My problem is with how the prices of everything is hidden. None of the frames have prices on them. I selected a Timberland frame and discussed the lenses that I needed and gave them my insurance information. At the end I was given a bill for about $600, of which I was responsible for $255 while my insurance covered $345! The frame alone was $250! I was quite surprised but told myself well, this place must be a very special place and the frame I picked must be absolutely the top of the line. Later on my curiosity forced me to check the price of the frame on line and found out that frame is $83.95.I needed a second pair. This time I went to Costco and got a pair of quality glasses with no-glare lenses for a total of $120.I really feel ripped off and will never patronize this business and will ask my family to do the same.

I arrived a day early for my appointment, Im not sure what the confusion was. They very graciously did my thorough examination while I was there. I did feel slightly rushed to pick my frames but it was closing time and I was being indecisive. I do recommend 2020 Family Vision SF.

2020 family vision is the best place to be at for all your optical eye cares! The staff is amazing. Dr. Elias, Lily, Sam, and Lorita were the best help for everything. They were super friendly and nice! They have a wide selection of glasses of many different brands and helped me pick out the perfect one! So happy to be treated by a amazing team !! This is the place you should be at !

I called to make an appointment for an eye exam. The receptionist would not open the books to see if I could schedule an appointment for an eye exam with out first knowing who my optical provider was. At the time I did not know and therefore she told me to basically call back when I had that information. I called my employer and got the information. The receptionist answered my second call and immediately put me on a 10 minute hold. Her attitude was very unprofessional and the fact that she wouldnt take any information without knowing who my insurance provider was and member ID felt discriminatory. I mean what about those who are paying cash or credit and are in dire need of service? I ended up making my appointment with Sobel Eyecare in Southfield, MI. Their receptionist was very professional and she made my appointment with ease. Also the very LAST question she asked me was; are you utilizing insurance or paying cash? I wouldnt recommend 2020 Family Vision SF to a family member, friend or co-worker. Ive been a resident of Southfield for 30 years and couldnt be more disappointed with 2020 Family Visions customer service.

Great experience. I have a pretty high power in my glasses and they were great at helping me pick frames and lenses that dont look absolutely horrible. I also was having some issues with my contacts and Dr lindahl was very helpful and patient and now Im seeing the best I ever have.

This is by far one of my favorite places to be (even if I don’t have an appointment.) The people in here are some of the friendliest you’ll ever meet. Going here would be one of the best decisions you’ve ever made.

This is a great team. Ive been going to Family Optometry for almost 20 years. The customer service is impeccable and you will definitely receive personal attention and be greeted with a smile. They have always taken care of my eye glass and contact lens needs. Cant imagine going anywhere else.

The staff is very friendly and professional. This is my second year going to this location for my eye exam and glasses. Everyone is very accommodating and helpful. As soon as I walk in Im greeted with a smile and a hello. On my first appointment I knew nothing about glasses and they were patient in helping me find the right pair! Dr. Lindahl is also awesome! Very POOR!!!!!!!!!!!! I Called them for appointment the lady was very rude!!!! I let her know what optical plan I had. She kept telling me I have state insurance I HAVE BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD!!!! NOT THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT BUT A POLICY I PURCHASED AND PAY FOR MONTHLY!!!!! BECAUSE I AM BLACK AND SHE KEPT ON SAYING IS IT STATE INSURANCE NO!!!!!!!!! SO I TOLD HER TO JUST TAKE ME OFF THE APPOINTMENT SHE HAD THE NERVE TO SAY YES THAT WILL BE BETTER!!!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FAMILY OPTOMETRY TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
