Dr. Butler in my mind is the best GI Doc in the DMV. He always listens to my concerns and comes up with a solution to solve my healthcare needs. 5-Stars all around and I highly recommend Capital Digestive Care!

Dr. Butler is a knowledgeable, kind, caring doctor who listens to any and all concerns and helps his patients find the best care for what they are dealing with. I am so grateful I found him and he has stuck with me through my illness over the last 20+ years.

Before the appointment I was asked to list all my information (Name, address, prescriptions, family history, etc) online. WHICH I DID. It took 20-25 minutes. When I got there they asked me the exact same questions and even stated that they had no access or had not seen the web site they had sent to me online. It was pretty frustrating to go through all that trouble for nothing.

Dr. Butler; listens to his patients and gives them his full attention! I highly recommend this office.

My husband, Sunderan Moses, had an endoscopy done by Dr. Butler last week. When, selecting a doctor from those in the practice, I went sort-of eeny-meeny and asked for him! We were so fortunate. From our first facetime appointment with him, he put us at ease, answered our questions and never made us feel rushed. At the time of the procedure, Sunderan said, his surgeon in such a happy frame of mind, he almost forgot that he was there for a surgical procedure. Seems Dr. Butler was completely professional, but also very pleasant and jolly! The procedure went well and my husband is already feeling positive results from the problem he had. Also, Shady Grove hospital and staff were excellent.

He has been our doctor for years. He identified a problem with my husband four years ago that lead him down the path of a liver transplant. I have a family history of colon cancer - he has removed several polyps that are tubular adenomas (precancerous) and has kept a watchful eye on my health.
