Angelo is a hair guru! I’ve been seeing him for years and recommend everyone I know to him.Over the years, I’ve seen him just for a haircut and strength treatments before my wedding, turning platinum blonde from dark brown (natural), and recently lavender. Every time we do something new he kills it and gets it exactly how you want.Angelo knows his stuff and will happily explain the science behind the whole process if you’re curious or wondering why certain things happen. I highly recommend him for anything you’re in need of.

I cheated on my regular hairdresser because of circumstances not in my control. I was wary of a walk-in and picked Sola salons primarily for convenience. There were some good reviews on Angelo Terracciano, so I took the chance. He cut my hair for exactly the look I wanted and preserved the length I desired. I also did some colour and straightening and everything was bang-on. Not cheap, alas, but that is par for the course and I walked away pleased. Have gotten compliments (though I was sorely in need of a refresh, so not surprising). If I were to switch from my regular then Angelo would definitely be a consideration. No hygiene concerns from what I saw, and he is personable and easy to connect with, which is a bonus.

Loufel has been coloring and cutting my hair ever since we became friends five years ago. Being a Filipina with wavy hair, I previously had trouble finding a stylist who truly understood my hair and who I felt 100% comfortable with. Loufel not only understands my hair as she is Filipina herself, but with her bright personality and down-to-earth nature she also is so fun and easy to talk to about anything! From deep conversations to totally random ones, I always appreciate our conversations in the three hours Im in the chair for my color appointments. Their studio is also always so clean and playing great music in the background. I highly recommend!

Best colorist in Ballard! I’ve been seeing Angelo for 5 years now and I am always satisfied. He listens to what I ask for and always improves on my idea. Stylists who listen but don’t get involved in the discussion leave me feeling like I just placed an order for something I shouldn’t necessarily have. Angelo’s feedback is a big part of why he’s so good. That and his continual education in new techniques — this guy is always learning cool new things! Plus he’s damn funny. Love him! 😎

Angelo is an incredible person and a talented hair stylist. I have seen him do some amazing things with color, but I mostly go to him for straightening and cuts. He took my frizzy mop to something I am actually excited about. He has a TON of scientific knowledge and can explain WHY a product works or HOW the chemical reaction is changing your hair. I also love that he listens to what I want and then suggests ways for us to get there. He is super skilled, but also really approachable and collaborative. Highly recommend!

My wife and I have followed Angelo to three different salons. Not only does our hair come out perfectly every time, but Angelo is great to talk to! He does a great job recreating haircuts from pictures, or working with you to decide what sort of haircut would work well for your face shape. My wife loves the cutting and coloring work hes done with her hair, including correcting poor-quality jobs from other stylists. Experience, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Angelo is the best in Seattle and is an absolute gem. He is amazing with color! My hair looks better than it has in years and I love how creative he is every single time without making me uncomfortable with too much crazy change. He’s really good at making you look your best. Angelo is great at cutting hair. As a guy, there’s not an insane amount of stuff you can do with your hair, and if someone messes up your hair, it can be hard to fix because guys don’t have a lot of hair to work with to begin with.My hair is a little longer, so I was showing him different hair styles I thought would look good. He is able to take what you show him and make it even better to fit your style and personality. I highly recommend Angelo for guys. My fiancé also sees him to get her hair cut & colored and absolutely loves him. He is very approachable and easy to talk and connect with

Angelo does just an amazing job. He has some magic that allows my shorter cuts to always look good - even 8 weeks later as I walk in for my next cut. Ive followed him to three locations since my first cut years ago. Ill follow him anywhere!

Love Angelo! I started going to him about three years ago when I had a color mishap at another salon. I was in desperate need of a color correction and he is the only one I trust now. Angelo understands color theory and the science behind hair, and will give you honest feedback about what compliments your skin tone or face shape. Educated, talented, and overall just a really cool personality. I highly recommend!!!

Ive been having Angelo cut my hair just about as long as hes been in the industry. Hes attentive and his attention to detail is unparalleled. He is very welcoming and his attention to detail is amazing. After all these years I still get what he calls the Caleb cut. I have only thrown him curve ball once in the last 10+ years and, although shocked, he was more than accommodating. I highly recommend him, even if its just a haircut.

Angelo has been my only hairstylist in Seattle. He always does a fantastic job and I get tons of compliments on my hair. Just give him an idea and let him run with it! I trust him completely with my hair.

I know that no one is perfect, but Angelo is perfect for me! I started seeing him about two years ago and in all my years I have never had a stylist sit down, face me, and actually have a conversation about what I was wanting in regards to my hair. Its usually a conversation that happens with the stylist standing behind you talking to you into the mirror. That has always stuck with me and so Ive stuck with him. I am also extremely picky about my hair and a little high maintenance but Angelo always exceeds my expectations with my cut and especially my color. I trust him unequivocally and would not hesitate to come in, sit down, say do whatever you want, and know I was going to be completely happy.

Angelo is simply the best! It takes a lot for me to build trust for someone to cut and color my hair and hes been doing my hair for 4 years now. I even let him do whatever he wants. Hes up to date on the latest trends but also has such a creative personality and is super talent. He never steers you wrong and makes sure you are comfortable with his suggestions. Hes also an educator so he definitely knows what hes doing. On top of being funny, hes such a good, caring person. If you need further proof on why you should go see him: I originally saw him in 2014 when he was at a salon in Edmonds, then he branched out and had his own space in Northgate after that he moved to Ballard and so I followed and I live up by Lynnwood! Hes just that good!

Angelo is awesome! I’ve been seeing him over the course of ~4 years and he has never led me in the wrong direction with my hair. I have gone from Blonde to Eggplant Purple to Brunette, and every time he has gotten it perfect. He is extremely honest as to what you can and cannot do with your hair—when I wanted to go blonde he took a piece of my hair that he had cut when giving me a haircut and showed me how blonde he could get my hair without destroying it. He also styles my hair when I go and never rushes anything :)He travels around the US and trains himself and others every month and is constantly learning to make sure he can give his clients the best experience. I highly recommend him!!

Angelo was my go to guy when I moved up to Seattle. He is talented in his craft and he is a ton of fun to hang out with while you get your hair done!
