I cancelled a month ago and just got charged by them again. I have a friend who regularly goes here and pays his membership on time. He just found out that they sent 10$ of “outstanding fees” to collections. He managed to nip that in the bud but it almost started to mess with his credit score and the gym didn’t bother to warn him.

This is a top notch establishment. Every associate during my visit was extremely hospitable and professional. A special shout out to the two coaches I was fortunate to train with Chris and Jeffrey, both challenged me and gave me a great workout! Matt the GM and Evelyn at the front desk were also especially accommodating for my short visit in San Diego. I highly recommend this gym for anyone looking to take your fitness to the next level and train with the best of the best in Mission Valley. Thanks for everything UFC Gym Mission Valley!

The service charge also was very affordable. Five-star for them! Their facilities are clean and have professional trainers. It was my first time visiting this place and my experience was remarkable.

I want to join but dont like reviews saying it is hard to cancel your membership, cancel emails go unanswered.

If you have a note on your door saying you open at 6:00am on Monday the 28th after closing for the whole weekend, you open at 6:00 am Monday the 28th to at the very least be considerate of other people’s time. Very disappointed about this especially and unfortunately not the first time this “gym” has inconvenienced me.

I wrote a letter to the manager Matt when the gym opened back up again during covid stating I had To suspend my membership as I lost A business of 15 years, couldn’t afford it and didn’t want to risk being exposed as well. I was Just called by the collection agency for almost $300 when I don’t have the $. This is not a way to do business, they could’ve gotten a return customer, but blew everything.

This is a great place to push yourself to the limit. The staff and coaches are very friendly. The place is always clean and plenty of machines to work out. The classes are well designed to gain the most benefits out of the daily workouts. There is always parking. You get treated like a family member, and Im happy with my personal investment.

Evelynn is awesome and did a great job explaining reopening procedures and how everything is working now that the gym is completely reopened!

Went to check the place out. It looked packed on a Thursday afternoon. Staff was super-friendly and accommodating; they made me feel right at home. Spacious 2-floor facility with an abundance of gym equipment—free weights and Weightlifting platforms in the 1st floor along with the octagon and bag area, cardio equipment and machines, and two matted grappling areas on the 2nd.Cool place. Come check it out.

The gym has a great atmosphere. Very professional and clean. I am in San Diego for just a couple days and they have amazing day pass prices and coaches for private sessions if interested. Great people. I will be back tomorrow.

First day so far. Everyone so friendly but also let you do your own thing. Grateful to the GM for helping make my situation work. Far from overwhelming but extremely challenging and supportive environment. Not too crowded. Really appreciate that they make the childcare hours work. For the amount of people, coach was able to keep an eye on me at my level and help teach me lessons I lacked. Looking forward to this journey together. Thank you for your support in my and my family’s health goals.

Jhanex’s classes are the best!!! I highly recommend people taking his classes... he is truly awesome. Great and experienced coach!!

Love this gym and the staff! Everyone is great and friendly! Kirby at the front desk is so helpful, several times she has gone out of her way to help me (especially when I forget my gear). Highly recommend coming here, take the classes, get fit and have fun!

Excellent facility. Lots of equipment. Clean, organized, efficient. Havent gone to very many classes yet but will update later.

For starters, the facility is always super clean & no problems with parking. Never seen a machine broken or had to wait for a machine. The staff is so welcoming, supportive and encouraging. Took my first DUT class last week (thanks to my Coach Barski) and it was awesome-great way to start my day. Events going on all the time. Highly recommend.

UFC members are great, they each have there own style of teaching. The Gym is ready, its maintained clean, filled with the right equipment, both the parking lot and the gym have more than enough space for you. I guarantee your body will leave satisfied.

I like all of the employees a lot , but the management is absolutely unacceptable. No one but the GM can cancel your membership if you want out, and so you have to email him. But he never returns your emails. Matt..? Where you at bro?

Only the best! Trainers are more than qualified. Ive had memberships with other clubs and nothing compares to the care that the UFC team puts in with their members

One of the best gyms in been to, very clean, machines all all up to date on technology and they have a steam room.

I went to visit a good friend of mine in Cali & she took me here. I was nervous but they made me feel so welcomed. And the workout had me sore for 2 days later

Facilities are great. Classes are good.Theres never anyone at the front desk, so its hard to buy a protein bar in the middle of a workout, but besides that, its great.

Staff is great, equipment is all new and clean, finally a gym with real music you can hear and multiple classes to choose from. Also kids class so perfect for families.

The environment you get here is awesome. Its nothing like a quiet dull 24 hour fitness. Its motivating and fast paced. Trainers are really cool and knowledgeable. Samantha Pankey has a good line up of workouts and lays everything out in detail, she badd. One of the other awesome trainer here is Paul le! This guy is probably one of the most thorough and well versed trainers Ive come a cross. Coming from an athletic background that says a lot. He has helped my lifting technique and shown me plenty of different stretches to keep improving. Thanks guys!

Do NOT come here if you wanna learn Muay Thai. Trainer Jhanex almost never explains the technique & half of the time he doesn’t even pay attention to what you’re doing.When I tried to get my money back for the reason that “absolutely no training was provided”, manager Matt told me that it’s too late & that I paid for gym access & not specifically for Muay Thai classes even though that was the only reason why I signed up for UFC Gym membership.You’ll be better off going to some local bar & picking a fight with an a-hole who’s bothering someone. This way you’ll get the same quality training absolutely for FREE & possibly a “thank you” if you manage to win. ))

Great Location, with classes all day and although Its UFC GYM dont let the n name fool you, its a fitness gym that uses the workouts that gave guys like GSP a 6 pack Check it out!!

Bought a gi from ufc gym for over $100 and never received it or compensation. Now they are refusing to reimburse me. Gym i had membership with was also closed down. But my membership was transfered to a different location with out notifying me and they continued to bill me with out notifying me as well. They didnt even tell me that my gym was closing down. Stealing from disabled veterans in a military town like san diego is most likely why most of their locations in san diego closed down already.

Really nice modern training facilty. Matts weights, classes for conidtioning BJJ and some Muay Thai. Good prices under 100 mo

This gym is horrible along with most of the ufc gyms in san diego. I highly recommend not going to any of their gyms as staff is only there to make a sale. The classes are just as bad, the coaches dont know how to train and seem like begginers themselves. They have no clientele making classes really small usually 1-3 ppl and sparring near impossible. The only thing they might have going for them is the variety of equipment but even then its very limited. When I tried canceling my membership the guy told me that he did, however a month later I found that they were still charging me. I went back another time and canceled and tried to get a reimbursement and they gave me the run around telling me to contact the guy i had talked to orignally, the district manager Bryan gave me his personal number but has not asnwered his phone or text messages and continues to ignore me. This is suppose to be a bussiness they should have some integrity but theyre clearly unprofessional. Again, I highly recommend not even considering walking in. If you are looking for a place to train The arena in point loma or The One training center in la mesa.
