As someone who was overweight, completely inactive, and wrote off going to a gym for several years due to the environment, I absolutely love Teqneeq. I spend several hours a day here because theres no where else Id rather be. The staff AND members are incredibly helpful, welcoming, and friendly. I love the rules implemented because they were all issues I had with gyms in the past: everyone cleans their station after use, and everyone is incredibly respectful of the gym and of one another. People aside, the equipment are all top notch, clean, and theres never been issues with out-of-order stations. Overall, its a zen facility with a great atmosphere, and thanks to Teqneeq I actually look forward to working out.

One of the nicest gyms in the area. They have 2 of everything which makes it nice to superset and never a need to wait for equipment. Heavy bags, to indoor and outdoor turf area, the gym is obsolete and always kept clean! The owner is really easy going and everyone there is always friendly. Would love more gyms like these in SD.

This is one of the best gyms in San Diego! I’ve been a member for a couple years now and have always had a positive experience. The owner and staff are passionate about fitness, and you can tell by the quality of the gym! I definitely recommend this gym because it’s filled with friendly people and state of the art workout machines.

I am a recently new member and have enjoyed this gym. Clean, perfect air temperature, and new equipment. You can tell the owner takes very good care of it and is always willing to get new equipment for his members. All the well known equipment staples are there plus some specialty items. If someone was to ask me Id say it is a mix between cross fit and powerlifting.

I joined Teqneeq 4 months ago. The equipment is the best in San Diego! The 24 hour access is a great benefit. The owner has integrity and works hard to continually improve the facility. The best gym in San Diego!

Dom, the owner of this gym is extremely rude human being. Please be aware of this when joining this gym, save your money and go to another gym that will respect you as a paying customer. The owner (dom) needs much needed education on customer service, and being reliable when doing business. This Man sent numerous emails back and forth with my husband when all we wanted to do was place a 1 month hold on our account because we were leaving the country for the entire month of august. Middle of July which we paid for in advance for no reason at all he then told us just dont return to the gym and that he would refund our payment made for that month. Which he never did 1 month later. Basically Lied. Only reason this man is speaking UP now on this matter if because my husband posted a review to let people know who they will be dealing with. He then (dom) starts his response to my husband review with insulting him which is uncalled for but hilarious. He then has his assistant email me apologizing for NOT refunding OUR payment which was paid for in advance and ask us to remove the negative review. Again we both are laughing because all he had to do in the first place was be nice. Say yes or No. and if for no reason at all didnt want us in his gym anymore to simply say so and refund our money. I will post now his admin email so you know everything Im saying is Legit. Again just BEWARE dealing with this guy.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. After working out at a handful of commercial gyms through the years, Teqneeq is a refreshing contrast. The environment itself is impeccable. Great equipment selection/quality, no crowds, a logical floor plan with ample clearance, appropriate climate, fully stocked sanitation stations, and an RO drinking water system are some of the many luxuries. The general atmosphere of the place sets it apart from your typical gym.Another aspect I immensely respect is no attempt to upsell retail goods or personal training sessions to members. In addition, there are no misleading contracts to navigate upon signing up. While personal trainers do work with clients, they are not affiliated with the club itself, which seems like a favorable system for the trainer and client.Lastly, the people here are great. The owner and staff are a pleasure to interact with. A vast majority of members possess gym etiquette and general awareness, which is always rare. Whether you are a novice or elite trainee, competitive athlete, powerlifter, or someone simply looking to improve their health, Teqneeq is an ideal environment to pursue fitness-oriented goals. I am beyond grateful for a training facility of this magnitude.

Due to unique situations, almost immediately after I signed up for a membership with Teqneeq I relocated away from the area. I later noticed that because of Covid-19 I hadnt properly canceled my membership. My membership had been recurring on a credit card for months and once I noticed it and informed Teqneeq they fully refunded all my past charges with greater professionalism than I expected. I just wanted to say thank you for making this easy for me and also to provide this review for anyone who is concerned about memberships, cancelations, etc - this company is honorable and professional and if I lived in the area, I would definitely be with them again.

A common theme you see by gyms now is they look pretty, have no space, and they are simply no functional.Teqneeq is not one of those gyms. Ive been to a lot of gyms over the years, and this bar far is my favorite. The ability to go when I want, 24 hours a day & 7 days a week, is priceless. It has the perfect mix of equipment between: cardio, free weights, and isolated strength machines, a room for boxing and cycling, one for stretching, one for classes, etc... The facility is always well kept and organized. The staff does great at keeping it that way, and so do the members. Everyone here seems to really care about their home gym, and everyone Ive talked to and met there has been extremely nice and welcoming. You definitely have to try it for yourself.

I love training at Teqneeq Health Training Center. Not only is the gym open 24/7 their equipment is TOP notch. I love the private fitness rooms stocked with everything you may need, boxing equipment, wind bikes, rock climbing, to the indoor and outdoor turf. One of the best attributes to train at Teqneeq is you can bring in your own trainer. To me that is everything! No need to train anywhere else! Train at the BEST to be the BEST!

Finally a true Functional Training gym. This place has THE BEST equipment and tons of it so never wait again for a machine. Also, tons of cardio equipment ( again , never a wait) Locker rooms cleaner and nicer than any gym I’ve been too. The staff is professional and helpful. This place gave me the motivation to really work on my fitness. Oh and it’s open 24 hours which is great for me. I am rare to review but this place well deserving.

What you can expect when you pay for a membership here is a welcoming environment for all people of all ages and fitness levels, a non intimidating environment, excellent parking, a clean and well organized gym, great people, any piece of fitness equipment you could want, absolutely no crowds or crazy peak hours, members with great gym etiquette and courtesy, members pick up their weights, friendly and professional staff, heavy weights for experienced lifters, top of the line equipment and 24 hour access. You are paying for a quality gym membership, not a commercial gym experience that you’d get at 24 Hour Fitness or LA Fitness. I’ve been a member at different gyms for 16+ years and have never found a gym like this anywhere else in the country. Personal trainers that work here are independent and are able to charge their own rates, which is better for the trainer and client. This is a gym for everyone that wants to go to a gym to get a great workout.

I truly appreciate that Teqneeq has opened up because there is nothing else like it and its everything I could want to see real results. After sifting through other facilities in San Diego, I finally found a place where I feel happy, comfortable, and energized. Ive only ever met mature and friendly members. You dont feel rushed with your workout because of crowds or limited hours. Theres so much equipment, Im doing something different all the time. Its much more intuitive and enjoyable.

I went to this gym with my brother and his son. At first sight I was in awe, this was the most amazing complete gym I’ve ever bin in. I’ve never seen so many types of workout equipment. With 4 separate rooms with 2 up stars. It’s fantastic I would personally recommend this gym, you got to see it for yourself.the staff are super friendly it’s just simply the best !!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very pleased to have joined. It is super clean, ton of different equipment to choose from, not over crowded and packed and the equipment is always working. I have a membership at Crunch and 24hr and I’m always having to wait and deal with the over crowding. I think this is my primary gym moving forward. Couldn’t be happier here.

Teqneeq has been part of my everyday life for over five years. It’s gone through a few renovations but one thing stays consistent, the great people and facility. I can always count on having top of the line equipment, trainers and serious club members. Everyone at this gym is there with a mission and are very friendly. I was very eager to try this gym since several friends had done so already.Personally im a very busy and blessed person who had a hard time getting there within staff hours since i work from 7am- 8pm at timesHowever DAWSON WAS SUPER HELPFUL with getting me a day pass , walk me through the gym, letting me know their prices and what could work best for me. Tried the gym out and DAWSON EVEN stayed some minutes after his work hours to get me signed up in no time.ALSO BECKY was very attentive and helpful over the phone with like 5 questions i had.. Teqneeq is a excellent gym. It is well equipped, especially for barbell training. It is also a beautiful and relaxing space. Teqneeq has been much less crowded than chain gyms, which is especially nice after work. It is also a true 24-hour facility. Management focuses on creating a community that respects each other and the facility, which results in a positive and motivating environment.
