Went there to get eyeglasses for the first time. The lady at the door was rude to my mother as soon as we walked in. I got my eyes exam and went through choosing frames, lady told me two weeks which was great because I would be traveling for a month. Today I Couldn’t wait to get my glasses as soon as I landed. Went to the office and sat while the same person i ordered the glasses with, searched all over for my glasses that she never ordered.I am going back on the road tuesday so no chance of getting them. Imagine driving on the freeway and your glasses fall off your face, and you have such bad astigmatism you’ve been in glasses since kindergarten. everything is a hassle trying to see going through airports, trying to work. Now I don’t know when it’ll be over. it’s no big deal to them but for me it’s a new source of anxiety and stress plus headaches and even more trouble focusing. To make it even worse… nevermind just if you have another option, go somewhere else rather than taking a chance. plus you’ll wait forever to be seen.

I really appreciate the friendliness that their front end staff exhibited in getting me an appointment as well as getting me in their system. Her ready knowledge of my benefits and how they would be applied was very helpful. Overall I feel my experience is starting off on a positive note.

The technician did a wonderful job fixing my glasses and was real nice. I had a good friendly chat with her. Its very clean and I feel safe there from Covid. I love this place and am glad I found it!

The wait time was fair, it was a professional and clean facility, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable! My only suggestion for improvement would be the eye wear selection. I would definitely recommend Michigan Eye Institute to a friend.

Been a value customer for over 10 years ! My glasses broke while at work and I wanted to see if I can get some sample contacts until my glasses are repaired . They wouldn’t give me a sample even after telling them I needed them for work because my vision is horrible. Apart of my job is inspecting parts and I can’t accurately do so with my bad vision . Horrible customer service, all they care about is money . Instead of customer experience. After 10 years i feel betrayed . Will be looking for another eye institute

This eye care center is very beautiful and clean I come with my father for his eyes check-up and doctors are very good and explain everything.

I really like my experience at Michigan Eyecare Institution. Dr Cukrowski is really nice, passionate about his work, and seems very knowledgeable. His brother Walter too. They give good advice and everything in terms of the speed and efficiency of service is excellent. Top notch stuff. The ladies at the front desk are helpful too and can tell you what u need to know. Overall good experience.

I was pleased to be in and out so fast. I am a big baby when it comes to someone getting close to my eyes, but they really made me feel at ease. The entire staff was extremely nice and professional. I think I have found a new eye doctor

Scheduler was very rude when trying to make an appointment . I actually stop by with my mother a few months ago to pick up her glasses and thought this place is pretty cool so I had the young lady in the eye glasses dept to look up my insurance she told me when scheduling give social security number so they can look it up and that I had insurance . Jump to today I called to schedule an appointment a VERY rude girl answered the phone and refused to schedule me an appointment because I did not know what kind of vision insurance I have through me place of employment. well it don’t matter I called my regular eye doctor and scheduled an appointment with no information for my health insurance ( which I did not have last eye exam)and was not hassled by the scheduler no social needed nor did she ask me what kind of insurance I had . I tried to give this company money but hey I guess they don’t need it I was actually purchasing two pairs of glasses oh well they loss.

The staff is so friendly. We were early and they took us right back. They took care of William Dunn very wonderfully and took care of our emergency promptly. Thank you so much.

My mom been going here for years. Shes 83 years old with diabetes . Her doctors appointment was at 10 this morning. Shes still sitting in the waiting room. When there late office want to charge a fee. When they come on time they sit for hours. How disrespected can the elderly be. This is sad .how there

Dr Gordon prescribed me eyeglasses and we ordered them at the Optical Plus office. I had to wait two weeks and when I picked them up , I noticed that the glasses didn’t change the vision. Turns out they forgot to put the Prism in te glasses which is the main reason why I am getting glasses in the first place. I am glad I noticed that mistake. Very inconvenient and unprofessional since the glasses are already paid and have to wait another 2 weeks before they send out the new ones with the Prism on it.

The office was easy to find. The staff was very friendly. Very fast service.
