I came to see Dr Weil after researching the internet on all my symptoms and found that hes expert in Cubital Tunnel Syndrome. Ive been gradually getting weaker on my last two fingers, numbness almost unbearable and starting to lose control of daily easy tasks. After the first visit, I knew immediately that I came to the right place. Dr Weil asked great questions, performed series of tests to test my strength and mobility, referred me to EMG tests, and suggested immediate surgeries to fix my damaged nerves. The staff here spoke highly of him while they were trying to schedule me for surgeries asap. Long story short, 9 months ago I went from not be able to even clip my nail using a nail clipper, to back to rock climbing and living my life to fullest again. Every follow-ups with Dr Weil showed great progress and healing. The facilities, the staff and the skills of Dr Weil has earned my life long gratitude. High recommended!!

I have had exceptional service at OSS. This past visit Dr. Weil did my 6 week follow up visit and then took the time to address an additional issue that was causing problems. I appreciated his time and concern.

Dr. Weil and all of the team at OSS took great care of me. Each decision was made collaboratively, and I was given full information about what was going on at all times. I was treated respectfully and cordially as well. Best of all, my problems were treated and Im well on my way to recovery!

I am so grateful that I found Dr. Weil to perform my endoscopic bilateral carpal tunnel surgery. Having practiced dentistry for 30 years I had been plagued by numbness in both of my hands off and on for years. I had put off the surgery due to the long recovery time interfering with my practice and my own patients. After I retired I had a significant bout of numbness and still fought off the surgery. This time when then numbness returned I decided enough was enough and went online to find a hand surgeon for carpal tunnel surgery with excellent reviews. I had never heard of the possibility of endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery. I promptly made an appointment with Dr. Weil. His friendly and efficient office staff got me in very quickly. He took x-rays the same day and without further testing promptly confirmed my suspicions that I did indeed need the surgery I had anticipated. His office staff worked through my insurance approval, scheduling and all questions I had without any delay. The surgeries were done 2 weeks apart with light sedation and I literally was able to play the piano the day after surgery. I can not believe how well everything went and how amazing the procedure was. My numbness is now gone and I am 3 and 5 weeks out with both of my hands feeling incredible. I have only a slight weakness left that is getting better daily.Part of me wishes I had not delayed so many years in having the surgery, but I know if I had I would not have had Dr. Weil perform the endoscopic surgery and my post healing would have been much longer. If you need carpal tunnel surgery go see Dr. Weil! He is one of only 10% of surgeons who perform endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery!

Dr Weil did the LRTI surgery on my left thumb. I was obviously concerned after reading all the horror stories about this procedure. Dr Weil offered me the removable cast so I went that route and really glad I did. Only went to physical therapy twice. My thumb is no longer painful and functions normally.I highly recommend Dr Weil for this procedure.

Dr. Weil is ‘the best.’ He was very informative about the breaks in my left wrist and what would follow after surgery: physical therapy & exercise at home, and a guesstimate of how long it would take to heal. He is very professional, personable & light hearted. I am healing quickly. The clutz that I am, I’m sure I’ll be seeing him again. I definitely recommend him. The staff that I met are all very pleasant and professional also.

I had numbness in my fingers so went to OSS Wallingford after being referred by my internist. Dr. Wayne Weil was very familiar with my symptoms but had me do nerve tests to confirm I needed carpal tunnel surgery. From the office staff to the operating room staff to the anesthesiologist to Dr. Weil himself, I cant praise them enough. Pre surgery they had advised me in writing what my financial portion would be and gave me explicit before and after surgery instructions. And even though I had caused myself to be overly anxious by mistakenly watching too many YouTube videos, on the day of surgery they were kind and put me at ease. It was quick and turned out exactly as they said it would. It was the easiest process and recovery I have ever experienced. I had knee surgery at OSS a few years ago and their skill and compassion was the same then as it is now. I highly recommend them.

Excellent surgeon. Repaired a Colles fracture of the wrist. 10 days after surgery he removed the splint and said wearing the brace was optional but better to wear it less. I feel this really was a help toward my recovery, in regaining flexibility and strength in my wrist. The entire experience was A+. Could not be happier.

My husband finally saw a specialist for his wrist. Turns out that he had a unusual fracture of a bone in the wrist. A fracture that no other provider found. Because the injury happened over 6 months prior- it was determined to be a non union fracture that required a complicated surgery. Dr Weil was able to preform the surgery arthroscopically. In days he had less pain than prior to the surgery. The healing is going very well. Everyone from office staff to Dr Weil treated him with respect and care.

I was miserable when I first broke my hand but Dr. Weil ensured that not only would be surgery be smooth but Id be back to normal in no time. Hand therapy was amazing and had me moving my hand faster than I thought possible. I was back to my workout routine in NO time. IT wasnt until someone asked me a few months later how is your hand? can you do everything? that I realized everything was PERFECT and it was like it never happened!!!!

Dr. Weil performed and endoscopic carpal tunnel repair on my left hand. I had had a conventional open surgery 4 years ago on my right hand. This experience was amazingly better than my previous one. At just 2 weeks after surgery I am using my left hand and wrist for nearly everything with practically no pain ( I only experience minor pain when I press on the area of the surgery). I would highly recommend Dr Weil and this type of surgery.

I had a great experience with Dr. Weil. He listened and was honest and reassuring. My only concern was that his instructions about my immediate post op activities were very different than the instructions from the physical therapist. I found that confusing. Despite that my thumb is healing well. Thank you!

After dealing with bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome for over 9 years, I finally decided I needed to get it taken care of. When I read online that there was an endoscopic carpal tunnel release procedure that was less invasive (small slit in the wrist, rather than a cut down the palm) than open release surgery, with a quicker recovery time, I was on the search for a doctor in the Seattle area that could perform it! Only a few surgeons in this area do--and I quickly settled on Dr. Weil based on other reviews/ratings. I had my first surgery back in June, and the whole thing went off without a hitch! He meets with you right before the surgery to make sure you know what to expect, and calms any nerves. The whole procedure seems like it takes just a few minutes for him. The carpal tunnel symptoms were immediately relieved, and I could tell when my hand didnt fall asleep that first night. The pain is very minimal--I didnt even need any kind of narcotics, and only took ibuprofen once the next day. Had surgery on a Thursday--and was back to work the following Monday. After 2 months, my hand was completely back to normal with no residual pain from the surgery in the incision and palm area.I went back at the beginning of October to have my other wrist done, and I was just as pleased with that experience. Its been a month now, and I can pretty much use that hand normally--but the incision site is still a little tender. I expect it to be completely healed within the next month, just as my first hand was. Im so happy with Dr. Weils skill of performing endoscopic surgery, and saving me from unnecessary down time and recovery time with the old skill of open release surgery. This is definitely the way to go when considering surgery for your carpal tunnel pain.I also have to take a second to highly praise the whole surgical team--from the nurse that helps you throughout the surgery (I cant remember the name of mine, but it was a male--who I was lucky enough to have help me both times! He is a great person, and so calming and reassuring), the anesthesiologist (more props to Ben!)--who sets you up with some very nice medication to keep you relaxed and he even checked in on me before heading out for the day (I was the last patient of the day) to make sure I was feeling ok, and the discharge nurses--who take great care of you post-op, even wheeling you out to your car once you are all set to go home. Total time at the surgical center was 2.5-3 hours, from the time I walked in the door until discharge home. Easy procedure. This surgical center has top notch clinicians, and I couldnt be happier with Dr. Weil as my surgeon.Ive included pictures of my surgical sites--the right hand 4.5 months post-op, and the left hand 1 month post-op. The scar on the right hand in the wrist is hardly noticeable.

Dr Weil did a great job explaining what was wrong, how it could be fixed, consequences of opting out. The process of having the surgery done was very easy and straight forward. Recovery went well. I am glad I had it done.
