If it is possible to enjoy a trip to the dentist, Dr. Rasmussen almost makes it happen. I feel assured that my dental prosthetic problems are carefully being taken care of by Dr. Rasmussen. And his office staff are professional and helpful.

Dr. Rasmussen is one of the best! Hes toe point with what work is essential, and completes the work skillfully and dependably. Hes good and reliable; you pay for what you get, and worth it!

I’ve had two appointments with Dr. Rasmussen and in both instances found him to be a very attentive doctor. He takes the time to listen to your concerns, focuses on your issues and gets to the base of your problem. He is very clear and direct in communicating so that you understand his diagnosis and the steps to get results. The staff is friendly and efficient in their patient relations, including assisting and in testing.

Today I took my mother-in-law to see Dr. Rasmussen for a consultation. She had a new denture made a year and a half ago somewhere else. Since that time she had two implants fail and needed to have another new denture made. From the time we got there and throughout our visit all of the staff was warm and welcoming. I wish I knew all of their names so I could list them here. Vanessa was wonderful! Dr. Rasmussen was so down to earth, informative and helpful. He was also so gracious and understanding of her situation. He even offered to extract one of her implants (it was mobile)at no cost. We wish we would’ve seen Dr. Rasmussen a year and a half ago. As we left we told there would be no charge for the consultation. What a wonderful surprise! We would definitely recommend Dr. Rasmussen!

I was referred to Rasmussen Prosthodontics by my dentist would was unable to remove a cold-welded abutment from a failed prosthetic tooth. He got it off in minutes. A few weeks later, my new molar was installed and its as solid as any tooth in my head. The whole process inspired confidence and Id definitely see him again should the need arise.

Dr. Rasmussen is an amazing Prosthodontic, this is really important when you tried to be with a specialist, the diagnostic is just one ! The treatment could be more than two, and he has all the knowledge to share with the patient and lead the people to take the best option for the treatment. I’m a little picky !!!! Seriously amazing. I had troubles previously with getting my night guard to fit and work properly. They made me a new one and not only does it fit perfectly it’s comfortable and my jaw pain is barely noticeable. Their staff is so helpful and so sweet. You rock!

My visit to Rasmussen Prosthodontics was very good. However, one of the wires in my mouthpiece is pinching on my cheek occasionally so I may need to have that part of my mouthpiece adjusted. But overall, all is well and Im happy about the service provided to me.

Dr. Rasmussen and his assistant were very thorough with my care. One of my implants failed and he removed it. I will wait for his letter and email about his next plans. Due to COVID-19 pandemic virus his waiting room was closed. He was able to keep his office open for one patient at a time. I am glad I made this trip to Salt Lake City and attended the appointment.

Dr. Rasmussen is kind and cares about his patients. One of my crowns kept falling off and he replaced it with a brand new crown at no cost to me. He is personable and asks questions about my life. His questions make me feel like a patient with a name that he cares about instead of a patient with no name that he just needs to check off his schedule.

Dr. Rasmussen and his team are the best, second to none!! I had a particularly challenging case with my 6 front upper crowns. My experience with them and the results were life changing for me. Before I went to consult with Dr Rasmussen, I had seen two other prosthodontists to do my crowns, Dr Nicholas Egbert and that didn’t go well. I went to Dr Troy Winegar the second time. They both promised great results and the “Hollywood” smile. Dr Egbert did crowns that were beautiful but ended up being so different than my original teeth that the crowns were biting my lip and causing sores and swelling. Changed the shape of my mouth. It didn’t feel like me. Dr Egbert was frustrated at having to redo the job and I didn’t feel he had my best interest at heart. He wouldn’t listen to me, he wanted to charge me more for a redo when it really wasn’t my fault the teeth were digging in my lip. He wanted to give the smile he wanted, not the smile I wanted. I decided to cut my losses and see someone else. I went to Dr. Winegar. Same story. After he did new crowns, Still pain with my teeth biting my lip, and the crowns were opaque and didn’t look good, they looked worse. The teeth were still too forward and my mouth felt different. He basically told me there was nothing else to do. It took me one year before gathering the courage and the money to try again. That’s when I found Dr Rasmussen. He and his team were AMAZING! He is the most patient understanding man, he was interested in making sure I was happy with my smile and that I was comfortable. His lab Ceramist Trent does beautiful work. We had to do a lot of adjustments and Dr Rasmussen never made me feel bad or stressed when something wasn’t working. He never told me he couldn’t fix this or that, like the others told me. He always found a solution. He really had my back and that relieved so much of my stress. He listened, he was interested in giving me the smile I wanted instead of selling me the smile he thought I should want. His team is top notch. I felt welcome with every visit. We now have completed the work and I’m 100% happy with my smile, it’s comfortable, it looks natural, and it’s what I wanted. I smile more than I have in the past few years. If you need help with your teeth, take it from me, don’t waste your time and money elsewhere, go see Dr Rasmussen. A big thanks to him, all his team and to Trent at the lab. They’re the best!!

Dr. Rasmussen created a very complicated bridge for the top of my mouth. The bridge is made from zirconium and attaches to two implants and two natural teeth. Dr. Rasmussen and his team spent a considerable amount of time making sure everything was perfect. I cannot recommend them enough. The staff is professional, appointments are kept on time and if you are in the Salt Lake City area his office is the place to go for prosthodontics work. The bridge is permanent and does not have to be removed from my mouth. Worth every penny.

Dr. Rasmussen and his whole staff were so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. They made sure I was always satisfied and happy with the work. All the assistants always knew my name and made me feel welcome and comfortable.

An unfortunate situation and an expensive mistake to see this dentist: This office was highly recommended to us as newcomers to Salt Lake. Initially, the staff was friendly. However, the staff is not adequately supervised. First, my husband returned from an office visit, concerned that a tech was grinding on his implant and denture without dentist supervision. I assumed this was an anomaly, until I went. At my visit, a tech took out the denture (connected to implants) for cleaning. The tech was gone for an unexpectedly long time, and when she returned my denture, it was permanently damaged. For some strange reason, one of the sides was ground down to the point that they had to build up the side again with a composite patch that really did not work. Simultaneously, the back implant screw head area was ground down to the point that the composite cover kept popping off. I was having to go at least 3 times in a month to get this repaired. On each subsequent visit, the staff was less friendly. The Dr. Rasmussen was downright chilly when I asked for him to repair the denture rather than one of the techs. I finally went to another prosthodontic office in Salt Lake to have my denture repaired. I had to spend almost $6000 to have the denture remade. My husband and I both wish we had never encountered this dental office.FOLLOW-UP TO OWNER RESPONSE: I have not checked this review in over a year. Please note, as stated in my original review, the staff and dentist were very aware of problems at the time of occurrence, via multiple phone calls and office visits. The review reference to ...Dr. Rasmussen was downright chilly when I asked for him to repair the denture rather than one of the techs, describes my 3rd office visit to repair problems, after I had previously notified them of the issues.

I was one of those that did not have good immediate results with my implants. I developed a sinus infection that I just couldnt get rid of. That resulted in removal of one zygome implant and many other problems. Throughout this entire ordeal over a total of 2 years, Dr. Rasmussen and staff did everything they could to facilitate the healing process and assist me as needed.I cannot praise nor thank them enough for what they did for me.
