Phone waiting lines are long, but they are MUCH BETTER than Virginia Mason which is the next best option.

I was so impressed with Dr. Farook and her team! Everyone I met was incredibly personable and really accommodating. They helped me set up MyChart and after I submitted additional documents for my provider, I received instant feedback, flexibility with my requests, and the MA even took the time to write me another email just to check in and give me a status update and time frame for the paperwork to be completed.Front Desk staff was super friendly, even at 7:30 in the morning!I am very glad to have established care here and I feel very supported.

The nurses are a little bit cocky, but still friendly. They are a little slow in the emergency room, but overall they do a good job. From what I know there is nothing really impressive about the emergency room. The hospital itself is very good. Like most good hospitals, their attentive, caring, and helpful whenever help is needed. For my own personal experiences in the ER here and on the other floors; I have no complaints and/or grievances about Swedish Ballard. They do a phenomenal job and provide great care.

Super nice on entry, professional and great building. Pretty long wait. Walking Dead in the ER waiting room is not a good idea though.

Dr. Farook was great, but some of the receptionists/nurses have attitude for no reason.

Edit: Called the next morning and explained what happened to general staff. They apologized and immediately gave me the number of someone who could help me. Thank youAfter this, my actual visit to the doctor at Swedish Tallman was OK- reception was great and appt started on time but the doctor rushed me through our first appointment, casually asserting that I was bi-polar over what was probably less than 20 min. - after extensive tests with other physicians I have never heard this and have no history of manic episodes or unusual mood changes. The whole visit happened so fast I cannot fully recall what my doctor looks like.I am not sure I will be back.---Whoever the on-call physician is needs to learn how to not talk to people like theyre beneath them regardless of whether or not they can advise them. I called at about 5am due to mass finger swelling and pain (the pain was so bad it woke me up in the middle of the night). I had just received health insurance after a long pause and already had to wait several weeks to visit my PCP at this office for the first time. Since I had an appointment in the next few days and did not think this required an emergency room visit I called the Swedish Ballard Primary office outside of business hours. The on call physicians tone and manner of handling the call were less than professional. I dont care if you cant help me- theres a way to speak to people that doesnt involve a 7 second pause of no words (this happened three times while asking GENERAL questions) followed by a patronizing tone after someone looking for medical help asks you a question. It was apparent I could not have a real conversation with this person and that they felt I was wasting their time. My experience with Swedish health services has been so polarizing but the poor service is typically with family/primary care offices. I thought changing PCPs from Cherry Hill to Ballard would change the office experience, I was wrong.

Maybe Im just too dumb, but I parked and walked around the building for 15 minutes. Is it within the hospital? Swedish other primary care locations are well marked.

They don’t care for new customers at all, the people who answered the phones were incredibly rude and non helping.
