I have been going to Village Dental for over ten years and I am so pleased with the care they give. The sedation is awesome if you are having work done and dont want to deal with pain! I cannot praise them enough! Very best dental team I have ever used, I am confident in the work they do and recommend the Brier Creek location.

Morgan and Jean were amazing to work with. Morgan made me feel comfortable all while we enjoyed many laughs. Jean has been by far the B-E-S-T Dental Hygienist I have ever had in 25 years. The office was nice and clean as well. Once I left, I immediately called 3 close friends and told them about my experience and why they should visit the Brier Creek location. As for me, I am using them for another procedure in about a week.

The team who worked with me was incredibly attentive, caring and empathetic. I feel very uncomfortable at the dentist normally due to anxiety and tooth sensitivity, but I felt that they actually listened to my concerns and made sure I felt comfortable and at ease.

I love Village Dental! I have been going here since I moved from California. I had my first visit at this location since my favorite dentist Dr. Wheeler moved from their Raleigh Location. My DA Nicole was amazing. She was so friendly and sweet. She made me feel comfortable and made, what could have been an uncomfortable/painful experience, really not bad at all. She also has really fun gel pens which were a plus. Highly recommend you come here!

I had a major toothache. Lindsay at the front desk was absolutely wonderful in getting me scheduled for an appointment the same day (today 8-16-21). I think that the dentists and support staff at Village Dental are absolutely fantastic, extremely professional, and worth a full five stars. They were incredibly friendly and it was a pleasure to go there.My concern is more with the confusing billing services. Initially I was told that the x-ray for new patients would be free, and then was told that whitening would also be covered by insurance since the x ray was free. A few months later I received a bill for over 100 dollars because apparently, since the whitening was free so they billed for the x-ray and insurance didnt cover everything.Being billed unexpectedly can be stressful. If you go, be sure to ask questions about pricing and confirm what is free and what is not in writing!UPDATE:I was contacted and was told the billing was a clerical error. Ive updated my rating to reflect this. Nonetheless, be sure to straighten out what will and wont be charged before you leave to avoid confusion in the future.

Staffing is literally the sweetest and super kind. Very polite and friendly. Went for a free exam and got a quote for my wisdom teeth which helped out a lot so I know how much I need to save up and pay

Dr.wheeler has been my doctor since 2015. I have real bad gag reflex ect. She always make me feel comfortable and does her best to keep me safe. I have allergies and for years she has accommodated me and never made me feel like I didnt have options when it came to my teeth. She strives to help people with a genuine smile, attitude, and spirit. Some of the toughest things/moments for me are given compassion and patience. There are people in this world that are magically beautiful inside and out. She is one of them. I appreciate all she does for me. Thank you Morgan as well. I cant remember the other names for this location but just know I drive to the other side of town to see Dr.Wheeler. My 30 minutes drives are worth it. Shes my doctor and I trust her and the things she tells me. If you are looking for a great doctor 👩🏽‍⚕️. Shes the one.

I’m not a fan of the dentist but this office makes it easy to get my dental work done and not be uneasy about it! Morgan and Dr. Wheeler saw me when I came in for my first visit and they were AMAZING. Then! They actually fit me into their schedule and I got some fillings the same day! The other assistant, Nicole is very nice and informative. If your looking for a new dental office please stop your search and come here- you won’t regret it!

My experience at Village Dental was excellent. I was recommended by a family member and their team did not disappoint. Very friendly staff welcomed me as I entered the building as well as to the treatment area. Dr. Wheeler listened to my needs and her assistant Morgan was a awesome!! I’ve had a wonderful experience at Village Dental thus far. The front office staff is very friendly, and makes an effort to personally greet you each time you walk in. Dr. Wheeler, Morgan, and Nicole handled me with care, and continuously asked if I was okay throughout my procedures here. I’ve been coming to village dental for a year or so now and every experience has been wonderful. From the Doctors all the way to the people at the front desk everyone is great. Nicole my dental assistant, I believe, is especially wonderful. She is extremely kind and aware of any discomfort that comes along with the procedures. So, the reassurance of positivity and the great conversation has lead to wonderful experiences.

THIS IS LITERALLY THE BEST TO GET A SURGERY. Ever since I did the paperwork, I was extremely paranoid of the drugs I will have to take rather the the surgery itself; however, they took care of me soooooo well that I felt like the same person I was before the surgery. The crew made me chose music I like ( BIGGIE) and it was just a vibe all the way through. By the way, I am writing this after 3 hours of my surgery of 4 wisdom teeth removal. AMAZING PLACE, PEOPLE, SERVICE, PRICE, and EQUIPMENT.

Highly recommend! We just started going to this office again since Village Dental took over from the old owners. All the staff were great- very friendly, thorough, efficient and all seemed to be happy to be there. They were short staffed the day I was there, but I wouldnt have known it if they hadnt told me. My 7 year old was beaming after his appointment because the staff took such great care of him and kept telling him how cute he was :). Happy to finally have a dental team we trust and will recommend to others!

I have had terrible experiences going to the dentist in the past, my previous dentist did not take proper care of my teeth. Because of this, I have high anxiety about going to the dentist in general. I chose to visit Village Dental on an emergency basis due to one of my veneers breaking. From the time I walked in to walking out, the staff provided excellent care and compassion! They were upfront and open about everything from what I need done to the cost. No surprises!! If you are looking for an excellent dental office for yourself or your child, I would highly recommend giving Village Dental a chance, you won’t be disappointed!

I had a issue from some work done by another dentist and wanted to be checked out as I was experiencing some pain. I called Village Dental and spoke with Lindsay in the morning. I explained my situation and that I had some pain and she said I could come in right away. I called around prior to calling Village Dental to see if I could get an immediate appointment and Village Dental was the only dental office that wanted to help me right away. I filled out the new patient forms online and went down to their office. Morgan took me right away and took x-rays, checked my bite and took videos. She was fast and efficient. Dr. Wheeler then saw me and was very helpful with walking me through the exam. When I was finished, Morgan took me back out to Lindsay for checkout. She informed me there was no charge for new patients so I did not owe anything for todays visit. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist. When the time comes, I will visit them again.

Just took my daughter for her very first dentist visit. Everyone was so kind and welcoming and she did great! Got her teeth cleaned and she was so happy to get an Elsa toothbrush at the end. Thanks Village Dental!

I had a deep cleaning as well as a bottom back tooth extraction on 2/26/2021. Dr Wheeler took care of me from the beginning to the end making sure I had everything I needed regarding my procedure she was very thorough.I received a text message by Ally on Saturday to follow up with me to see how I was doing I was impressed by this gesture taking the time out on the weekend when the office was closed to check on me.unfortunately by the 3rd day I was back at Village Dental. I had to go to the Olde Raleigh Location only because brier creek location is not open on Monday’s I was in severe pain only, because food got into the extraction & Dr Wheeler stated that was common, however I need to be extremely careful not to get food into the extraction & I was giving a irrigated syringe to irrigate if I needed to after I ate.Of course I irrigated too much & caused a dry socket. I contacted the office via text message & I got an opportunity to speak with Morgan who was very helpful & suggested I go into the office immediately after showing her pictures she determined it was a dry socket. I was scheduled for the six forks location this time , because brier creek isn’t open on Wednesday’s as well & Morgan thought it would be comfortable for me to see a familiar face which was alley.I was seen by Ally as well as another dentist medicine was put in my mouth & I was told to take it easy for 48 hours by this time I was a wreck, however the staff was amazing up until I contacted brier creek location the next day to request for a Doctors note for work.Brittany is the young lady at the brier creek location that sits at the front desk who answers your calls whenever you call the office , very polite, professional, willing to help in anyway she can. I explained to Brittany I needed a Doctors note for work due to me having a dry socket which is very painful by the way.Crystal contacted me back & told me it was unethical to give me a doctors note for the days I was asking for. According to the pain level I was feeling that day & the symptoms I was experiencing...pain was radiating down my face, I had a massive headache, my ear was hurting. I had no clue what was going on with me until I researched dry socket I was new to this entire process & according to my research everything I was experiencing was common after everything I had been through The conversation became very argumentative, disheartening, unprofessional, insensitive & very ugly.As an administrator assistant she had no authority to to determine my level of care or treatment only a doctor can determine that with the climate of the world we live in I immediately felt verbally attacked & stereotyped because I was a black women if I had of been a white women would she had of giving me such a hard time for requesting a doctors note, I would never no that because I’m not white.The reasoning behind this long review is to make it crystal clear this type of behavior is not tolerated by a professional that suppose to render a service & out of all my great encounters with so many wonderful people I had the pleasure of communicating with. The encounter with crystal is the one I remember the most because how she made me feel. I definitely was not valued as a patient & Crystal needs to be held accountable for her actions. She was too comfortable to communicate with me in the tone & manner I received, as a manager of this practice Crystal made her entire team look bad.Dr Wheeler did get wind of everything that transpired & she contacted me immediately. As a provider Dr Wheeler showed empathy and concerns to my needs...she was very attentive, apologetic and concerned. I really appreciate Dr Wheeler for her care & treatment. I am thankful that Dr Wheeler took my concerns seriously & they didn’t fall on deaf ears. This practice is receiving 5 stars, because of Dr Wheeler, Ally, Morgan and Brittany thank you all so much for your professionalism, encouraging words as well as knowledge regarding my care & treatment.

Was told my insurance would cover the cleaning 100% was then billed $77 two months later and they said my insurance didn’t cover enough. Wouldn’t have went. Also was told I needed all four wisdom teeth out. I’m 30 and all previous dentists said they were fine. Company just wants money don’t go here.

My dental surgery went great and I barely have any pain after getting two extractions, fillings and periodontal cleaning with sedation today. The team there is non-judgmental, lgbT friendly and restored my faith in dentistry. The last two dentist I had were not positive experiences and last one left me in tears leading me to put off work I desperately needed for almost two years. This team took the time to educate me and get to the root of my fears and made excellent accomadation to that. I highly recommend anyone needing dental work to come here and give them a try. Best dentist I have ever been to! I went in for some filling work last Friday and they recommended that my wisdom teeth be removed. Ever since I was a child, I have had a mild fear of the dentist, but my surgeon/dentist at Village Dental was phenomenal with easing my concerns. Dr. Wheeler and Ally are gold! I went ahead and had the fillings taken care of along with the four wisdom teeth all in one visit! They sedated me around 11:15am and I woke up at 3:02pm with no memory of last four hours.During my recovery, I had no swelling (I believe this is because my wisdom teeth had already erupted and were “easier” to pull; your case may be different). Pain was the worst on days 3 and 4, but the medicine they prescribe works like a charm!Village Dental in Brier Creek will be my dentist and my children’s dentist until the end of time!

I am very disappointed with the way everything happened at this office as I was very pleased with my care and the dentist and her assistants that helped with my deep cleaning and fillings. I am leaving a 2 star review because they NEVER disclosed to me that I was out of network. I have a ppo plan so they accept my insurance but if I am out of network it is much more expensive out of pocket cost. I found this dentist on my dental Insurances website (which it is no longer listed on and I have no way of proving I found them there) I was given a quote of an estimate of the out of pocket cost for the work I was having done which was 875 dollars. After paying that at the time of service, a few weeks later I was notified I owe over 400 more dollars because my insurance downgraded my coverage which turned out not to be true. The issue came down to the fact that I was out of network. When I asked why no one told me they basically in other words said they do not have to disclose that information and I didnt ask. In the real world we are not all professionals on insurance and my not know the right questions to ask. This is a great dentist but if you go PLEASE ask a lot of questions to them and your insurance company before proceeding and be aware that their payment schedule is just a guesstimate of what they THINK your insurance will cover because the chances of you owning more money after is very high. They will not be transparent with you of the costs and will not willingly give you the information to make an informed decision about your care. This is a perfect example of the problems we have in healthcare in this country!

The communication and consistency with the stuff and scheduling was amazing with all the different forms of reaching out and making sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend people come and visit get your care from here .

Not a bad place. Will have to find a new provider though, as it wasn’t communicated that they accept my insurance, but service costs may be higher because they aren’t in network. Didn’t learn that until my 3rd visit. Also, make sure to ask prices for optional services when getting work done. Didn’t know it was an extra fee for the laughing gas (could’ve done without it). Also I didn’t know there was a separate fee for the Doctor to look at your gums and teeth (3 sec exam) during the cleaning. Ask. Questions!

It has been a few years (honestly several years) since I have been to the dentist, and I was really embarrassed to go... but my daughter encouraged me to make an appointment with Valley Dental... I did, and went. I honestly could not believe how friendly they were, how they put me at ease and the care they gave to me! They gave me a treatment plan of a few things I needed to get done... I am so grateful and thank God for how they treated me and how they helped me by taking care of my teeth... which I neglected for so long... thank you Village Dental!

THIS was the best experience at a dentist that I have ever had!First, I have no dental insurance because of a job loss and they have a membership plan that takes care of a good chunk of the prices!Secondly, I called for an appointment and got one that day! AND THEN, they even fit me in to get cavities filled in the same day!!I was in and out with the best service, kindness and professionalism. 10/10

First appointment-a bunch of X-rays and was asked to wait “a few minutes” and the dentist would be in. I sat in the chair for nearly a half an hour. I got frustrated and walked out.

They were awesome. Called them about 9am to inquire about having a tooth pulled. They told me to come in at 12. Got there, while they were checking my insurance and taking x-rays.I love to cut up, and they went right along with me.

I recently moved to NC and came across Village Dental Brier Creek. During my cleaning I found out I had a minor cavity. I had never had a cavity before and was nervous for the filling process (I have a tendency to pass out sometimes with Novocaine). Ally talked me through everything and made the situation lighter. She was there every step of the way and continued to check-in with me to make sure I was doing alright (I wasnt even close to passing out). Dr. Wheeler did a great job - I was in and out quicker than expected (this is the most efficient team that I have ever experienced) and know that when it comes to the health of my mouth, im taken care of by a great team! Not only were Ally and Dr. Wheeler great, but the whole team is friendly and interacts with me while im in the office. :) I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking or for anyone that doesnt look forward to dental work. Im looking forward to my next visit. Thank you!

I am almost 38. I have had severe childhood dental trauma...It takes a lot for me to trust a Dental Hygienist, let alone a whole Practice. But, I found My Hygienist at Village Dental N. Raleigh- Ms. Jean! She transferred to Brier Creek and I followed! Ms. Jean understands my history, is empathic, sympathetic, explains everything in detail before proceeding-She is the best of the best. You do not find good bedside manner that often. I TRUST her implicitly.I also got to interact with the wonderful Dr. Monica who was kind, welcoming, thoughtful and expeditious!Ms. Britt- I met briefly upon exiting my visit, but talked with her on the phone to confirm my appointment and ensure my records could be seen by the new practice-Very awesome at helping and ensuring my anxious self.Lastly, I was checked out by Ms. Kristel. She explained my bill, expectations for my nightguard, and made me feel secure and was forthright about all expenses/services, etc. I got to sit down at checkout and had a pleasant conversation with her.Overall, Obviously, I would HIGHLY recommend Village Dental at Brier Creek! I am a bit biased to my hygienist, Ms. Jean, because she is awesome! The entire office eased my anxiety, treated me with respect and clarity (not often the case in many medical practices). I loathe my dental visits but Ms. Jean and Crew take care of me that I...still loathe dental visits, But I would not go anywhere else!!!! My only advice- We are the Consumers/Patients-We Pay, so we GET to ask any and all questions before anything proceeds-the power is with us upon making recommended decisions. The employees at this dentist office are the most friendliest and caring employees I have experienced going to the dentist!! I highly recommend going here and will definitely be coming back!!

This office is nothing short of amazing, friendly, comforting, and very thorough from the front desk all the way to the hygienist, dentist, and your dental assistant (Morgan was mine). They are great follow up as well. I will be taking my family there and continuing my relationship with them.

Beware, they want you to sign that you have discussed and will pay for services that have not been discussed BEFORE you even see the dentist! Be sure to READ EVERYTHING BEFORE SIGNING!! I would not sign and glad I did not. This was my first visit to the office and right away the dentist is telling me that crowns that had been replaced within the past year needed to be replaced. I was scheduled to have my teeth cleaned (this is what the appointment was for!), I was given the price while sitting there, then when I said I was not going to replace crowns that had just been replaced I was told they did not have time then to clean my teeth I would have to schedule yet another appointment for that (be charged again). When I asked why, I was told that they now decided I needed a deep cleaning (twice the price) where as just 5 minutes earlier they told me I did not and the price of just the regular dental cleaning. When I asked to speak to the dentist about the treatment that was being recommended I was told by the technician that I had to speak to her. I’m sorry, if I want to speak to the dentist about dental work I think that should be part of the services.

Had a great experience with a filling! Nicole and the Dr Wheeler did an excellent job and made me comfortable the whole time.

Ok, so last week was my me and my husbands first time at this dentist office. We were so dissatisfied and disappointed with our previous dentist office and we were looking for change! Well guess what, we found it here and Village Dental!!First of all, the building is very nice, the design, and decor is too cute, warm and inviting.Next, I met Jean who took Xrays, teeth selfies, and did my cleaning. She was wonderdul. She had so much knowledge and she explained everything in detail.They have cutting edge technology there at Village Dental and I felt like I was on Star Trek Discovery briefly...lol. So amazing! Everyone works together as team.Dr. Maya came in to review my teeth and provided excellent feedback and anything to look out for or possible next steps needed.Once I was done I was then informed about any treatment pricing, etc. which is so refreshing from my last Dental Office.So if you are looking for the best in technology, care and concern, friendliness, and skillful Dental care, you need to come to Village Dental here in Brier Creek!!I really enjoyed my visit which is something I never say when leaving the dentist!..Lol...

As someone who has anxiety regarding the dentist, Village Dental in Brier Creek offers sedation dentistry and the staff is knowledgeable, caring and understanding throughout the entire process of removing my wisdom teeth and underlying issues. I could not be happier with the service they provided.
