The actually work has been fine but everything else about this place is terrible! So many problems with them dont know where to start! I had a treatment plan set up with them at the beginning and neither dentist goes off it. I set an appointment to do one thing and they do something else, when try to talk to them about it they wont. Average wait Time in the waiting room for me is about 45 minutes, I once was waiting for a hour and a half. I would if left a lot earlier but I watching a movie on my tablet and lost track of time. Ive had a lot of other issues but Ill refrain. Time to look for another Dentist. Wont go back!

I dont recommend this place. They make you scheduled multiple appointments when I know it shouldnt be this way. No joke two appointments to seal a small cavity ridiculous. I have three children so I know this place is a scam. I have my regular dentist and only came here for extractions. People theyre better places out there. The short hispanic guy dental assistant was very rude to me, hes the reason I wrote this review.

First off, La Maestra Family Dental Clinic is AWESOME. There is some confusion out there since both on Google Maps and Yelp the City Heights location 4305 University Ave does not specify the suite # and there are a couple La Maestra Dental locations in City Heights that differ based on suite# (I submitted request to input the Maestra Dental located at 4305 Suite 150). It is inside the same building/suite as Radys Mid-City Urgent care (Not next to Chase bank like currently showing in pic). The level of care that all staff members, medical assistants, and doctors provide here is exceptional. Im an accountant and found this place through my employers insurance as the nearest location to my home. The receptionist Perla and Michelle are genuinely super friendly as are the medical assistants. I had the pleasure to see both Dr. Liu & Dr. ChanDr. Liu saw me for my first exam, Dr. Chan saw me for my dental cleaning. Then 3 resin composite fillings were performed by Dr. Liu and my last by Dr. Chan The wait isnt long as Ive experienced in other dental offices (which is reasonable since services sometimes go a little longer than expected as every patient and service varies per dental needs). Also, I was able to see that they all practice safe hygiene using gloves, changing films when taking x-rays on the automated machine, etc. Ill be bringing my kids here and look forward to future appointments!

I have the most absolute best service from the kids dentistry receptionist office. She is on top of the appointments for my kids couldn be happier.

There is no privacy ... people walk in and they can see them working with patients... there are 2 doc and they argue who is getting which patients... its like there objects..... they dont work well with your timing ... this there time or u wait for 3 months for next appointment.... plz go some where else they arent the best
