The best Doctor to the best staff. The staff was so spot on helpful picking out the perfect glasses for me!

When I arrived for my appointment though social distancing, the store was pretty busy and all waiting chairs were taken. My wait after selecting glasses was about 35 minutes. Once waiting on, the customer service was great! I was not able to use my 40% coupon received in the mail because I have insurance (coupon was only good if you dont have insurance).Once I received email to pick up my glasses, when I arrived the staff person told me I needed an appointment (not stated in email), but I could wait. After about 20 minutes, she handed me my glasses - no fitting, no complimentary cloth, just here you go.I walked into a competitors store a couple days later, without an appointment and had the glasses fitted (with a smile). I probably wont go back to Visionworks.

I brought my daughter in today and Ariel and Gabby was very friendly and kind!

I have been calling the store, reached out on Facebook and chat on there website. All I want is the script for my contacts and to know if my sample pair of contacts were ordered. No one answers the phone at the store. The chat online sucks. I just want what I paid for.

Soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by the sweetest, most pleasant woman, Ms.Jennifer! She definitely made my first visit a warm and welcomed one! Absolutely perfect customer service and treated me more like a long time friend than just a customer. Thanks Jennifer! You are amazingly awesome! Will definitely be at vision works from now on ❤️

I got new glasses a week ago, and when I was purchasing them and then picking them up, I was helped by Aaron. He was awesome! Such a nice young man, a true customer service attitude, and really positive. As he worked with me, a woman came in with her daughter and was about to leave because her insurance wasnt going to cover the new glasses that she needed for her little girl. When Aaron saw them about to leave, he asked them to stay because he had a promotion that would probably work out for them - so they stayed. He was definitely looking out for the best interest of the customer, as well as the company. I went home and told my husband how great of an experience it was picking out my glasses. I wish there were more individuals in the customer service industry like Aaron. With four eyeglass wearers in our household, we will be back!!! Thank you!!

Everyone that works here is SO nice! They treated my whole family like we were longtime friends, each team member we worked with were kind and so thoughtful. Dr. Parker is wonderful, she was professional, thorough, and helped us understand every step of the exam and recommendations.

Didnt have an exam here, but glasses selection was great and the staff was awesome. Good prices, too. Highly recommend! Ive had glasses since I was in third grade, and I like the customer service and prices at Visionworks way better than LensCrafters or Pearle. Much better selection than Sams club or Costco, too.

Ask for Dr. Parker at the Southfield Visionworks location for an accurate eye exam, answering your questions thoroughly. There are other optometrists on staff, but Dr. Parker is the only one youll want for the best professional experience. She is super nice too! Scott was helpful and made a few simple eye tests more fun with his sense of humor. Alfred was the man of true patience... helping me determine what glasses to try on.

The staff was wonderful and the optometrist was very patient and knowledgeable. My script is perfect!

Visited yesterday. Shawn, Dr. Jaime, and Jennifer were awesome. Very pleasant to work with. All had smiles and a positive attitude. Got me in and out in less than an hour. They did a good job of covering my options and getting me the best discounts. Shout out to the Star Center location.

Wonderful experience! Went in for our youngest vision test and they all were so nice pleasant and patient! They answered all of our LOs questions in a way that she understood to quell any anxiety that she was having. The Dr was amazing! Again the patience she showed us and being able to articulate just what she was wanting for a 4 year old to understand yep....going back here again next year for sure!

DO NOT GET YOUR CONTACTS HERE! They wrote my prescription wrong and ordered the wrong contacts- one eye monthly and one eye daily contacts instead of both eyes daily contacts. I contacted them numerous times over a 3 month time period to correct my order. They were rude to me multiple times on the phone. It took 3 MONTHS & 10+ phone calls to get the correct contact order.

This was a great experience especially because I was so nervous being that wearing glasses would be a first ever for me. The customer service was amazing, the employees were knowledgeable and patient and very eager to please. I would refer them to anyone.

The most amazing place ever! Very affordable and the doctors know what they are doing. Took my dad to different eye doctors nobody helped him with his eye issue yet charged an arm and a leg. Came to Visionworks and problem solved right away!Thank you for actually helping people!!!!

Walking into Visonworks I was greeted by Scott immediately. He explained the process to me and gave me a chance to look around. I was then handed over Jennifer who was AWESOME every step of the way. This office is really nice and customer friendly!! Highly recommended!!!

She was most helpful to me selecting the frames I chose and took time to verify insurance coverage so I could get the best costs for what I could afford. The customer service is amazing! Every time I come in the atmosphere is professional and comfortable. I love that it is a friendly environment. Whenever there was a mix up or something needed to be corrected it was fixed/corrected immediately and in a timely fashion.

I went to this place for repair on what was a 2 for 1 sale day. While the place was busy there is NO excuse for poor customer service. I stood for 10 minutes and no body acknowledged me. I walked out and came back in and a guy who was working near the door invited me to sit down. About 15 minutes later a woman came out to say she couldnt help.me because they were too busy, Dont you see all of these people in here? Shamefully rude. It is very likely I wont return to that place and it will telll everyone I know not to go there.

Simran was incredible! She made picking out glasses a great experience. She found a pair for me to try on I would have picked out on my own. They were the pair I ended up buying.

I visited this location for my eye exam and pair of glasses. Simran is awesome and took care of my needs very well and helped me to get great glasses. Eye exam was detailed and this store has good collection of prescription and sun glasses. Definitely visit again.

How can you be running 30Minutes behind??? Ok 5-15 minutes, but 30??? And if you’re running that far behind...JUST LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW! This is how you ruin a business; unacceptable.This place is a ZOO—I don’t recommend coming here unless you want to sit around and watch many customer being upset.

I purchased my glasses at this Southfield after my wife picked up a couple of pairs from here and our experiences were wonderful from the time we walked in up to pick up time which was sooner than they anticipated. Now I returned for a light repair because my glasses were bumped by someones head stripping my glasses arm screw. Darlana (hope I spelled that right) had wonderfully trained staff handle my needs prior and now I had the pleasure of working with her first hand on this repair. What an eyes saver! Great convo, very expeditiously fixed and i will be recommending this company and this particular location to people.

Exceptional vision exam, education & eyewear selection assistance! Services performed personally by General Manager (Darlana Otis). Optometrist was courteous in extending exam time due to my delayed arrival from Louisville, KY. Ms. Otis gave clear explanation of approaching eyewear selection in direct correlation to exam results. This included contacts vs eyeglasses, options for protection from UV & sunlight exposure during outdoor & driving activities, & basics in facial positioning of eyewear. I appreciate the patience shown during the selection process, and thorough review of my out-of-pocket charges & delivery options. I plan to order prescription sunglasses as well!
