As always Elsa provides wonderful care and knowledge whether it’s a facial, laser procedure or lash and brow tint. Today my hydra facial was amazing! Thank you!

I have a tattoo that I got on my ankle when I was in my early 20s and I only really liked it for a hot minute. :) I went to Seattle Skin and Laser for their tattoo removal process. My practitioner, Katy Turville, LE, was very kind, knowledgeable, and a wonderful listener. I felt taken care of and knew I was in good hands. Ill probably need a few more treatments to completely erase this tattoo (it fades more over time), but it has already faded a lot. I look forward to visiting Seattle Skin & Laser again, and having Katy take care of me.

Ive had the best experiences with Seattle Skin & Laser. For the past few years, I have been flying from Alaska to Seattle for tattoo laser removal treatments. Each appointment/session they are professional, detailed with communication, sanitary, and always make me feel as comfortable as possible. Their procedures and equipment they utilize are some of the best and are up to the highest standard in the industry. I appreciate all staff at Seattle Skin & Laser. Your consistent and attentive in office care, after care, and highly satisfactory results are what makes me continue choosing you for all laser and dermatological needs. Thank you!

Updating because the office manager contacted me about my bad experience. She was very nice, listened to my concerns and refunded me for the office visit charge. I really appreciate seeing that they care enough to reach out and try to make it right.

I requested an appointment to establish care online, was called next day for additional info to confirm.I let them know that as I’ve just started a new job my insurance isn’t active until the first of the month (appointment was scheduled for the 22nd) so I don’t yet have my member ID number. The staff member’s tone shifted and they became very short with me and told me they could not schedule an appointment until my insurance was active and I would have to call back in 2 weeks to then schedule a time.I asked if it was possible keep my requested appointment if they saved it as private/out of pocket pay, and I would call and update my insurance info on the 1st when I received my plan number (I also provided the plan name which is an in network plan for the provider, and is how I found the office to begin with), adding that if that wasn’t possible I could still call back, but I wanted to check if this option would work with their system in the meantime. They were quiet for an extended pause, and finally said “yeah fine.” I thanked them for their time and said I appreciated their effort in helping me keep this appointment. They said “uh-huh” and abruptly hung up the phone. This was obviously a very rude and jarring interaction, but I’ve also worked in healthcare admin for a number of years so I understand frustration with clients. More than that it struck me as classist, elitist, and frankly just inaccurate, definitely not the kind of environment I’m looking for in a healthcare provider. Solely because of the negative feeling I got from this interaction I canceled my appointment and have established care with a different in network provider.

Extremely rushed 5 minute visit (probably because they were running behind). I was interrupted many times and could not get a question out without being told it would need to be a different sort of visit. I got nothing out of my appointment but them requesting I come back for more appointments. Total waste of my time to drive out there. Dr Gustafson bulldozed the conversation and did not listen to my questions. It was supposed to be a 20 minute consultation and I dont think I was with the Dr. more than 5 minutes.

Super disappointed. I called and asked if Care Credit was accepted before making my appointment. I was transferred several times and was told they did and they’d see me on my scheduled day. I get there today for my appointment after leaving work early to find out that they do not accept it. That’s frustrating. They wasted my time after I checked to make sure twice, because some places do not. They obviously have no sense of organization at this establishment.

I have seen Dr. Spoonemore at Seattle Skin and Laser for at least 6 years now. She has helped me with all the standard “bad skin” stuff, none of which is fun to publicly admit on a google review! Suffice to say, I have bad skin, and she has yet to make me feel weird about it or even act impressed by the many gross things she’s removed from the strangest places on my body... Her personality is great fun, and that makes the whole experience not so awful. Once you trust a person to take a laser/scalpel/needle/liquid nitro to your body, is there really anything you cannot discuss? Go there, see her, and she will fix your weird skin problem.

I went in for my very first consult and so I was aware of the $75 fee as this was noted on their website. I met Dr. Gustafson and the very first thing she mentioned as she walks in the door is, “just so you know it’s a $75 dollar fee for this consult.” I thought that was odd. Yes. I’m aware of the fee, it’s on your website. But I found it funny that a doctor would discuss payment/billing with a patient. It was rude and unprofessional. In addition to that at the end of my appointment she emphasized TWICE to go to the front and pay.I’m not returning. Highly do not recommend.

I would highly recommend Seattle Skin and Laser to my friends and family. The staff is friendly and timely. I had a miraDry treatment done here for my bothersome underarm sweating and I am so glad I did it! It was the best decision I ever made. I no longer have these huge sweat rings in my armpits. I can now wear colored shirts with confidence and not feel embarrassed about it. I would recommend anyone who is bothered by underarm sweat to schedule a consultation at Seattle Skin and Laser. You wont regret it! I have also seen the estheticians at the Skincare clinic in Edmonds for a few different services. They are so friendly and knowledgeable and I love how they customize the service for my sensitive skin type. Thank you Seattle Skin and Laser!

I have struggled with underarm sweat most of my life and after my consultation with Joanie it was a no-brainer to do a miraDry treatment! She was the first provider in Washington to do these treatments and her level of knowledge and expertise definitely shows throughout the entire process! I couldn’t be happier with my experience from the consultation to the treatment she made sure I was comfortable and understood what was going on. I HIGHLY recommend Joanie and Seattle Skin and Laser for this treatment!

Let me start off by saying DO NOT dare to silence me. They have deleted my earlier reviews to keep up appearances. You know the best way to keep up experiences? By doing the right thing! One of my boys, Garrick, had a nasty hairy problem. He was the only one in my troop who wasn’t prim and perfect, so he felt extremely self-conscious. I took him to Seattle Skin and Laser because I had heard terrible things and I wanted to see for myself. The rumors were true. When he came out of the office, he was in tears, eyes blotchy. I asked him what had happened and he told me the smell in the office had been so awful his eyes began to water and he ended up in tears. He said that when Dr. Spoonemore came close, he could smell something horribly putrid and was shocked no one else had said anything. As I waved goodbye to the receptionist, I heard Garrick gag. The second we left the office, he grabbed a poppy bag and went BLEH! We tossed the waste into the waste backet and BOUNCED, never looking back. For the next week, Garrick slept with an air-freshener plugged in his nose. He was suffering from paranoia, saying everything smelled like the putrid stench of this place. Countless times he made us take multiple showers. He was clearly disturbed, so I have reason to believe the smell was bad.If you are going to charge people for your services, don’t make it impossible to withstand your smell! Dr. Spoonemore, you are a *doctor*. I think you have the ability to freshen up from time to time or to stop using that stinky perfume. It was truly terrifying.

Dr. Spoonemore was fantastic! I mistakenly showed up at 4:30 for a 3:30 appointment. The front desk was very kind about it and checked with the Dr. to see if she could stay to see me. She not only stayed but gave me a full hour. She did a full check and removed two spots that were concerning. I like her better safe than sorry attitude. She answered all of my concerns and I felt I was in good, caring hands.

This is a great clinic. I have been here for laser tattoo removal a few times. I have gone to a couple other places for laser tattoo removal and have found this place had cheaper pricing with the same quality results. I also didnt feel pressured at the consultation as I have with other clinics. I will keep going here.

This review is about the cosmetic office in Edmonds. I have seen Julie twice; once for a facial (not scary) and, most recently, for micro needling (kind of scary!) Julie is very patient, answering all questions and explaining every step she takes. Its too soon to see the results of the first session but I have no doubt that I will be happy. The reception staff is also great regarding appointments and general questions about specials and promotions. Thanks Julie and staff! (PS, Micro needling is not as scary as it sounds!)

I have a compromised immune system which they know about, it is half of the reason I have been going to them. Despite this, they asked me to physically come into their offices because I was supposed to get an allergy test. Upon arriving, they let me know that no, this was just a routine check-in; the type I have been doing via their telehealth services and phone calls. There was nothing new in the visit, no new recommendations or new medications, no allergy test, just a waste of my time, money, and putting me at risk in their offices for no good reason. Not going back.

Last year I had some sebaceous hyperplasia spots removed from the clinic and everything was fine. I returned a year after to have some more removed, but the practitioner went a bit too deep and left me with some significant scars. I was pretty upset as I was better off with the spots. I called the clinic after a few months and they had me come in and Dr. Lawler is working with me to have the scars repaired. It will take some time, but I really appreciate their understanding and willingness to get my skin back to normal. I think they are a pretty good clinic and the staff are very welcoming and warm. I would recommend this clinic for any skin care needs.

Julie W, at the Edmonds location, is an absolute professional! I have been going to her for years for facials, peels and micro-needling and have amazing results. She will make suggestions for treatment options, but does not pressure you to do them. Recently, my daughter consulted with her on the Tru Sculpt procedure and was immediately put at ease with Julies professional manner on the very sensitive subject of body image and desires. Highly recommend her services.

Seattle Skin and Laser is the absolute best skin care clinic around! I moved to Seattle from the east coast 5 years ago with pretty bad acne and had finally had enough. I was recommended to Seattle Skin And Laser to go see Elsa (Master Aesthetician) and get an evaluation, treatment, and to get on a regular regimen of professional at home skin care products as well as 1x monthly treatments with Elsa. Within just a few months, my facial acne was completely gone and my face looked fresh and better than I had ever seen it before. I cannot tell you how many compliments I still receive. For anyone looking to improve their acne, or just get on a regular skin care treatment regimen to protect your skin and youth, I definitely recommend going to see Elsa and Seattle Skin and Laser. They also offer a procedure called microneedling which changed my skin ever since. I did one session a month for 6 months, 6 months total. It leaves your skin so youthful, glowing, healthy, and looks like youve shaved 10 or more years off your lifeYou can combine it with laser genesis for an even better and longer lasting effect. I havent done it yet but thats next!Thank you so much Seattle Skin and Laser and Elsa for changing my skin and life!
