Extremely rude and unprofessional. Ultrasound tech was very rude and condescending. she did not want to be there and it clearly showed. they lied on my ultrasound report and said i denied something when I clearly didnt. Horrible horrible horrible. only good thing was the radiologist doctor. never go here if i could give it 0 stars i would.

Updated below*** If only my Doctor could have recommended somewhere else to book this special ultrasound appointment. They never answer the phone. I emailed, left voicemails... nothing. About to call my doctor to see if I can just go somewhere else.****update: call in the early morning!! My friend had to go here and she said that was what she did which worked for me as well! Receptionist was nice. Will update when I have my ultrasound.****After the appointment, I am so happy with this place. Our Ultrasound tech was so knowledgeable. I think her name was Susie. My husband and I really enjoyed her, we had an awesome experience. We also got ALL the images and videos from the ultrasound like an hour later which I was totally pleasantly surprised by!! Would recommend this place.

Im always perplexed by the other bad reviews for this place. This is my second Seattle pregnancy and every ultrasound Ive had has been completed here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and Ive never had to wait very long to be called back.

***update. I had my appointment today and the doctors and staff were wonderful. I’m very happy with the service and they assured me the phone situation was unacceptable and will be fixed. I’d definitely go see them again. They were great.I have been calling to schedule an appointment everyday, more than once a day for over a week and no one has answered the phone or called me to schedule. How is this an acceptable way for a medical office to function?

After reading reviews I was nervous to go to this place for my 20 week anatomy scan. But scheduling was easy over the phone, everyone was friendly when we showed up, and we got called in 2 minutes before our scheduled appointment time. The ultrasound tech took her time and explained everything, and the doctor was kind. We got a file of photos and videos(!) of our baby before we even got home. Not a bad experience at all.

Same experience as everyone else. Ive now called 3 times to schedule an appointment and get put on hold. Eventually voicemail kicks in and has me leave a message. I dont want to sit on hold to eventually speak with a machine. If you know your queue is long, then give me voicemail up front. If this clinic cant even get their scheduling systems working, how can I expect them to perform a decent exam? Ill be asking my doctor for another referral.

I have had a fine experience with the techs and ultrasounds themselves. However, scheduling an appointment is extremely difficult. I usually call 2-4 times throughout any given day before Im finally able to reach someone. This last visit, they did not email me my images and Ive been trying to call to speak to someone and the hold music plays until its time to leave a voicemail. You dont get a call back, so I just have to try calling again. Its really difficult to manage while working a full time job. It just ends up feeling like a stressful experience when you deal with them, and you dont feel like a valued patient.

The ultrasound techs are knowledgeable, respectful and professional. But the receptionists (especially Priscilla) are consistently horrible to you over the phone. It is so incredibly difficult to schedule an appointment with them - they resist you every step of the way and they have an attitude like you are their worst inconvenience for making them do their job.

Truly horrible. Getting someone to pick up the phone takes an act of God. When you do get someone, they are usually incompetent. I have called for 5 days in a row attempting to get someone, waiting on hold for 5-10 minutes each time, and leaving voicemails, but NOBODY calls you back. The message from this business is that they clearly do not want your business; I have asked my doctor to refer me elsewhere.

The receptionist was always welcoming, and the technicians are very knowledgeable in their skills, and very welcoming and helpful as well. They made it so my appointments always coincided with my ob appointments. The overall place I say is great

Do not ever go here. Most reviews here complain about the receptionist while saying the ultrasound tech was great, we had problems with both. When trying to schedule an appointment, the receptionist literally told us that she doesnt answer the phone. The receptionist doesnt do her job. When we called to confirm the appointment (after calling and leaving multiple voicemails), she said they have no record of our appointment. She called back later and said they DID find the appointment but they booked it in a closed room and wed need to reschedule. Upon voicing our frustration, the receptionist said shed have to call us back AGAIN to confirm that original appointment still works. She never called back. Her name was Rachelle, watch out for her. After we finally got in to the appointment, the ultrasound tech was short, rude, and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Seeing as this was the first time we were seeing our baby, that was disappointing. Do not ever go here. If you get a referral here, tell your doctor you need to go somewhere else. This place is terrible.

Frustrating scheduling experience. This is the ultrasound group my OB referred me to. The first time I tried to schedule an appointment, I was left on hold for 20 minutes before the front desk asked if they could call me back. Several hours later they called back and we scheduled the appt. I then had a work issue arise - a colleague needed me to work for them on the day that the ultrasound was scheduled (I’m an ER doc). Tried calling from my vacation in Mexico at 8am PST - no answer. Later was left on hold for 8 minutes before hanging up and trying to calling back several times without an answer. This clinic scheduling staff is either understaffed, incompetent or incredibly inefficient.

Staff is very friendly - only complaint is the fact that their fax machine takes a long time to process faxes which is a serious issue when patients can’t schedule an appointment without them being in receipt of the referral .. which gets sent over fax.? It’s 2020 - there are automatic faxing applications available to invest in for the sake of time

Nice people but it is an absolute nightmare trying to schedule an appointment with these people. Be so much easier if your doctor could just have it scheduled for you 🙄

I wish my OB could refer me to somewhere else, this place is terrible, from the receptionist to billing admin, they are so unfriendly on the phone and seem like they must hate their job. They barely pick up the phone everytime I call in to make appointment and also their equipment seem very old with a small screen, Im so dispapointed.

We should have known. I see now that they get terrible reviews, and can understand why we are in the situation we are in.My wife went to have a follow up ultrasound for an IVF pregnancy. When she arrived she was told by their staff that the procedure was covered, that they were in network with our insurance provider, and that we should not have to pay for the procedure.A couple of weeks later we received an invoice telling us to pay $2,900 for the service. Turns out that they are out of network!!! After several calls back and forth we were able to talk to Carolyn who is the person responsible for billing. We stated our situation and said if we had known they were out of network we would never have used their services, as our insurance does cover this procedure. They did offer us a discount of 50%, but we said that becuase they told us that we would not have to pay, and that the service is covered by our insurance, we are not willing to pay for this service, even after the discount. Especially after their representative told us specifically that we would be covered, and that they were in the humana network. We later learned that the person who told us that we would be covered and that they were in network had been fired and was no longer available to confirm the information. It is extremely frustrating to be told one thing, and then get an invoice for close to $3000. Especially when this service is fully covered under our insurance plan.We have notified Seattle Ultrasound that we will file a complaint with the Department of Health for giving us misleading information, and for erroneous billing practices.

This review is about the billing and corporate aspect of the clinic. In terms of the scan itself, everything was fine -- we called, asked some questions about the price and the procedure, were satisfied with the answers, made an appointment and showed up. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the technician skilled and pleasant. Before we made the appointment, we asked -- and confirmed -- how much we would be paying. During the scan, we found out (with great joy) that were having twins. The next day I get a call from the billing department saying they want to charge us double. What? I exclaim with consternation and bewilderment. Yeah, they were not kidding -- they charge double for twins. Does that mean that triplets is triple and quadruples...In any case, I explained to them that even though I completely understand and respect the fact that theyve had to spend more time, effort and energy on account of there being two fetuses to examine, they should have explained their billing process and received our consent before going ahead and charging us more than what was originally quoted. They retorted that we signed a form stating the range of the cost, in which what they wanted to bill us indeed fit. I responded that even if they legally obtained our consent, the discrepancy between what we were told and how they operated was not something Im comfortable with, and that I would like to pay what we were told wed pay. An expectant mother, minutes before an exciting ultrasound scan, would trust what shes told, and not fuss over the fine print. Thats what I would think at least...They continued to offer various discounts so as to lower their fee, but even after having applied their greatest discount the bill still amounted to a couple hundred dollars more than what we were told before the scan, and therefore what we expected to pay.I ended up talking with their office manager, and then with someone in the corporate office in California, but they wouldnt budge, and neither did I -- a stalemate. They raised various arguments to buttress their billing decision, and I firmly stood by my contention that this is a matter of communication: informing their costumers and receiving their consent.A google search taught me that while this is something that is done, it is not necessarily a standard practice, or something thats normalized throughout the medical care system. It seems to be more of a business consideration...In short, caveat emptor: be sure you are aware of what you are going into, and if you are happily surprised with twins (or more) know that they will charge you for an additional scan (even if youre doing it all at the same time) for each additional fetus...
