I wish I could give a better review, but its better if Im honest. You see, I visited this clinic last year in June and July. I came in for a scalp evaluation, and not only was this doctor not thorough, but he didnt want to do any evaluations. As I explained the flakes in my hair he passed it off as dandruff even through I dont have typical signs of dandruff. Also, he said people like you have to deal with this, its just something in your genes. He just kept giving me vague advice that made no sense for my circumstance and to this day as I am writing this review. Nothing works. So, this was not only a waste of my time, but my means as well. The thing most disturbing to my provider is that this clinic has NOT written any notes regarding my visit.

I did not have a good experience with Dr Markus. I waited 1-2 months for my appointment, and when I was seen, it was clear that he didn’t want to help narrow down the cause of my issue with me or listen to the scenarios of when it happened. He already has his mind set on it’s impossible to find the cause of it. I was seen for about 5 minutes and got charged over $100 for it. If you already know it’s impossible to find the cause of these issues, why even accept appointment like this? Worst $100 I’ve ever spent

Plenty of parking. Easy to locate.I was greeted politely in the office area and seen at my scheduled time.The P.A. that saw me, Taj, handled my concern and then provided a further skin exam to check for any questionable spots. She was friendly and efficient.

I had to wait a long time for the first appointment but it is definitely worth it. I was nervous and little worried for my first appointment with Dr. Markus. I had a full body mole exam and it is usually a little stressful and uncomfortable. He was very professional and friendly. He answered all my questions and made the whole experience easy. I would definitely recommend him and the clinic. I wish all doctors are friendly and assuring like him. Thank you Dr.Markus and his team!

I unfortunately did not have a good experience with Dr. Taj. I called a month ahead to schedule an appt for hair loss. I asked if this was an issue one of the doctors specialized in and the receptionist told me Dr. Taj did. I was thankful for this and that I could get scheduled quickly. I showed up for my appt on time and waited half an hour to be seen. Dr. Taj apologized which was nice, but then acted as if she has no time for me and only allocated 5 minutes for my appt. I told her my scalp was itchy and I had experienced a recent major decrease in volume postpartum, but that I have had hair loss for 15 years. She briefly looked at my scalp and said I had androgenic alopecia. She informed me I could take a drug to slow my hair loss, but did not go over side effects until I directly asked her about them. One of the side effects includes low blood pressure, which I already have, so it seems like it would have been unsafe for me to take the medication. In addition I had to inform her I am still nursing my baby (it seemed as if she had not read my intake paperwork). It would have been dangerous for me to take this medication while nursing, so I am happy I brought this up to her. Long story short I felt there was no time taken for my assessment, she was not prepared for my appt, and was dismissive of my issue. I am thankful I could advocate for myself but feel I did not get an adequate assessment. I will be searching for another dermatologist.

Easy access location and parking. Friendly and efficient staff. Great experience overall.

Good just felt uncomfortable having to pull down my pants for the Dr to exam my rash symptoms with a woman assistant in the exam room.

I have been going to Westside Dermatology for the last 10yrs or so and it’s always been a great experience. Dr Arntzen has always been amazing. They are always able to accommodate me when an “urgent” issue comes up. I am very appreciative of the doctors and staff there!

It is always a pleasant experience. Ive been greeted warmly and with respect. Ive been seeing Dr Arntzen for years. Ive always felt that she is more than a doctor. Every appointment she inquires about my well being as well as that of my family. Even though it is a two hour drive each way.. It is well worth it!!

I love getting facials/peels from Kaitlyn. I have really sensitive skin and she knows exactly what products are right for me and what kind of facials I need for my skin. Free 15 minute consultation. It will be the best 15 minutes you ever spent. And this, unlike magazine ads, is not the face of a 20, 30,40,50 well leave it there. This is the place to go for all your dermatology needs.

I appreciated the convenience of online tele consultation. I have a small child and not having to wait in a waiting room was a BIG plus. Log on was little challenging but I was able to troubleshoot. I could see how people not comfortable with computers might struggle to log on. Please keep the tele therapy option open even after quarantine is over.I found the consultation to be good. Dr listened, was knowledgable and created a solid plan of care.

As usual, a great experience. Ive been going to see Kelly Artnzen for several years and she always hasbeen generous with her time to take care of any concerns and answer question. She is a true professional.

Dr. Marcus was so kind to fit me in early as I was experiencing severe anxiety. His bedside manner was comforting and gentle. He performed a biopsy and I didn’t feel a thing. Highly recommend Westside Dermatology to anyone.

Dr. Kelly Arntzen is an excellent dermatologist. My husband and I have been seeing her for many years and we both feel that we are in the best of hands.

My wife and I as well as family members and friends have been going to see Dr. Arntzen at Westside Dermatology for several years. Several of us have been diagnosed with various skin irregularities by Dr. Arntzen through her meticulous screening process. Yesterday she found one of these irregularities on me that required biopsy. Though I dont have the results at this time I am thankful that she located a potential malignancy.Thank Dr. Arntzen!

Dr. Markus was very courteous and used all the safety precautions i wanted. He explained everything he was going to do and asked if i had any questions. I checked in and was seen very promptly. I would recommend this clinic to anyone seeking dermatology services.

They would take their time to answer any questions that you might have for them.They would try there best to give you a schedule that would work for you. I was seen within a few minutes of arriving and received competent services. I needed a skin biopsy which was done smoothly and without pain. I highly recommend the services of Dr. Kelly Arntzen.

Dr. Markus listened, asked the right questions, made his assessment and recommended a treatment plan that seemed reasonable and low key. I left optimistic it will alleviate the symptoms and buoyed by his warm demeanor.

The staff is nice, Dr Taj was a good listener; however, I don’t think these offices specialize in hair loss, the reason of my consultation. I went there expecting an office equipped to check the scalp, but all the doctor did was to vaguely look between my hair while I was seating under a simple examination room’s lighting. I went there expecting a close check up of my follicles, but theses offices are not equipped to specifically revise the scalp.

Growing up in California, before sunscreen, I visit Dr. Arntzen annually for a full check for peace of mind. Each time, I leave relieved. All my questions and concerns are addressed in an easy-to-understand way—medical jargon made simple, and any spots of concern attended to. Plus, Dr. Arntzen is a very kind, gracious person who puts you at ease. Loyal customer for sure!

I came to Westside Dermatology and I saw Taj Rock, PA-C for a skin issue. She was awesome and my issue was taken care of 😊Since then I signed up for monthly Medical Facials - includes superficial chemical peel, dermaplaning, micro dermabrasion and LED Light Therapy.Every Facial session have been perfect and my skin loves it!I can’t thank these girls enough for making me and my face happy!

I have been a patient for many years and Dr. Taj is my doctor. Two years ago we moved from W. Seattle to Port Orchard. I will continue to make the trip to W Seattle as long as she is working at Westside Dermatology. I see Taj every 3 months for ongoing problems with my skin damage. She is the best and have nothing but great things to say regarding her care. Wish I could give her more than 5 stars! If she were to leave I would find a doctor in my neighborhood.

I went to Dr Arntzen because I had a skin condition that appeared as dark discoloration in a kind of geometric pattern. I was visited by the attending nurse who looked at it and went to describe the appearance to Dr Arntzen. The attending nurse came back and said Dr. Arntzen didnt know what it was and we need to do a biopsy.. take a 3/8 inch piece of flesh and then sew it up. I felt uncomfortable. I went to my Internal medicine doctor. He said, Oh yeah, thats Erythema Ab Igne. Itll clear up in 6-12 months on its own.Dr Arntzen never even saw the condition and recommended an very invasive procedure. CAVEAT EMPTOR - LET THE BUYER BEWARE.

I love this place. Dr. Arntzen is a doll and so is the whole staff. I have been going to her for years and will continue.

These people dont answer their phone, dont respond to voicemail messages or texts or emails.Tried to reach them for 5 days straight with no results.Who runs a business like this? What if I were a patient with an actual emergency?This business must have the most incompetent and irresponsible front office staff known to mankind.I advise you stay away. Something is very definitely wrong with this business.

Fast appointment; efficient; empathetic.

I have been going here for 16 years. I love Dr. Arntzen, but she is so popular, her appointments schedule is pretty far into the future. Lately I have been seeing Dr. Markus Ramsey. He is newer to Westside Derm, but I wanted to share that he really went above and beyond to make sure my insurance paid for my procedure. I got new insurance and completely forgot to get a pre-approval. After the appointment, I realized this as I checked out. They said they would submit it and I thought it wouldnt be a problem because all the other insurance companies I have had over the past 2 decades have covered it. The only thing I was worried about was that I got the procedure before the approval. Well, to make a long story short, my insurance was very difficult and tried 3 or 4 times to reject the procedure and any future procedure saying it wasnt medically necessary. It would have been really easy for him to say its my fault for not getting pre approval or just have said sorry, they rejected it, but Dr. Markus continued to pursue it over the the next couple months. He was able to get them to cover that procedure and future procedures. I am so grateful for his care for this matter and persistence with the insurance company. This shows that he truly cares about his patients.

Always a pleasant visit. Very professional and experienced staff.However, on last appointment... Receptionist was not the most friendly. Acted as if my being no more than 5 minutes late was a colossal problem and huge inconvenience to her. Pretty unreasonable behavior. This experience lost the business a star.Health care practitioners rock though!

I have been going to Westside Dermatology for a year now for my keloid condition and I have always been very happy with my experiences. I have seen several dermatologists for my condition before Dr. Markus. During our first appointment, he discussed a new treatment that I had not had previously and I am happy to say that my keloids are almost completely flat thanks to his approach. He is a very knowledgeable, extremely approachable and a caring doctor. Angela is also a wonderful nurse at the clinic and I adore seeing her as well. Highly recommend this clinic for any of your dermatology needs.

Nice office the receptionist was very nice. I went there with the hope of being helped, but got shut down. I have psoriasis on my foot and the physician assistant did not want to help me. Instead she referred me out and gave me a medication that I said it would not work and she did not listen. Now they will bill my insurance for a whole hour and i was in there for 15 to twenty mins.

Her office is aneasy visit with the free parking, and her front desk staff is busy but very friendly. This clinic seems very clean and professional. Don’t be fooled! I was permanently scarred by this clinic. I tried to contact the owner in person, by phone and by email. She refuses to talk to me, maybe because she expects a lawsuit. I never even asked for a refund, I just wanted an explanation and/or apology of how this could of happened… Shocked to see how many great reviews they have. My experience was so bad I wrote my first review.

Kelli Arntzen MD is a great dermatologist. She is very thorough and knowledgeable, and takes interest in you personally. She is busy and it can take some time to get an appointment but, in my opinion, the wait is well worth it.

The whole staff was pleasant and courteous throughout the visit. We were in and out of the office in a reasonable time and Dr Marcus gave good information and treatment plan!!

My experience over the years is - they won’t return phone calls or emails. I showed up to my appointment twice to find that they forgot to order the necessary prescription for the appointment so I had to just go home. It can take 6 months to get an appointment because they forget to call you back. The office staff is not held accountable but must be costing the practice a lot of lost business. The doctors seem fine but unaware or not concerned about the short-coming of the staff. I’ve reached out to Brent, the office manager, and heard nothing back.

I visited Westside after seeing an ad for the trusculpt body contouring machine. After doing some research I felt that trusculpt was a better option for fat removal than others and I wasnt disappointed. Janelle treated me and I am seeing fantastic results on my lower abdomen. Well worth the cost. The practice was also very professional and convenient to get to.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Arntzen for years. Recently I found an area on my face that was suspicious and so I called to be seen. Dr. Arntzen was booked, but they were able to get me in to see someone else in just a couple days. It turned out to be nothing, but I was so grateful that they were able to get me in to see someone so quickly. Great staff, convenient location, wonderful service.

Dr. Sung was thorough and professional. I found her demeanor kind and comforting. She was clear and made sure I understod my diagnosis and how we would proceed. I would highly recommend her. The staff was wonderful and easy to communicate with.

Wow I had a marvelous experience. I had 3 separate issues and each one was successfully addressed with very good referrals for products that are available at Bartells Drug store with very little expense.

I have been going to Westside for over 10 years now. I do annual check ups with Dr. Arntzen. Dr. Arntzen is very practical and engaging like the rest of her staff. I am very confident in her ability to diagnose, treat, and advise myself and other patients.Also, the parking options at the facility are nice: 2 full lots to choose from and street parking if the area is really busy.

Excellent practice with great doctors and professionalism throughout. As they do provide very high medical care, sometimes they can be booked out for a few months, which is to be expected from a good medical practice. However, Dr. Arntzen and other MDs at the practice do their best to ensure time slots are open for critical time sensitive appointments.

Ive had consistently good experiences at Westside Derm over the years, and now that Im being treated by Dr. Krejci my visits are consistently great! She is smart, through and kind. I especially appreciate her incremental approach. Ive had a few biopsies over the years, they take a long time to heal. Recently she gave me some cream rather than do a biopsy on a suspicious spot and followed-up with me to see how I was doing. It cleared up and now I dont need the biopsy. Im so glad shes here!
