More like a resort vs a gym. Food brought to you as you hang out pool side or the outdoor hot tub. Lockers with working locks- you don’t have to bring your own lock like at other gyms.

My 5 yr. Old had swim lessons and became comfortable with his instructor immediately. He was successful and became friends with several staff. The change room for families is clean and organized. Our first day there, we were assisted by a camp staffer who was supervising her charges. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Other services that I saw include a restaurant and hair design salon. There may be more, but we were impressed with our experiences!

I just rejoined against my better judgment. Here is the thingThey offer no veterans discount. Just about everyone doesBut the thing that gets me is the fee to use the pool. It is 150 dollars for the three of us. The place is wonderful don’t get me wrong but there is an additional fee for just about everythingSo if you do not mind paying 194 a month plus a 150 pool fee. This is the place for youThe only reason I rejoined is because of our 9 year oldOh and they will say they do offer a vet discount but that is only on the joining fee which is zeroA great place but way too expensive

This place used to be great when I became a member four years ago.. But now the prices keep going up and the service keeps getting worse. All they care about is more members = more money. The quality of this place seems like the typical big business cutting corners to make the business more money. And if you dont like it, too bad. There seems to be plenty of people that can afford this place more than I, but put up with the decline... 🤷‍♀️

I had a membership here through a corporate account and was told by staff that my account would cancel if the corporate account were to cancel. Long story short the corporate account cancelled and they charged me 11 times what I was paying a month. As I requested a refund they told me tough luck and that they would not refund me any money. I am sick of companies like this putting you on auto pay and then when they make a mistake they just tell you to hit the road. Very disappointed that these guys would steal money. Overpriced gym and not a customer focused place.

I been a member going on 4 years. When I first got there the facilities were emaculent. The weight room always easy to maneuver through. The basketball courts clean and swept. The basketball goals safe for play. As time went on the care for the facility in the gym area mainly the goals are not maintained properly. Leaves open opportunities for members and guest of members to possible get hurt. At the high price tag we pay to be there this should never be a issue but it is. Numours time issues have been reported but no change. Play at your own risk I say but I dont believe thats what they say. Other wise it was fun at the start.

Do not like the way they handled covid and membership holds. I was a member for years and enjoyed going. When I became pregnant during covid I expressed my hesitation returning. They kindly put my account on hold. However, after being contacted that I would only be on hold for a short time longer, I stated(and they sent me all the documents of our interactions including this one) that I would want to cancel. I received an email on Dec 27 and was charged Jan 1. This to me was sneaky and unfair given the last interaction I had. I did not unfortunately check my email over winter holiday and saw it once I was already charged. I spoke to them and was charged again in February. They reimbursed me for that thankfully but not January. It has been such a head ache just trying to cut ties with this place and I don’t feel valued as a member at all. It’s clearly all about the money for them. Too bad for what I thought was once a great club and enjoyed the trainers.

Ive been a member at this gym for nearly 5 years. Overall, the facility is clean and very well-kept. There are lots of amenities and plenty of cardio machines, weights, and power-lifting racks. It does tend to get a little crowded during peaks hours but if you work your schedule around them, you can get in a great workout. The locker room is fairly clean as well. There are plenty of fresh towels and personal hygiene items, the bathrooms are usually clean, and I rarely have trouble finding a vacant shower. The spas and saunas are also very nice. The janitorial staff usually keep to themselves but are friendly if you get to know them or have a question.Plenty of people have already mentioned it over the years, but one negative aspect of this gym doesnt seem to change. The customer service is usually non-existent or poor at best. Did you forgot your locker combination? Someone will show up to help with a poor attitude. Need to suspend/cancel your membership? Expect issues or miscommunication. Did you greet/acknowledge a staff member? Its hit or miss whether he/she will acknowledge you or continue on about his/her business. This is not to say every single one of my experiences with the staff or trainers has been negative, but the atmosphere here isnt always welcoming. Also, Ive never participated in a group class so I cant speak on them. All that being said, the club provides almost all of what I need to stay in shape, relax, and have fun. Some members can be uppity, (remember youre paying 5 times what a regular gym would cost) but most people are friendly or minding their own business. Finally, the location is in a pretty nice, calm area and the club itself is well designed. I enjoy my workouts here and dont plan to leave anytime soon.

My wife and three teenage boys love this Lifetime. We joined about 3 months before it opened and Lifetime gave the entire family a very inexpensive rate at one of their other local gyms for a VERY inexpensive price that was valid until the new club opened. I loved that this place was clean and not as dirty as fitness connections. I would like to have given it five stars but everything including the membership was way to expensive for a gym membership. 70 reaching $90 is crazy and the amenities is not worth a price point such as that. I would say more around $40 minimum would be what this place would be worth per month. Training is really expensive and so is the food/salon and the guest policy is kind of DUMB...other than that I liked the gym but it better be built with gold toilets and dollar bills for toilet paper if their going to charge so much per month...more bench press and squat racks also.

I started training with him a few months ago with great results, but only just last week sat down to do a nutritional consultation. He really knows his stuff and I left with a very specific plan on what to eat, when, and why. We hammered out meal plans (including pre and post workout meals) and did some troubleshooting so Im prepared for common pitfalls. A week later, the numbers dont lie and I couldnt be more pleased. I have done nutritional consults with dietitians at the doctors office as well as other gyms, but this is by far the most helpful and useful one. Nate responds quickly with questions and checks in to see how things are going. With his knowledge and positive attitude, Im staying on track and on my way to reaching my wellness goals.

Derek Nereu, Cathy K., Marcy B., Robyn Z., Cami M., Bianca P., Ryan Z., and the rest of the incredibly helpful and cheerful staff are at your service. Ive read some of these reviews that have less than 5 stars and I can tell those people that they need to start their own business and deal with the General Public, theyd run a 1 star facility and that would be hard for them to maintain. Heres the deal. IF you are responsible. IF you are a Team Player. IF you arent whining and complaining all the time, this club is for you. The staff is great, there are some members though who should not be members here because theyre not only rude, they dont belong in a place that is specifically meant to make you a better, healthier, and more pleasant person. Youre joining to push yourself out of your comfort zone, become a better person, live life like you mean it. Thats what working out does for you. It inspires you to be a better person. Of course, if you take offense at this 5-star review and youre negative all the time, this is probably not your place. Lifetimes motto is to have happy, pleasant and positive people in their club.

The Falls of Neuse Life Time Fitness is a great facility and the facilities were well maintained during our time there. It has many things to do and the various equipment allow you to do many types of exercises. However, there are two complaints: The Kids’ Center and the guest policy. Our child had an unfortunate incident in which she was assaulted by another child under their supervision. The response was unreassuring and as a result we cancelled our child’s membership. We also had a family friend whose daughter had a similar experience and they pulled their child out of the center for good as well. We continued to come out and did activities as a family, but the incident left a lasting impression not only with us, but for others. It would be too concerning to place our children there especially at the age when they cannot verbalize. We eventually joined a gym where we can confidently leave our children in their care during our workouts. The guest policy can be frustrating and it may be so to promote exclusivity. However, it can be a bummer when you invite a few people in a span of year to introduce them to the life time experience and have them feel not so welcomed.

Unlike the first review that was written with a one star, my experience has been very good. I have been out of the gym scene for years now. From the time that I inquired about membership through my first time using the gym this past week, I have had nothing but a great experience. Oh, with one minor exception, there was an issue with my debit card in the cafe which the manager stepped in and promptly handled. I love the size of this facility and the amenities. The first reviewer wrote about this facility not being 24/7. Well, its 4 a.m. to 12 a.m. which should cover most people. Since I got in as a founding member because I inquired in time, I cannot speak for how the membership compares. I just know that my wife and I believe that the price we pay for a facility like this is within our budget. You should at least tour the facility and form your own opinion. As for me, I have to get my butt in there and get back in shape.

Facility is much more adequate than the nearby gym I left and is a modern updated design though I am not a huge fan of the burgundy seat covers in the weights section.I enjoy many of the classes and there are plenty from which to choose. Only exception is the yoga class which features odd moves, rap songs and overall is big departure from typical healing yoga forms. The manager is always acting very fake with artificial smiling and asking the three of us what class we took and if we enjoyed it. Also it is somewhat irony that he is overweight and managing a facility dedicated to health and well being of people. Additionally, all my friends are Indian that attend gym with me and they all share same sentiment that the management are hostile towards the South Asian community. It is very sad in this day and age to experience something like this.Front desk is always lovely and pleasant and always greet me and my friends with our given names.Cafe has so many delicious items but the price is quite high even higher than the Whole Foods Market. Unfortunately I stopped using the cafe after a large protein and vanilla shaker became $9.Locker room is clean but too many young kids running around in the day and weekend is dangerous and annoying because the parents allow them to run wild. Also I see many employee of the gym opening multiple locker for no reason. Not sure if this is the policy for them to open and check all locker but it seems invading of our private space we are using. Also, even a less expensive gym provide the shampoo and body wash but this place over here cannot. I did CrossFit at ocean isle beach and Myrtle beach for 85 dollars a month) If you liked to be lied to about a three day trial pass that will be emailed to you so that way you can see if you will fit in with the other members then this place is for you!Basically bottom line this place is 3 stars for a reason and honestly if your new to Raleigh do not waste your time at the fall of Neuse Raleigh location!!The sales guy that showed me around was basically a joke!!

Ive sent them a letter saying I moved away from any Lifetime gyms within 50 miles and they are still charging my account without permission. I called the 800 number and they gave me the run around and said they would take care of it. Yet today I have another charge on my account.

Great place with included hot yoga, steam rooms that have smell like Eucalyptus mint, and an awesome outdoor pool. Only reason its 4 stars is because of the price of membership. Its already at times over-crowded, even at that price, too...

My experience has been one that I knew the end results, tell you everything you need to hear to get you in then that great communication stops. So I will call corporate tomorrow and cancel my membership. Good bye!

While going here may have been nice, and the facility is nice, dont plan on being able to cancel your membership easily if you move, a simple call or email will not do you have to jump through hoops they also sign you up for one price and jack it up by almost half after a month. The managers could care less as long as they have your money.

Ill start with the positive. This is a beautiful and expansive facility with lots of amenities. The physical aspect of this location is more than adequate. However, if my job did not pay the majority of my membership dues, I would cancel my membership. The customer service is consistently horrible. Ive noticed that when members lock themselves out of their locker, the staff seem bothered to help them. Last night in fact, an older locked herself out of her locker. She was trying to speak to the staff member to understand what she did wrong and the employee was talking very fast and rushed through her explanation as if she did not have time to help. One of my friends needed help getting into his locker and an employee who was actively cleaning the sinks said he could not help him because he was off the clock. The sales team is not friendly unless you are bringing in someone who might potentially join the club. Other than that, you are not a priority.Took me a week to add someone to my account. It would be helpful to post the pool schedule in the locker rooms so people dont come to the gym expecting to swim only to find out that both pools are reserved for adult and kids swim practice. Ive wasted two trips to the gym only to find out that all lanes were reserved. For the amount of money paid in dues, I would expect a much better experience. Instead, I always feel as if Lifetime feels like its doing me a favor by allowing me to be a member. The majority of the facility needs a lesson in putting the customer first and exercising soft skills.
