Coming from somebody who has been in the Dental field for 14 years. Dr. Ahmedo has not disappointed me. From the front office to the back office, everybody was very kind and friendly. I am always greeted with a smile. Not only is Dr. Ahmedo an excellent dentist, he is also very caring and makes sure that his patients are comfortable 100%. As much as i have helped patients, i have never been comfortable being in the dental chair myself. I’ve always been afraid of needles and being in a doctors office in general. Dr. Ahmedo is very gentle, especially with the anesthetic!I have only had two visits with them, but they definitely won’t be my last.It is such a relief to finally find a dentist you can trust!!!

I used to hate going to the dentist and avoided it for a few years, but Dr. Ahmedo and his team is amazing. Alexa was incredibly helpful in looking into my insurance coverage and even waited on the phone for hours to get a hold of my insurance on my behalf. Nicole was careful and meticulous in the cleaning and always made sure I was comfortable as possible. Dr. Ahmedo is very warm and friendly, and he removed my wisdom tooth before I even realized he was done. He is a dental ninja, and his staff are extraordinary. Maybe I wont avoid the dentist when Im up for another cleaning.

First of all, I used to dread going to the dentist...the sounds of the machines and and tools scraping against my teeth. However this office makes you feel welcome and comfortable from the time you check in. Ive been going here for about 2 years now. The dental assistants and Dr. Ahmedo are always very nice, explain everything, and are constantly checking if youre in any pain or discomfort. I havent had any major dental work, just basic cleanings, and fillings for cavities and so far so good. I currently do not have dental insurance, but I feel the prices have been pretty fair for the area and manageable for me.

Dr. Ahmedo and his staff are AMAZING! I was super nervous to go to the dentist because my past experiences at other offices haven’t been great. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed by the front desk and every single person I interacted with during my appointment was incredible. They were always making sure I was comfortable and were all so kind. I highly recommend them! They all seem so genuine and I appreciate each of them for showing me that dentist visits aren’t always scary!

The dentist is incredibly knowledgeable, I went there just for the cleanup but because of the initial evaluation that doctor did I was able to identify that I have some cavities and my wisdom tooth is impacted. Within a period of a month doctor worked on everything which included my full mouth cleaning, 5 fillings and wisdom tooth surgery. Which is Awesome!!!! His assistant was gentle and understanding when I had an issue or was feeling uncomfortable, I would recommend to anyone that needs any dental work done. The ladies at the front desk are very friendly too.

Dr. Ahmedo is the best dentist I’ve ever had. Very personable, very genuine, and you can tell he really cares about maintaining your smile. I went to see Dr. Ahmedo for a second opinion on some dental work that had been recommended by my previous office. The doctor and his staff were friendly and professional. Dr. Ahmedo asked questions about my dental and general health that no one else had, which proved to be insightful, helpful and informative. I have since then started the recommended treatment plan with him and am impressed with his highly professional skills, knowledge, gentle & caring work, ability to explain things clearly, and the teamwork with his staff. The dentist is not my favorite place to go, but if you need to go, you should give this office a try.

Im new to Brite Smile, and have been pleased with my few visits. Dr. Lightman is an excellent dentist with great sensitivity. I have found him to be thorough and gentle at the same time, especially great for anyone who may be a bit timid about seeing a dentist.

I was really nervous to get a root canal done and everyone was very nice. Dr. Ahmedo made sure nothing was bothering me during the root canal. Im going back a week from today to get a post and crown on the same tooth and I am not nervous to go anymore after my experience today!

Dr Lightman is the best! I have been his patient for many years. He is gentle and kind and his work is top quality. You wont be disappointed.

All the pictures/videos are of the doctor, little bit to into himself. Look I get dentists are supposed to oversell, but I just had a bad first experience. Without true explanation, on my first visit, I was told my four fillings had to be replaced. The other dentist said I only have two fillings. Then I was told to redo my invisalign scan, so he can do the fillings before I did the invisalign even though it was not free. Before I knew it, not only did I not have a cleaning (which is what I came for), but I was handed a dental plan for over $2,000. The next dentist I went to did a normal cleaning, and everything was fine, no need for a scaling. I also did not want to sign the paper and was told I had too. I just felt hosed, and upselled so much I will never go back. The only reason that I did not give a 1 star, is because the xray lady was really nice, and was making me laugh. Beyond that, I felt I was being sold on uneeded items, and on the Drs lifestyle. Also, I went back and changed my review to a 1 start ( I would give 0 if I could), because of the lies I was told after seeing the second dentist. The office also sent a picture of MY xrays to the new dentist, not the actual file. Just lazy.

Really great Dental office, the staff and the Dentist were very fun and helpful, my 1st visit went very smoothly and my follow up too.the office has very high tech equipments, they took pictures of my teeth and showed it to me on a big screen, Dr. Ahmedo was very helpful and educated he showed me the problem explained the reason and the treatment, took all the time to answer all my questions, I trusted him and yes he took me out of my pain like magic.I highly recommend going to that office, I rarely like dentists but this office is definitely nice.

Terrible experienceCame to this dentist with the hope of fixing several problems at a reasonable cost and a timely manner. This was by far the worst experience Ive ever had with a dentist(amhedo) and Ive been to plenty in my lifetime.I got a crown done here in June 2016. This procedure took 5/6 appointments to get done because of multiple crowns that were the wrong size and one that broke while he was installing it. I knew this would be a problem down the road and less than a year later it broke again. It was a failed procedure from the beginning. I moved from San Diego so went to another Dentist in Santa Monica. He said that it was done terribly and that I would need to re-do the entire procedure. The problem with this is that the insurance company wont cover a crown on the same tooth until 5 years after because they should last at least that long!I asked Dr.Ahmedos office for a refund and at first they agreed to a full refund but then decided to only refund the insurance company. He insisted that I send back the broken crown fragments(which I didnt save) before he would give me back my portion.Long story short I had to contact the insurance company to get my portion back from him. They threatened to withhold his funds from other procedures until he paid me. He eventually did after about 2 month of back and forth communication. He also refused to return any of my calls after several attempts. The lady in the office is nice!I would go somewhere else!

Brire Smile Dental is a fantastic place to go have some dental work done. I have been to many dentists and I have had my best dental experience at Brite Smile. Form when you walk in the waiting room is quite cosey. Mary is awesome with the greetings when you walk in the door as well as a nice conservation while you wait. If you have an appointment the wait is usually not very long. The dentists assistants are awesome too also with a nice greeting as they walk you to your chair. The assistants are very nice ask you all the questions about your teeth. The music in the background is also cool as you are about to get some work done. The music playing in the background eases the you as you wait. Dr Ahemdo is fantastic too. He always ask about your teeth and how you are in general. He also talks about other things also as he focuses on what type of work needs to be done. He and his assistants are very friendly and make sure you are alright which is nice and reassuring.If you in need of a dentist I would suggest trying Brite Smile Dental and you will leave with a Brite Smile as well as seeing some Brite Smiles too
