I’ve been to a few dentists in the local area and Sorrento Valley Perfect Smile is hands-down the most professional and welcoming. They are transparent with billing which is great and rare. The care is thorough and the doctors are excellent. Highly recommend to anyone who cares about their teeth.

Dr. Zand is the best dentist ever. He is so considerate. When I went to him for my crown, he selflessly used the material good enough for 4 teeth and made me a giant one. At first I didnt understand why he made me a boar tooth, then I knew. I now dont need my other teeth. One whole pizza fits perfectly under that single one. Just like my mom that would buy loose clothes for me so that it fits when I grow older, he put a magic tooth for me so that I dont have to use my other ones. Awesome! He is so smart, love him. Only problem was that it used to stick out of my cheek, but who cares.Then I went to him for my other tooth. Since I knew he is a crown expert, I insisted that he put another one for me. This time, he blew my mind again. I was waiting for another boar tooth, but he gave me one with a pocket. Now anything I eat gets stuck there and I have to floss right after eating. Then I end up flossing my other teeth too, so smart of him...In summary, Dr. Zand is the best crown maker in north hemisphere. Whether you need one, or your pet elephant, Dr. Zand will take care of it...

I had new patient visit and some work done on a took... a crown and need some more work done. It was able to get my tooth taken care of without pain. It was great! the entire staff is fun, funny and so flexible.

As a new patient I felt very welcomed. The staff was friendly. They were very knowledgeable. Office was nice, clean and in a easy to get to location. My cleaning was done professionally with a gentle hand. The Dr. Listened to all my concerns and answered all of my questions.I enjoyed my experience at Sorrento Valley Perfect Smile as much as you can at the dentist, Lol. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing place! My mom says she never had a cleaning that good fast and efficient and they don’t move on to another person while they are working on you. They finish you off first then proceed with next client. 10/10 highly recommend

I have dental Insurance and before doing the treatment with the doctor I made sure and asked several times about my co pay. They said 144 USD which i paid on spot and rest was covered by my Insurance. Now after 3 months theyre calling me and saying I have a balance on 400USD which my Insurance didnt cover.Stay away from this place and save yourself some trouble!

In single word it is Awesome place for dental issues . including front desk, doctor and staff are very helpful and they have lot of patience to answer all of our questions without hesitation. Also provided good suggestions.I love this place.

I am so lucky to found this doctor. I actually drove a long way from work to here, but it paid off, cause this is not some thing that you can go to anywhere any anyone. This doctor is absolutely awesome and he has caring staffs, they are very thorough in explaining procedures and answering any questions you may have. Dr. Zand performed my root canal. NOTHING hurt! The only thing I felt was a tiny pinch. He was so gentle and caring and made the experience as pleasant as it could have been! He must have done such an amazing job because I had no pain or discomfort once the numbing wore off, which is rare.Also the clinic is awesome. With all the new modern amenities and excellent staff which of course make the whole experience pleasant. This is a doctor who you can absolutely trust.

I just had the worst experience with this dentist office due to hidden fees and what I believe to be fraud. Over a year ago I received a cleaning and a root canal from this dental office. I was told that I would also need a fillings, I was informed that my insurance would pay the full cost for silver fillings but only pay 90% for the clear fillings. Sorrento Valley Perfect Smile gave me a bill for the clear fillings in case I wanted to go ahead with the procedure. I went ahead and did the procedure and paid my 10% in full. After that I received a bill from Sorrento Valley Perfect Smile billing me for the fillings again. I thought this was a mistake. I was sent to collections and told that there a mistake done, that they made an incorrect estimate and that my insurance paid less than 90% for clear filling meaning I was responsible for the rest. I was now responsible for $118.00 MORE than I paid originally. I still have the estimate that Sorrento Valley Perfect Smile gave me. It’s not my problem that they estimated incorrectly, this is something that they should pick up or clear on their side.Go to this dentist office if you like hidden fees, if you have money to throw at them, and if you want an office that isn’t client focus. How could I ever trust this office again, don’t let this happen to you. I spoke with Anna and was hoping that she could see my perspective, she just wanted me to pay the bill. With little consideration to clients I decided that my husband and I would take our insurance elsewhere.I am sure there are more trustworthy dental offices elsewhere.

I have been to this office a number of times over the last 7 years. No matter what technician I have, I always have a good experience. The Doctor is easy to talk to and knows his stuff. I switched dental insurance just so I could go back to this office even though it meant a little more money out of my pocket. I tried other dentists that accepted my previous HMO carrier and all 3 were very disappointing so I switched back to PPO. I drive out of my way to keep coming back to this office. Thats how much I like this office.

Went perfectly! The two very polite ladies at the front counter, ugh I feel terrible for not remembering their names, but they helped me a ton with my appointment. One of them was very nice enough to pull Dr. Zand for my question regarding braces. Overall, the staff works well with each other and their clients. My dentist did an amazing professional cleaning for me as well. I even got out in less than 30 mins, believe it or not.

It was my first time back since Dr. Lacivita left. The place looks great! Everything is new and so clean. It was nice to see a familiar face -- Anna, the receptionist is still there. Dina was the dental hygienist that cleaned my teeth. She was very nice and did a thorough job. Dr. Zand was very professional and seems like a nice guy, too.
