Every time I come in the Hillcrest office, Tanisha and everyone else are always so genuine and Judge free. They treat everyone who comes in nicely and are all respectful. They take this pandemic serious, that they make sure everyone is taking protocol to protect themselves and their patients. I enjoy coming here when I need to. It’s always the same. I recommend this office 100%!

Wonderful care!!! I fell and was pretty sure Id broken my arm. We drove over from Pacolet, they took me straight in and were so professional. Exam, x-rays, and they made my appointment to the hand doctor for the next day, then wrapped me up. Cannot recommend everyone there enough, especially Dr. Morrison.

Made an online appointment instead of calling! When I arrived nobody was in front of me so didn’t even have to wait went straight in and was seen from the room! Staff was amazing and answered every question I had… if I could give 10 stars I would

The staff was friendly, courteous, and got me in and out quickly.

The Doctor takes time to listen to me & you can see that your concerns are important to him. Unlike the PAs at other urgent care facilities. Ill never go to Gaffney the fact that Dr could have caused me more medical problems because he never took any time with me. Remarks were rude. I will only use Dr care when needing urgent care facility again on E main street.

DOCTORS CARE IN SPARTANBURG, SC ON EAST MAIN STREET AT HILLCREST IS ONE OF THE BEST FACILITIES TO GO TO FOR CARE AND TREATMENT WHETHER IT IS EMERGENCY OR NOT YOU ARE TREATED LIKE A HUMAN BEING AND NOT JUST A NUMBER OR A HOUSE OR A CAR PAYMENT WHICH IS VERY HARD TO FIND THESE DAYS!!🙏👼PLUS, AFTER FINDING OUT I HAD BRONCHITIS AGAIN BECAUSE, I ALWAYS GET IT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR IN THE FALL AND USUALLY IN THE SPRING AS WELL THEY DID A COVID-19 TEST FOR ME WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE NEGATIVE AND I AM, SO VERY GRATEFUL FOR SINCE I OFTEN RIDE THE CITY BUS AND YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN ON PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION LIKE THAT EVEN WITH A MASK!?🙏

This is by far the best emergency care facility in the Spartanburg area. The doctors are excellent and have exceptional people skills. You are quick in, and quick out. No waiting in the waiting room for 3 hours. Best doctors who are brilliant, with superb bedside manners.

Been waiting for hours to get put in a room then waited in the doctors office for another hour and half to get seen by the doctor. This is ridiculous shouldn’t be taking this long

Checked in online at opening time with 0 people ahead of my 2 year old daughter. Pull in 5 minutes later and standing in line I watched her go from number 3 to number 6. The nurse at the desk had at attitude about me coming in early, when the last time I was seen here I was told NOT to go by the time listed on wait time to just come in. Completely contradictory! Let me just say that I pushed the paper back to her and told her we will not be coming here again!

Scheduled online. Received the text that my appointment is in 30 minutes. Got there, filled out paperwork.Waited for about 15 minutes to be seen. Staff were friendly. They gave me a follow up call 2 days later to check on me. Great service.

The young black female that took my blood pressure was a a little rude while asking me questions.

I just called to get a referral and was told byLena due to me having Medicaid she couldn’t refer me to Spartanburg ENT... I was told my primary doctor could refer me and Doctors Care is where I receive all my treatment. It’s discrimination to the ones with Medicaid and when I mention it she stated: that’s what it is right now. Will be notifying corporate.

Did the call ahead to be put in line which was a 45 minute wait in itself. Got here an have been here over an hour just sitting still no Dr. or anything. I guess Once I finally see a Dr I’ll know if it was worth the wait. Crazy.

My girlfriend and I went to the N.C state fair that had an outbreak of legionnaires disease and she started having pneumonia like symptoms, so we went to get checked due to people dying. while I was fine and went for a check up/ physical mainly to have a prescreening to see if I’m alright. After we turned in our paperwork I was immediately turned away, they said I need to come in the mornings(which due to work I really can’t do that at all without missing work), but as I was telling the rude receptionist that I don’t have to be checked today that we are really here to have my girlfriend looked at, the most entitled, pompous and condescending doctor came out and proceeded to give me the same answer as the receptionist. Once I made clear, for the third time, that we are here for her and that I was here mainly for support they then put on a mask of benevolence and help. I do not recommend this place if you are sick or healthy, the atmosphere is that of laziness and arrogance 1/10 will never come back. I have never heard of a doctors care to 1. Turn away a patient, and the icing on the cake that really drove me to writing this review 2. Tells us that she’d need to be spitting up blood for us to really know she has legionnaires disease.... so basically until you’re about to die or need serious help, these guys can’t help you.P.S. while I was sitting here after finishing my review, the receptionist has picked up the phone and started having a personal conversation about how much she hates to be here and how much she hates working so much. This place is just full of professionals, I tell ya.

The only decent part about this doctors care are the girls at the front desk because theyre the only ones that can do their job properly. After taking my weight and other measurements they took me to a room and I sat in that room until 20 minutes after closing ( I went into the room around 6). The only reason the doctor found out about me was because they were checking the rooms before they left. And they didnt even apologize to me. If you need to go to doctors care for the love of god just go to westgate dont waste your time with these idiots

They are amazing. It had been a very long frustrating path thru workers comp reps to their door. They managed to calm a crying hysterical patient down and get me the help I needed. Brava. Thinking about making them my primary care doctor.

Do not waste your time and health !!!It’s been even worst now. Nurse practitioner just came for a minute and prescribe me one antibiotic and charged me $135 cash. Doctor didn’t even come to look and I’m suffering in severe pain 😥

I went in today to Doctors care and could not have ask to be treated any kinder. The ladies at the front desk we sociable. The wait was not long. The tech who took my vitals was excellent and the Doctor Mcelhaney was the best. Very caring staff for everyone I saw today.

If you can get there when they open at 8, then it goes pretty quickly & smoothly. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of waiting to check in at 10:30 today & after going away & coming back after getting my text, I finally got in at 1:30 (after being told at 10:30 there would be an hour wait). So not the place you want to go if youre looking for speed of service (unless youre there when they open the door).

Didn’t get a answer or even a guess as to what was wrong with my daughter. Took her somewhere else, she has thrush. It can’t be that difficult to diagnose that. Also the NP tried to send us to the ER bc the device said her oxygen level was low. Even i know If it was that low she wouldn’t of had her color still..👎

I was very impressed with the Doctors Care facility and staff. This was my first visit and they treated me like I was an old friend. I did have to wait for some time before being called back, but there were quite a few people ahead of me when I got there. I will definitely return to Doctors Care the next time the need arises for urgent care!

Loved my NP but was told my lab work could take up to 3 days. I am at 5 days and still waiting. When I called more than once they told me, we will call you. Unacceptable!!

Care here is very hit or miss. Ive had great care and not so great care. I recently was in for a sick visit and spent 3 hours waiting to be seen, as there was only one doctor working. I have taken the medicine as prescribed but am not feeling better. I have called twice today (5 hours apart) and was told both times that the doctor was in the room with a patient and would return my call as soon as he came out. Its now been over an hour since my last call and I have not heard anything back. I was told again that only one doctor is in the office and thats why my call hasnt been returned. I am truly baffled why a walk in clinic would repeatedly schedule only one doctor in the office during flu season. Ive came to this office for years and am very disappointed with the downward slide of service.

Love the online check-in. Fill in the form on line and you can wait at home. They send a text 1/2 hr before your turn. We got the text right away, got there 10 mins early as requested and were in to see the Dr in 5 min. Very professional and thorough.

This was a first for me, I was very pleased with all the staff and Dr. I was treated great and all the tests were taken to resolve my injury, just wish I went the day it happened instead of the next day. Thank you, and I will recommend this clinic to everyone...

Front desk staff has been horrible and rude every single time I have been here. The wait is always absurd. Was just told very rudely that the wait would be three and a half hours! I promptly left and went to MD360 where I was taken in immediately and with awesome service. Dont get me wrong, the doctors do a great job, but the other staff is miserable. Will not be coming back.

I did the online check in and online appointment visit. Super easy, super quick. The whole process took 15 minutes. Now Im waiting for my prescription to be filled at my pharmacy. 10/10 would do again!

If I could give no stars I would. I called yesterday and explain I recently moved here from out of state. I need a physical and updated shot for my 6yo. The lady Maria told me yes they could help me with this. Today I show up and got told no they dont do that there. Then sent me to the evening clinic that is permanently closed down....thank you but no recommendations from me.

Doctors Care on E.Main Street in Spartanburg SC is a great urgent care to go to. Their friendly and informative. My family has used them a handful of times, and every time I am pleased with the care that we receive. The doctors are nice, and have wonderful bedside manners. Their also trustworthy with their decisions. I would recommend going to Doctors Care anyday ... Thank You Doctors Care!

I was feeling awful.When I called, they advised there would be a wait but to come on in, they would see me.They were genuinely concerned for me and tended to business.It was worth the wait, I left with a diagnosis, a prescription, and a feeling that all that could be done had been done.

I made my appointment on line and when i got there it was not long before i was in to see dr. she was great andgot me fixed up in short order.

I walked in this place at 1:45 pm, dealt with their rude front desk and i decided to leave at 3:30 because everyone was called in but me, even the people who came after me, and when I asked for my money I did also, again, had to deal with front desk attitude. Then, I simply drove down to immediate care which is couple of feet from doctors care. I was there at 3:35 they called me in at 3:39 I was out by 3:55. Whatever you do, do not waste your time and money with this place! They are a joke.

The 2 ladies that worked here TODAY, (NOT SURE IF ITS THE SAME EVERYDAY) are very rude. All I ask was why I had to repeat paperwork and she got really loid with me...not cool. All she had to do was say it in a nicer tone and NOT embarrass me like she did. Idk about back staff, will update review when I find out.

I was seen promptly and it was very helpful.

I had to fill out a lengthy bunch of forms that I had filled out on a previous visit and I have carpal tunnel syndrome which makes it difficult to do excessive writing. (6 pages) I told the girls at the front desk and got no help or offer of help. Finally another patient asked if she could help me fill out the forms. The desk girls never have any contact or attention to the patients, except to ask for the co-pay! I felt compromised having to give the patient my personal information!!!The doctors help was fine once I got in to see him.

This place is a joke.. was sent here by the orthopedic dr because of a fall and the injury needed stitches. To which they couldnt do in the bone dr office. Got here at 10:01, its now 1:00. We have watched 4 people walk in and go right back to be seen. When I asked why this was happening. We were told..online registration gets seen first.. So why isnt this information on their site? Why werent we told this when we entered the doors.. WHY IS THERE NO SIGN SAYING THIS. CAUSE I WOULD HAVE LEFT AND WENT TO MED CARE.. NEVER.. AND I STRESS.. NEVER EVER WAITED MORE THAN 45 MIN AT MED CARE.

I waited for a good while here however the doctor that I did see was the sweetest doctor that I have seen in my adult life.

Dont waste your time and money here, I burned my hand so badly it left an impression of the handle on the palm of my hand, I went here for help as I was in severe pain and crying holding an ice pack in my hand. They did little to nothing, gave me some triple ointment to put on it, they didnt even bandage it. They told me to take some Tylenol and sent me away. They also took a girl having a physical done ahead of me, nothing urgent about this facility. I will never waste my time here again.

Dr. McElhaney took the time to adequately address my symptoms. I will return to Doctors Care for my health care concerns in the future.

The women running the front desk keep insisting I have a co pay when I dont and have charged me for an X-ray I didnt receivce. They still claim 66 months later I owe them money when I do not! The doctors there arnt much better!

It said online there was 6 ppl in front of me.. the place opens at 8am and i checked in at 9:15 why i gotta wait til 12 something? why is this place so slow?

I have never had to wait (checking in online) and the staff have always been so nice.

Called at 7 ask what time they closed, told me 8. They said no wait time, so I drive 30 minutes , arrived at 730 just to be met at the door and they say , sorry not seeing anymore patients. I tell them my wife has 103 fever im sure she has the flu because my daughter was diagnosed with it 3 days earlier . Nope they could care less. Turned us away.

This place is SLOW AS A 8 DAY CLOCK!!! WOWThe np Linda M. Alwine lied to me about my treatment plan & they are ALL about INSURANCE.... NOT THE PATIENT!! I got treated like a step child after waiting 5 hours! NEVER again will I go to doctors care!!

God awful. My appointment was at 12:50 and at 1:50 im still waiting. My name is next on the screen to be seen but they called two others who are behind me . They took my 125.00 to be seen then told us they only had one dr instead of three about an hour later.

Finding a Doctor that I loved years ago again

Ive been waiting for 3 hours with my pregnant wife and I asked what is taking so long and the lady up front laughed and said I dont know what to tell you we have only had one doctor since 5. I got here with my wife at 2:30 and had 2 people in front of us

I had the flu for the first in 20-30 years, they were great. I didnt have to wait long at all.

I started at the east side office and waited an hour and a half. I was told then it would be another 2 hours but I could go to the Blackstock Rd office for virtually no wait-----I have been here for 3 hours and just got taken to a room.

Staff was very patient in the face of many impatient patients. When finally getting out of waiting room, the NP and visiting doctor waiting on the other end were fantastic! :)However, there were many, MANY impatient patients and only one doctor on duty until they transferred somebody over from another center. The receptionist had the patients lock the front door to the facility over an hour before they closed.

You’ll wait for hours for awful care. If you call to check the wait time, they tell you to check in online for an appointment. When you arrive for your appointment and wait for an hour, they admit the online check-in doesn’t do anything and you are at the back of the line. Avoid this dishonest company if at all possible.

This place is very slow in service and I wouldnt recommend going here unless you absolutely have to!! I have waited 2 hours in a room just for the dr. To come in with an attitude! !

I did the online check in around 9:15 this morning ( its currently 12:04) and I have still been here for an hour and a half, were in a room ( been in here for 25 minutes ) but havent seen a doctor .... its not even packed, theyre just slow and very inconsiderate of other ppls time.

2.5 hour wait so far. . . 1 hour to go. . .
