Went to Franks yesterday for a line up after a horrible experience at Ace Barbers. Frank gave me exactly what I wanted and provided razor work which is hard to find in Seattle. I will be giving Frank my business whenever I am in Seattle and need a haircut/line. Highly recommend this location.

I was really amazed by the place. It was so relaxing and cozy. The hairstylist suggested a lot of new hairstyles that would suit me and my hair color as well. I am very thankful to her, for doing such a great and impressive job on my hair. I really love my new hairstyle and color. Thank you, guys!

The owner, Frank is unbelievably rude. He started berating me for taking my time thinking about what I wanted and seemed very impatient despite not having any other people to cut. When I clearly told him what I wanted afterwards he gave me something completely different. I clearly told him not to go too high on the cut but he ended up doing the opposite and I honestly think he did so deliberately after being frustrated at me beforehand. He also completely removed my beard when I told him I just want a trim. The only part about the cut I actually thought was done well was the line-up. To top it off, the price is absurdly not worth it. I will never come back again.

Great local place to get your hair cut and listen to the good music Frank plays. Been coming here for years and he always gives a great cut. I have coarse Asian hair and he can handle it no problem. Frank takes walk ins and appointments. Good vibes here, awesome local hair salon.

Very unprofessional frank the owner spent his whole time trying to convert me to Christianity from being a athiest. I went for a haircut and nothing else. I felt very disrespected.

Good location and close to the city. Friendly barbers who actually greet you and seem happy to see you unlike most local shops. Good conversation and friendly atmosphere, strongly recommend, ask for Walter.

I used this barber shop on 2 separate occasions and was unhappy each time.. On both occasions, I was cut by Frank himself.During my first visit, I told him what I wanted but he he argued that it was a bad idea. I am ok with a barber making recommendations, however, this felt pushy and aggressive as he continued to insist after I declined. As you can imagine, I was already uncomfortable.Additionally, he was constantly distracted during the haircut, taking calls, taking with others and even stopping to do other things in the shop. The second time I decided to give him a try again as it was just after Seattle started opening up since the start of Covid-19.He quoted a different price that was $10 more claiming it was a covid fee. He also quoted the price I paid him during my initial hair cut as $5.00 more and insisted I was wrong. Consequently, I paid $15.00 more for the same haircut.During the haiir cut he continued with the same distracting activities as my first visit. He eventually CUT MY EAR WITH A RAZOR. THERE WAS NON-STOP BLEEDING AND HE COULD NOT STOP THE BLEEDING. AFTER SAYING SORRY, HE BLAMED ME FOR HIM LACERATING MY EAR.When I pointed out to him that he was not focused during the haircut, he became offensive.I would NEVER use the place again.I have lived in Wisconsin, NY, and FL, however, this has been my worse experience at a barbershop. My opinion of Frank as a barber is that he is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I do not think he is a good barber.

Worst haircut I’ve received in years. I think the kid was just out of barber school, if he went at all. I put 2 stars because he was nice, but he butchered my head. I have meetings in Texas next week with my business partners and I’ll have to see if I can get it fixed Monday morning somewhere there. Also, one of the guys there asked if I was a cook... Sorry, not all Mexicans work in kitchens. Have already told my people to stay away from this place.

I was in town for a wedding and my hair was looking pretty ragged so I called Frank to see if he could fit me in. He said come on down and Paula was available to cut my hair. The haircut was great and my wife loved it. Frank and Paula treated me like I was a regular customer! Over the course of the several days I was in town, I bumped into both of them again and they still remembered my name. I highly recommend these folks if you are in Seattle or just a guest in the First Hill area of Seattle near Madison Street & Tyler Avenue. Thanks again Frank and Paula!

I am pretty new to Seattle and finding a new place to get my haircut is always scary, but I walked in and Paula instantly made me feel confident about my experience. Frank himself even steps in to insure that his guests are leaving with his top quality product. Thanks guys!

It was bad... one of the worst haircuts Ive ever gotten. Frank cut me like 4 different time with the t-liner... he tried giving me a skin fade by pushing the machine harder on my skin. My head was literally hurting after the cut, only to get charge $35. Never going back. If you come here try another barber.

Arrived excited at a potential new barber. I called frank he was able to get me in within 10 mins.(great phone etiquette)However Next time I know to wait half hour for earl on 23rd.Right when I sat down I had red flags. No sweeping from previous client and when the smock was thrown over me I could feel excess hair from other people. DistgustingHe didn’t even fix my taper & my parts look like they were done by a kid with the shakes. So bad I’ll fill them in with black marker until they grow out. Also his blades irritated my skin and were kinda harsh. Even after that I thanked and tipped, he looked to his next client without a word not a your welcome or thank you for your business. NOTHING.
