m looking forward to this Journey to better, pain free health. I was extremely happy with Doc MJ. They got into an appointment 2 weeks earlier than original date. I waited maybe 5 minutes in the lobby to be seen. The doctor knew about my prior history and helped me understand everything I needed to know. I would recommend to anyone.

I was looking online at all the different places and wanted to see what people were saying. I have a question though, how is it cheaper at 169 for 7 months when I paid 235 for 12 months at another place. If my math is right 169*2=338 because you have to go 2 times a year when I am going once. So because you are getting 2 months extra that is better. Am I missing something?

Never again, I honestly gave this place such praise. They took my money and never put in the recommendation!! i had to wait on the phone for half an hour to get someone to fix THEIR problem. Destiny Burgos should not be a manager because she cannot talk to customers.

Dr. Glider and his nurse were wonderful. While the clinic space may throw you off initially due to its spartan nature, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable in what would seem to be an uncomfortable experience due to the federal legality issue. Dr. Glider took time to ask me about my medical history, asked about previous medication treatments and their efficacy.Ive recommended several patients to Dr. Glider and DocMJ and no one has given me anything but high praise for both the doc and the organization.

I submitted all necessary medical documents, received a call with an appointment, which was about 5 miles from where I live. Julissa checked me in and took me right back where I was seen by Dr. Doug Schow. He explained exactly what I needed to do; what was going to happen; explained different types of strains of THC and CBD and their effects on the body and mind. I am a new patient of Dr. Ross Glider and had an appointment with him yesterday. Because of the recent July 1st, 2018 opiod law, Ive been forced by pain management to get off my prescription opiods and for pain relief of my many health issues, I was recommended to look into medical marijuana by my pain management dr. I originally set up an appointment with a medical marijuana doctor but they wanted $299 for the office visit. After joining a FB group for Chronic Pain patients using medical marijuana and talking to the members, they all suggested me using docmj as opposed to just googling a medical marijuana doctor. So I went on the docmj website and set up an appointment. The whole process was fairly simple. I was really worried because of me seeing pain management and not sure how this whole process was. I was only charged $169 for 7 months or you can set up a payment plan with Docmj. The office was clean and everyone was very nice. I went in with all of my medical records, prescriptions, etc. I saw Dr. Glider and he was very knowledgeable and very nice. I look forward to working with them to help relieve my pain and he believes I can get off of all of my pain medications and help me get my life back. I definitely recommend Dr. Ross Glider to anyone seeking pain relief. I live in the Riverview/Apollo Beach area and it was definitely worth the drive to W Waters St. Thank you everyone at the office for all of your help, understanding and for making the whole process simple. Thank you for doing what you do to help give us chronic pain patients back our lives so that we can function again.
