Alexia, Assistant Manger could easily be viewed as a general manger. She takes her job very seriously and is always attentive to the guest that come in. Been here only 3 days and already knows my name. As a client my experience has been wonderful! A+ and if i was the owner I’d be very happy I’d have someone open my gym that cares about it as much as I would. God bless all!

I went today for the first time. I signed up for the free 1 day pass. I got there early it wasnt so busy which was great. Went to the front desk and had an interesting interaction for someone like me that was trying out plant fitness for the first time they didnt really make me feel like it mattered I was there. They had a difficult time scanning my barcode in than finally decided to look for me with my ID. They didnt show me around or anything the guy just said the lockers are there. The gym wasnt so big so I guess I could figure it out on my own. I really wanted to like the gym but it just wasnt for me. My whole first impression wasnt anything for me want to come back to the gym. Parking is okay its in a shopping center shared with other small businesses. Some people had Masks on some didnt not sure what their mask policy even is? There were cleaning stations , gym was overall clean. I wouldnt recommend it but every one has different things they want from a gym. This just wasnt it.

Thankfully the manager Nick was there and got them my information and set up my card so they could look it up by my phone number. Thank you Nick!

Jaden was exceptionally helpful in getting me signed in. Gym was a great size, wasnt crowded, and plenty of machines to enjoy a workout. Ill definitely be back.

Always a great experience here. I wish they had some of the newer equipment that counted reps and cool down time, but thats not an actual problem. I noticed that a lot of people camp at machines on their cell phones at this particular location. I wish the staff would enforce a time limit because I dislike asking people to move. I havent used any of the perks of the Black Card yet, but Im excited to do so on the 5th.

I had a really not good experience today at this gym. Unfortunately, a guy started yelling at me asking why I was looking at him (?!). To make the situation even more terrible, the guy started talking out loud inviting me to go outside the gym to have a fight with him.Because everyone was noticing the situation, the staff came to talk to me and to that guy, and invited me to the massage chair in order to make me fell relaxed after such a bad experience.While thinking about calling the police, the staff handled the situation in the best possible way. So, Id like to thank the people who works in this place. This is a good gym, but they probably got someone w/ mental problems trying to do stupid things.

Awesome.That being said: Amenities galore similar to a day spa!All the regular machines and special specific machines.Weight lifting options, also a designated room for a person who wants a thoughtless quick work out, just follow the machine order to a tailored work out of a persons custom.So clean and organized constantly and well maintained.Its been my gym where ever I call home throughout the states.Environment of a home away from home. Employed by staff that are hard working people, who are down to earth with inspiration, friendliness, joyful class. Professional customer service that stands apart from any other. Affordable for the working class individual that stands apart themselves!👍

Use to really love this place, especially when it was 24 hours because it worked with everyones schedule but now I can barely find time to make it there and the weekends are best for me but 7pm closing is too early. They could at least close at 10 like during the week. I also dont like going when its packed because you have to wait for others to get off machines and some people dont cleanup after the are finish. We are still in covid so it would be better if they had more flexibility with time to accommodate everyone and keep it less crowded. I might cancel my membership and go somewhere else.

Planet fitness people are helpful and attentive. Equipment is good quality and environment is motivating.

Completely changed my original 1 star. These guys are great and their customer service is excellent. The guy working May 2, around 4:00 PM was awesome!!! He helped me so much!!! He completely changed my review to 5 stars from 1 honestly. I recommend.

I workout at 5 in the morning. Not very crowded so I am done by 6 am

I had a membership one month and a few days before California decided that all gyms needed to close. I arrived in-person to find the notice on the door that accounts will be frozen, which I took a picture for my own records. About two months later planet fitness emailed a notice that I could call in and reinstate the account, so I was under the knowledge that all accounts had been cancelled. I receive a bank notification that Planet Fitness charged my card for 23.06 today. As my consumer right I was not notified that the account was active, the membership was starting back, and that premiums had increased. I spoke with the current manager who informed me that I could transfer and cancel at my nearest Planet Fitness, when I asked about my refund the manager said per our policy we do not give refunds. So I asked the current manager for a emailed copy of the agreement I signed in-person. NO where in the policy did it indicate that specifically that was the blueprint. When I asked the current manager how come I was not contacted he stated we tried to charge your card on 4/18 and there was NSF. Which is untrue so, I asked the current manager to email me what the system was reflecting (which has not been sent) I made a attempt to contact corporate, because I was not informed by marketing or the branch. I was refused the right to choose once the premiums increased. I do not care that it is just four dollars, it is not Planet Fitness four dollars to dictate. Lastly, I want my right to redressal with corporate or the CEO. These franchises make the rules interchange for their pockets and I cant make sure your summer home is paid for. We are living in a moment where every dollar is locked to our survival surrounding food/shelter/children. Planet Fitness has terrible customer service when it comes to communication and their marketing time needs to come off the greed train. I hope this set perspective for the company and gives strength to the American people not to fold over be intimidated by contracts and standing for what is law.

Clean, calm, quiet and theres always available stations. Working out with a mask is easier than one would assume. Supportive mature staff and management.

From the very 1st day of walking into this gym I could sense a genuine feel of team and employee integrity and that becomes evident once you meet the General Manager, Nick. His high level of energy and enthusiasm is something to recognize him for Nicks level of leadership and guest focused attitude snowballs laterally to his team who are just as welcoming and helpful. I am a CKD Stage 4 survivor and I am beyond proud to call this Planet Fitness gym my home.

Ive been going here for two years. They have been handling all of the covid changes super well! Anytime I have gone in there is never too many people. Both staff and members have been following covid guidelines and wear masks inside and frequently clean the machines. I am very glad to be able to be back in and get my workouts done!

No attitude, no pressure, no blaring rap music where every other word is the N word.. Just working out at your own pace. I could get used to this.

I went to go cancel my membership after they opened because i dont feel safe going anymore due to covid and my pregnancy. They said it looked like they had charged my card already. I asked if i would be getting a refund and they said no. I did not want to fight it because i had a long day and i just wanted to get it over with. I dont understand why i would not get a refund if i was no longer going to go and all this time it had been closed. Does not make sense.

This is my 2nd time at this Planet Fitness and both visits were disappointing. First time I never got to go in because the person at the desk was talking on the phone and wouldnt even acknowledge me or my guest. I needed to check in without my phone but I waited about 10 minutes and gave up. This time I wanted to buy a Rockstar drink (from the cooler... Everything in the cooler is supposed to be half price for black card) but was told I do not get the half price on drinks deal because it doesnt apply to Rockstar... Hmmm. Then the bathroom was dirty.. large clump of hair in the shower and lots of trash on the floor.

My previous review for this spot was 3⭐ because theres no big boy weight. But since being locked down cuz of covid19 I truly missed this place. I appreciate this gym being open to the public. The staff is cool. Might need to bring ur own toilet seat covers 😆Blessings #XTRNL619

Before the shutdown I would visit this gym daily! The hours would work well for night shift personnel. Although this planet fitness doesn’t adhere to their member clothing policy but the atmosphere is still no judgement and very welcoming!

Thinking about moving back to PF (currently have LA Fitness) but my current gym just charged my yearly, but PF is def better and I miss their total beauty enhancement so much. Def worked wonders and the machines there are comfortable!

DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP WITH PLANET FITNESS IF YOU PLAN ON MOVING IN THE FUTURE.Moved to an area that doesn’t have a planet fitness and you can ONLY cancel in person or through the mail.

They dont seem too concerned about if people are cleaning the equipment after getting off. They just seem stay at the front desk and just worry about the people coming in with mask. I feel they should do more and pay attention to the customers who are not cleaning the equipment and just using it and walking away

So during Covid-19 the gym suspended everyone’s account so that you’re not being charged for something you’re not using which i thought was great. But then recently they reopened and i was never notified. No email, No phone call smh nothing at all! I randomly check my account and notice a charge from Planet Fitness. I called for a reimbursement because of course i don’t want to be charged for services I’m not using. They refuse to reimburse me and directed me to customer service. Well customer service redirected me to the main store and i spoke to the manager Nick and he still couldn’t help. At this point I’m disgusted by the customer service and lack of appreciation for customers and rough times. I simply ask to be reimbursed for services i didn’t receive and Planet fitness made it seem impossible. I’m happy to have canceled and i will never go back.

Good place to start if youre new to fitness. Easily the cleanest gym Ive ever been to, all equipment is very new and in great condition. Unbeatable price.The downside is that they are crowded and they have no large free weight bars (bench, squat, clean, etc) so youll want to move on to a real gym once you gain a little basic fitness though. Still a good way to save money for your first 3-6 months of weightlifting or if you only use treadmills/elliptical machines.

I’ve been going here for a few years now and I like this gym a lot, it has everything that you need for your basic workout and more, showers are not always with hot water but you just have ta make it a quick one.

This place is super clean and spacey. The people who works out here are young and motivated. The membership price is affordable too. I paid 50$ total the first month and after that my monthly payments are 10$.The down fall is that there is no accountability from a personal trainer but they do offer some openings for group training exercises. Which are lessons from a trainer but it’s still not the best help...

Smelled sweaty and some of the machines could used some fixing.Not totally bad, but Id rather drive to Chula Vista. Always clean, friendly, and just a better vibe.

Great gym. Staff is very nice and helpful. They are great if you have any trouble using the equipment, or just have general questions. People here are generally nice, and the staff works to encourage a friendly workout environment. The equipment is newer, and fairly easy to use. The staff is constantly cleaning and tidying, so the gym stays clean. I definitely recommend this gym to anyone who wants a good workout, in a friendly environment.

Great place to get a quick workout at. All the equipment is new and functioning. Could use more free weights but is good enough to get the job done. Isnt for the more seasoned weight lifters due to limited weight available. Very nice clean showers as well as no need for a lock for your lockers. They have temporary is lockers where you set a combination then it erases when youre ready to leave. Staff is friendly as well as the atmosphere. Great place to workout at. Especially since it is open 24 hours.

Overall is a good gym, the Staff is always friendly and willing to help. The Water fountain is currently out of service for about a month.The gym has all the basic equipment needed for a satisfactory workout. But it lacks on power lifting equipment. What I like the most about this gym is the price.

So they trick you at first. Its all niceties and awesomeness until you have been there for a minute. EVERYTHING IS A LIE....Literally. I was told so many lies. I had enough. Great gym. Staff is friendly and willing to consult with you at anytime. Gym members are also friendly and willing to give advice. Also great for shy people like myself who dont want any in your face attention. AND IT IS SO CLEAN. Nice locker rooms and showers as well.

I have no complaints for this location. I was on vacation and visited this planet fitness. Everything seemed well taken care of and the employees were nice. Everything was clean as well.

I go really early in the morning and its perfect. The equipment is always in great working order and these staff is helpful. The lockeroom is really clean, just be ready to rinse out the showers before you get in, not from the staff but from the people before

I went with my friend to try it out, it was free because of her guest pass, as well as the water massage bed! It was so clean I couldnt believe it! Defiantly changing my gym to Planet Fitness!

Been going here for a couple months now. Place is always clean and the staff is nice and helpful when needed. Would be a lot better if they didnt have Fox News on two of the TVs all the time. Turn that garbage off!

Great variety of machines. Clean and not too crowded on a weeknight around 7 pm. Lots of dudes in the weights area, but women who lift are used to that. didnt seem intimidating. in fact one guy offered up some help.

Great service. We go here enough that they know us. Excellent gym. Be sure to grab a peak hours sheet to avoid the crowds in the summer though.

I love this gym. 10 mins from home. Most of staff friendly. Equipped with all the equipment I need to get/stay in shape. For ALL adult age groups. It can get crowded so plan your hours accordingly. No gym is perfect so Im not going to point out every little problem. If something is wrong inform the staff/manager.

Plenty of parking everything was clean. Lots of equipment and not packed.They dont have a blow dryer like San Marcos does! That makes getting ready easy when you have to go to work after. Just bring your own.

Gotta say: the people who go here are dedicated to this gym. They must be doing it right. Parking can be a problem only because they are so popular. It is a small strip mall, and more people who appreciate it than can be accommodated in the parking lot. There are other Fitness Centers that would dearly love such a problem.

This gym surprised me. The google pictures werent the most enticing, but the gym was great. Its modern, clean, doesnt smell, and not too crowded on a Sunday night. Good vibe and friendly staff.

Ive been going to this gym for a year and I love it. The staff is amazing and they are constantly cleaning. It never gets crazy busy. Parking is easy. They have a great selection of cardio and weight machines, so even if someone is one the machine you wanted, there are plenty of others that target the muscle group you are trying to train.

It definitely lives up to their standard of no judgment, I feel very comfortable here. Even when its busy it still holds a great atmosphere. All shifts of their employees are friendly and helpful. From the outside it does look smaller but looks are deceiving. Its always clean. Love this gym

Currently homeless and on the road, one of the reasons Planet Fitness Black Card was not only for the workout, but also to get a shower. This Club, I must say, is one of the best! The staff are nice and they have lots of workout equipment. I did not use the massage beds this time. A benefit of Planet Fitness Black Card membership besides the fact that one can also work out at any club in the United States and Canada.

The absolute nicest staff. None of the amenities or equipment is missing. Favorite gym ever. Very comfortable in there. Nice bathrooms. Great equipment options.

Great gym. The equipment is new and everyone cleans the equipment after each use.The only down side... bathrooms smells pretty bad all the time.

I LOVE the staff here. Everyone is super friendly and they keep everything very clean. The womens showers and locker room is very well kept up and that is super important to me. **EDIT* Trying to get out of autopay and cancel (no contract) membership after moving out of town was a NIGHTMARE! It has cost me more financially than the entire time I was a member. No thank you!

Facilities are average at best. They require bank account AND routing number for a $10/month membership. What a joke!

Its clean, tidy, friendly staff, organized and people are pretty good about spraying and wiping down the equipment they use. Good variety of activities and perks. Cant beat the price for what you get.

Excellent staff, tons of equipment, really cheap on pricing. Does get pretty packed around 7pm weekdays but as does most gyms I guess. Overall great pick for a gym.

The gym is kept very clean and well maintained and staff members are friendly and helpful. However, the showers here seem to be on a timer where there is only warm water for 10-15 seconds and then it is freezing cold. Good gym if you dont plan on ever showering here.
