Monday was my first visit to Phenix Salon on Black Mountain Road in Rancho Peñasquitos; I went because my stylist, Chiharu Riley, moved her practice there. The ambience is quiet and private. I like that each practitioner has his/her own space so you dont have people walking through while you receive your cut, color, massage, or permanent makeup. The inside hallway decor has low key lighting, is carpeted, and very pretty. Spotless. Im looking forward to my next visit!

Went to Jamie. Great service very skilled and fair price. Parking might be a bit challenging but be patient and youll find a spot.

I went there at 545pm on Sunday. I had never been there before and so I didn’t know what to expect. I heard from others that there were multiple hair stylists there. On the door it says walk - ins welcome. When I walked in the lobby was nice and quiet. There was no one there. No receptionist or customers. I assumed someone would be there to assist walk ins since I had no idea which stylist to choose or if they were even available. I stood there for about 5-7 minutes waiting for someone to walk by or in. No one did so I left. Looks like a nice place but there was no help or direction for a new person like myself. Not good.

Cam did a great job with my hair :) very sweet and charged me a very reasonable price, my bew favorate hairdresser

My hair stylist moved here when they opened. I love the concept and know it works well for her. Very confident and lots of variety and choices of services.

Lots of independent beauty services, from hair nails skin and rejuvenating services in one stop. Great if new in town and dont know someone to get a referral on where to go.

Skincare by Vy is hands down the best place for all your facial, eyelashes and basically anything skincare related. My go to spot in SD.

Cool place to find a stylist for a Male haircut, worth the $35. Great energy in here too.

Agree with prior review, walked in hoping for a walk-in haircut, looked nice but waited almost 10 minutes and there was nobody around to help. 3 people who walked in looked like they worked there but walked right past me (I was clearly standing ag the desk waiting to be helped) without asking if I had been helped at all. Why even havd aahelp desk if no one is there to help. Bad layout and service. Took my money and service elsewhere.

Not sure why they opened up in the same center as a masseuse. Or with all the small mom nail and hair shops here already?? Not their fault really. There seems to be a problem with the property managers. Small businesses get larger chains placed near them and they are forced out of business.
