When I say I have tried so many places for my skin and hair, it would be an understatement. But I am so happy to find this place! Diane is the only one I trust when it comes to my skin and now that I am on my laser hair removal journey, I am happy to know she is here. Some lasers have made my skin break out after treatments and that was annoying. The laser used on my face at Spectrum had no side effects and is super effective on my hair. Im excited to continue to use the laser they offer and see even more amazing results!

Had a pretty bad experience scheduling an appointment and getting care here. TLDR: They rescheduled my appointment at the last minute. When I arrived, I arrived a minute late to my appointment and the staff told me the doctor could no longer see me.Pay attention to the other negative reviews about the admin because I thought they were flukes, but now I wish I’d believed them.I scheduled an appointment a month and a half ago. They call me *the day before* to say they have to reschedule the appointment. New appointment time is at 9:15 so I reschedule my own work meeting in order to accommodate. I arrive and am frantically trying to find parking for over 15 minutes - parking in this area is crazy. Finally, I get to the front desk at 9:16 and they say the doctor can no longer see me since I’m a minute late. They say their policy is generally to give patients 10 mins grace period but because I’m a new patient I needed to arrive early to fill out my forms. I finished filling out my forms at 9:21 and they say they have to reschedule me to later in the day, which I cannot make because I have rearranged my own schedule in order to accommodate their last minute rescheduling of my appointment.Note, they make you pay for your own parking (unlike the other medical offices here) so be prepared to spend extra time and money doing that.Just sharing my honest experience

I am not a huge fan of going to the doctor and have putting off getting a skin check for years. Dr Zook and her staff were pleasant, knowledgeable, give a through exam of all my skin and answered all my many questions about skin stuff. Thank you to the whole team!

Tim is a great provider and their staff is generally friendly. It pains me to write this review because in spite of their great medical team they have such poorly managed admin issues - including a letter I received about an already paid bill they are planning to send to collections. I would highly recommend you find another dermatologist, not because they aren’t good, but because they are too unorganized and just generally not very responsive. I am planning to also tell every one of my friends that I recommended (and I’ve been really referring folks!) to switch - it’s sad that it’s come to this.I don’t know if it’s their staff or some company they contract out to, but I’ve had several issues:1.) Called them in the morning once to ask them to refill a prescription that I needed urgently and despite promising me they were going to send it in, every time I called they still did nothing and I had to go to another provider to get it faster. Their providers didn’t even know that the prescription request was sent already.2.) Despite promising me that my bill is paid already, and me having copies of receipts and confirmation over the phone, I received several bills and the latest one with a threat of this being sent to collections. How can I trust them when they told me several times it’s paid and then I still get hit with a collections notice?

Much like the review from the others, Dr. Zook is a fantastic Doctor to visit but the staff is sub-par.I was prescribed medication to which I was told when I went to the pharmacist that it needed to be approved by the doctor?! My doctor prescribed it! Either way, I understand the nuances of the insurance world and had to wait two days to call Spectrum because they we closed on Saturdays.Called that following Monday and talked to a staff member that stated they we escalating it to the employee that handles the approval of the prescriptions and that they would call me back. Come Friday I call the office since I did not receive a phone call and they stated the same thing. When I asked to talk to the employee she was conveniently unavailable. One week later, I called same response.Spectrum needs to improve the operations of their staff especially when it comes to prescription issues to help with patient ailments.

It’s been really hard to find a good dermatologist in Seattle since moving here and I really felt taken care of, helped, and understood when I was here. Highly recommend.

Ive been seeing Dr. Zook for several years and she does a great job with my skin checks, shes a clear communicator and always explains the options and why shes recommending something. I recently had an urgent issue come up and the office staff was super helpful in getting me in last-minute; it was my first time seeing Tim and hes just as great as Dr. Zook, he answered all my questions thoughtfully and helped me come up with a clear treatment plan. The clinic itself is bright and welcoming and I always feel comfortable there.

Changing my 1 start review to 3 stars since the paper work to get my time-sensitive medication finally got processed (though it did take 3 months and Ive had to call in so many times.)Honestly dont think it would have gotten processed at all without Dianes help. She went the extra mile to ping the right people multiple times and was the only one who actually called me back to give me status updates. Thanks Diane.

I fly in from Palm Springs , California to see Dr. Zook . I trust her completely with all aspects of my dermatological health and well being. Dr. Zook is clear, direct and factual when answering any and all questions I have. Beyond the skin care and screenings , Dr. Zook is the only person I trust with any cosmetic enhancements as well. As long as she practices and as long as I need her care I will be flying to see her a couple times a year.

This is the worst dermatologist I have ever been to. Dr. Zook took me back 50 minutes late for my appointment, and then gave me the least thorough and quickest skin check of my life despite me explaining to both her and the nurse that I have a family history of melanoma and a personal history of multiple precancerous moles. I have been getting skin checks twice a year since I was 15 and never have I been less confident in a dermatologists skill or empathy for a patient. I was then billed 200 dollars for my 10 minute visit. Luckily I contacted the office to question it and they told me they typed in my insurance information wrong and would rebill. I then got a letter from their billing department a week after this threatening to send my bill to collections. When I called the billing department they told me they had the wrong insurance ID, the wrong name on the policy, and they had me down as a dependent (I am 30 years old and have not been on anyone elses insurance for 5 years). They couldnt tell me why this mistake was made. Please seek care elsewhere.

Hands down Dr young is amazing! I’ve had bad dermatitis on my lower lip for years and no one has been able to figure out the cause. She did. She gave great advice on healthy life choices and how to avoid triggers for my skin. I now have a full understanding of what I am allergic too and how I can live itch free. The office is clean and well kept, located conveniently right downtown Seattle. All the staff were very sweet and one team member even met me downstairs to let me in since I requested a super early appointment, thanks Adam! Thanks Dr Young! 5/5 stars. Will recommends to family and friends!

Dr. Zook was very thorough and answered all of my questions patiently. Wait time was normal for a drs. office.

The office is wonderful. Dr. Zook is great. However, I was told my prescription would be called in and ready day of and 3 days later still no prescription at the pharmacy. I have attempted to call the office 30 times and no one EVER picks up. I left 2 messages to remind them about my prescription and no call back or actions were taken. I am baffled by how unprofessional this is! My appointment and service is worth nothing if I don’t receive the medication and cant get in touch with the office for a follow up!

I see Dr. Young and she’s awesome! She has improved my skin a lot. The office staff is awesome as well. I feel comfortable going there and always receive excellent care. I have had a few hiccups with understanding my insurance and the staff is understanding. Thank you Dr. Young!

Complete and unacceptable lack of transparency regarding financials. Also found the skin exam to not be detailed and precise enough. The doctor is clearly on a rush and does not have time to listen to your questions or concerns.

The wait is more than 20 min and seeing the doctor is less than 10 min.1. She talks way more than she wanted to listen. She interrupts me every time I talk. Maybe she “knows everything”.2. She did not do an exam of my skin, generalized the skin problems but everyone’s condition is different.3. She tried to sell off a lot of products without giving much details or explanations. “That is a very popular cream that lots of dermatologist prescribe. “ also schedule follow up visits when the first one is obviously already not helping anything. “Just go schedule a follow up visit in 8 weeks. “4. She is not really patient when talking, she talks really fast. And did not give me much time to speak and ask questions.5. I feel the visit is short and not helpful. A waste of money and time. Will not suggest this place.

Dr. Zook is amazing. Clinic has spa-like atmosphere. Front desk staff can be unfriendly and getting itemized invoice for insurance can take 2-4 days.

My appointment with Dr. Young was great, but EVERY SINGLE experience Ive had since then has been nothing short of atrocious. Want a prescription refilled on time? Forget it. Every.single.refill has taken 3+ weeks, and only after MULTIPLE calls from both myself and my pharmacy. Dont even get me started on the hoops Ive had to jump through to continue medication after changing insurance providers. Working with Dr. Youngs office has truly been a nightmare.

The team is friendly and knowledgeable about dermatology. They try to run on too tight of a schedule, resulting in every appointment starting at least 15 minutes late. I know they have a business to run, but how late they are shows a lack of respect for their customers.

This is an office where you can trust your health with. Dr. Young is well knowledged, careful and compassionate. She takes the time to diagnose and explains in details. I was desperate to find an office that I could trust after a bad experience in a nearby dermatology clinic.At Spectrum you are evaluated and treated by the dermatologists and not physician assistants like in some other offices (PAs have less training and education).The front desk is polite and professional. The medical assistants are friendly and caring. Kudos to both doctors and the team for creating such a great office with high standard patient care.

I highly recommend Dr. Young and have referred many friends and family to her. I had a skin condition and allergies that were dismissed by another dermatologist. Dr. Young listened to my concerns and and found that I serious condition. She is professional, thorough and takes her time with her patients.

Dr. Young is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable regarding the many facets of dermatology and medicine in general.

Dr. Young diagnosed my acne as hormonal during my first visit. 8 weeks later, after being prescribed 5 different medications, there was little to no progress. Her suggestion was Accutane. I had explained during my first visit that I had done the Accutane regime twice before and the acne always returns after a few months. I also experienced an allergic reaction to the medication she prescribed between the first and second visit. On the second visit, she told me to stop taking one of the medications that I think she believed caused the reaction. However, I had the same reaction again after the second visit. If your interested in not being treated and being prescribed expensive drugs with no results, Dr. Young is your girl.
