The team at iSmile in the Avenues is such a dedicated, professional, and fun team. Starting with Kim at the front desk, my experience here was pleasant. They walked me through every step of the process and I felt so comfortable in their care. I got 3 crowns done in one visit which wasn’t easy work for either of us, but they are passionate about what they do. The lead DDS, Dr. Barton, is truly such a good man. There were a handful of supporting members on the team that I can’t recall by name but everyone was so amazing! They also worked great with my insurance to make sure I got the best deal for my work. 3 crowns done for less than $1500 and they are literally perfect. They even adjusted the temporaries because they were hurting and did so swiftly, and also adjusted the permanents slightly just to make sure they were perfect. When all was done they even called me to check in on me and sent me a post card. If you’re reading a bad review about iSmile, it’s either super old or just exaggerated or false. I wouldn’t ever go to another dentist!

This is a very good place to get dental work done. They are very understanding. To make a long story short, I thought I had dental insurance, but it turns out that I did not. Rather than charge me for an exam plus x-rays, they did not end up charging me. On top of this, they are very friendly, and help out any way they can when people have anxiety about dental work.I have no idea how their prices compare to others, but the quality is not lacking.

Ive been coming here since about 2012. Kim always works with my payment plans. Everyone here has been amazing and made me feel comfortable and spoke to me in baby language because I dont understand dental talk. Theyre helping me keep my beautiful smile. I just got back from getting my temporary crown put back in after it fell out, Aimee was amazing , answering my questions and making sure my temp. Crown fits and feels comfortably. Also it’s been like hanging out like friends every few weeks since quarantine started, and the orthodontist has been one of the only places I go.i could never say enough good things about Aubrey. 🥰

Billing department is a nightmare. Even if you have insurance you’re constantly paying out of pocket here. They diagnose practically everyone with periodontist disease so you have to go every 3 months even when your insurance only covers 2 cleanings a year. When you explain that, they are beyond rude and make you feel obligated. I was also called the wrong name every time - I was a patient for over a year. How do I even know I was being billed correctly? I could go on and on. Just go somewhere else.

Let’s be honest no one “loves” going to the dentist, but when you choose ISmile you forget that you’re at the dentist. Dr. Barton is lovely. Kim at new front desk is Amazing, she makes every experience better than the last. Aubrey, is great! I love working with her. Brittany is one of the best hygienists I’ve EVER worked with. How many times have you gone to the dentist and left smiling? None, right? Well then you havent been to iSmile. I was greeted at the front desk with a smile, I was escorted to the patients room with another friendly lady that smiled, then another friendly, smiling person made me comfortable until the doctor came in. He was friendly too, and immediately put me at ease.Then a miracle happened. Before I knew it Dr. Barton had finished working on me and I hadnt experienced any pain yet. Tell me thats not a miracle. Right? I know. Yes, I left iSmile smiling too. Now my teeth look great. Dump the guy that worked on you last and schedule an appointment with them. You wont be sorry.

The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. The hygienist was condescending and narcissistic. Very unprofessional all around. Don’t go here. Save yourself the unpleasant time.

This dental office is just fantastic, it has very welcoming feeling and is covid safe from when you walk in the door. They work with your schedule and are very flexible. I just got a cleaning there and the hygienist Britney made me feel very comfortable, was super friendly and did a fantastic job (didnt stab my gums) and a big win with no cavities.

I Smile is by far the best dentist in Salt Lake, apart from their great staff and very friendly environment. They accepted me with open hands and took over, even though I had braces put on in Mexico. (No other orthodontist accept 3rd party members)

Im beyond frustrated with Ismile! They have made multiple mistakes to the point where I cried in the office and the dentist had no remorse and said I dont know why youre crying. They have made appointments and then cancel with out telling me. They billed me when I already paid the bill. Do not go to Ismile unless you want to be taken advantage of! Dont recommend them to anyone!

I’ve had rough experiences in the past with other dentists who are a little rough and painful, but here they are mindful about your comfort level and make it as painless as possible. ISmile is the best! I was seen short notice for a pretty serious break to my tooth. The front reception got me set up and scheduled to be seen right away. All the staff was great! Very fun environment to be in and very knowledgeable with their work which makes going to the dentist so much more comfortable and fun. Dr. Barton was able to get right to work on evaluating the break and ensuring the best possible plan to fix my tooth. I’d recommend this office to anyone and will continue to see the iSmile group for all my future dental work!

Quick easy root canal. Good price until they Send you another bill saying you owe more. I paid the day of in full but they still say I owe 300. Theyre hard to get a hold of to even fix this.

Fun fast and friendly lovely office

Usually going to a dentist’s office is a chore but, at this place I enjoy going each and every time. All of the employees are very professional yet still friendly. Aiden, the dental worker who has been working on my teeth over the past couple of years is great at what he does and makes me feel calm and comfortable throughout the entire visit, every time.

The hygienist and quote lady were super friendly. The office is cute. They are up to date on lots of technology. I recommend this place.

So I’m changing my review from 5 stars a year ago to one star because I’m now getting a bill for ~$600 from something that was done a year ago. My bill says 90 days past due and it’s the very first bill I’ve seen from them after I paid up front for everything. I’m sorry that you’re bad at guessing what insurance will pay, but maybe get better at that so your customers aren’t getting a surprise later down the road. Ive referred people there and they are getting bills now too. I’m glad I’ve found another dentist is all I can say.

I was referred here due to a work injury, and they have been amazing to work with. Workers comp isn’t the easiest to work with, but Kim has done a great job getting me the services i need.Kim is always super friendly and polite to patients, she knows most people by their first name and recognizes you the second you walk in. One of my best experiences at the dentist ever! Kim was able to get me in really soon after an old filling of mine fell out. I was really nervous because Id been traumatized by other dentists in the past, but Lauren, the dental assistant, was so nice and Dr. Erikson was super gentle, worked quickly, and walked me through the whole process. I hardly had any pain afterward, whereas my previous experiences had left me with sensitivity for weeks. If youre looking for quality dental work and a positivity experience, Id highly reccomend their team!

I’ve been with Ismile for a couple years now. I have 2 kids in braces. The staff is beyond helpful in getting me in every month with my busy schedule. I’m surprised reading some of the negative reviews because all of my visits have been great. I have no insurance and find the prices to be better than offices closer to me. The staff is professional and friendly.Kim is great to work with and is very accommodating. I don’t see myself going anywhere else.

I’ve had two dental emergencies in the past 3 months and every single time Kim was beyond helpful and Dr. Erickson was so kind and helpful. This office has made these dental emergencies less painful than they already are. I’ll suggest them every single time and have since I first started coming here over a year ago.

Terrible customer service! The issues all started when I tried to call and update my insurance with them over the phone. The 3 different people I spoke to were wildly unhelpful and rude. I was later contacted my someone named Kim because she noticed my insurance was out of date. I tried to update through her. She tried to rectify the bad service with free bleach trays but scheduled me for 9am on a Thursday— their office is not open at that time. She refuses to believe she would schedule an appointment for that time thus abandoning responsibility. I have ZERO confidence in their customer service and ZERO confidence and their reliability. This dentist is not worth anyone item. Look elsewhere!!

I was so impressed with this office!! Everyone was friendly and professional, and Dr. Erickson did great work. I got their in-house whitening done last week - it was completely painless and my teeth are whiter than I ever thought they could be!!! Ill be recommending iSmile to all my friends.

Despite the extra driving time required, I have been very pleased with the service and care I have received.The staff has always been caring and professional, especially the office manager Kim.
