Everything from the time I arrive was a great experience. The staff are very professional and nice. I was greeted immediately once I entered the store. I had my eye exam and then purchased two pair of glasses that was suppose to take a hour to do but was complete in only 30 mins. I recommend this place to anyone that is in need of eye wear. I definitely will be back.

I was in need of some glasses ASAP. I was able to check out the frames while I waited my turn. Keith was knowledgeable and personable. He ran my insurance while I sent pictures of myself in glasses to my family to help me decide which ones to pick, never once making me feel like I was taking too long to decide. Once I made my decision, Keith measured my PD and explained the next steps, and then my glasses were ready in 1 hour! I will definitely be using Eye Mart Express again.

Visiting NC for a few days and heard wonderful things about Eyemart from my sister. Since I was in need of extra pairs of prescription reading glasses, we decided to drop in…and they did not disappoint. The climate was friendly, staff was efficient and verrrry accommodating, the prices were extremely affordable, and the service was oh so quick! Thank you, from one very satisfied customer!!

This is a nice store. Staff is friendly. Prices are average, hard to get the specials, due to not many glasses in the “right” price range to actually qualify for the special. But overall, prices are not too bad. I don’t mind paying a bit more to get them done in 15 mins(!)

Unbelievably great experience. I had destroyed 2 pairs of glasses. Both arms falling off the pair I was wearing, because I was between eye procedures. I only wanted the least expensive ,which was a BOGO, since I have more procedures coming up, and I have stepped on, rolled over in bed on,, dropped and lost several pairs. The associate, Ziola, that assisted me took the same time, as I think she would have if I were buying the most expensive glasses there. She knew my needs, explained my options, why I may want to reconsider, but never overselling. Oh, and the 2 pair were ready in 34 minutes. My wife had already shopped there, and told me how great they were, I am a believer!

They can sell you two complete pairs of cheapo prescription glasses for $39.99 (2 at $19.99 each) without insurance and have them made within an hour. These obviously arent the greatest glasses, but as far as I can tell, the frames are sturdy enough and my vision is clear. If the glasses last two months each before breaking, I still come out cheaper in the long run.

My experience has been amazing—in both separate cases (some time apart) the associates were extremely attentive, helpful, and accommodating! In my most recent visit Keith went the extra mile to repair my glasses despite them being difficult to fix. I most definitely recommend this location and will be returning for sure!

The Eyemart is GREAT!Southern Optometry on the other hand…The doctor had an attitude when I came back and explained I couldnt see with the contact lenses provided. Gave me a cheaper brand that literally pops out of my eye when they get dry. The guy treated me as if I discredited his work by bringing the contacts back.

This place is great. I called and was invited to come on in. I didn’t have to make appointment and of course wait for weeks a way. They were friendly, attentive to my needs and expectations were beyond what I could ever imagine. I will definitely be going back. I havent needed new glasses in years and was extremely skeptical about the plethora of companies now selling eyewear; as such when I called the Eyemart Express on Capital Blvd in Raleigh I was expecting little.When I spoke to Keith he was welcoming and patient with all the questions I had before making an appointment --- Had he been different Id never have gone. When I arrived for the first appointment I was greeted by Kewani who spent time helping me choose frames and counselling me about the varying options. Her smile and demeanor are the warmest and made the initial time extraordinary.Then it was off to the in-house Optometrist and the examination was thorough and timely.The next visit was to fit the new glasses and here I met Zoila who was exquisite in every phase of the process. I had forgotten to wear my mask and without the remotest hint of rancor, Zoila, reminded me; it could easily have been an uncomfortable moment but for her kindness. Meanwhile, the glasses were terrific and Zoilas care in the fitting confirmed for me that Id go ahead and order a pair of prescription sunglasses. Zoila patiently showed me the various offerings to save me some money and still fit my egos needs. ;-). Ten days later I was alerted the glasses were in and I met again with Zoila for the fitting. It went extremely well and I couldnt be happier.Just a couple closing comments: during the various waiting times --- minimal at worst --- I had the opportunity to observe others in the shop; I watched Liz patiently care for a customer trying to find glasses she liked. It took quite some time, yet Liz never once rushed the customer and seemed completely comfortable with the time. So nice! While I had no opportunity to observe Camryn at work, her smile was very pleasant and made me continue to feel comfortable. Sam, who assembles the glasses into the selected frames was so pleasant and a thumbs-up was most appreciated.All in all, I cannot recommend Eyemart Express more. They went far beyond my wildest expectations and I couldnt be happier. Keith, Kewani, Zoila, Liz, Camryn and Sam ought to be commended and Im absolutely confident you too will find them extraordinary.

I love this place!! I was greeted right when I walked in by multiple associates. I was a little lost because I had never been here before. Kewani was the first one to step up and assist me and she explained all the rules nicely! I told her I had some glasses in mind, I showed her a picture and she found them right away! They were the first pair I picked out and they were the pair I ended up getting. Kewani was so helpful with all my questions and helped me get a frame that best fit my face! She explained all the lens types perfectly and was just all around amazing! My glasses were ready in 29 minutes!! When I went to pick them up, the male associate (I didn’t catch his name) made sure I was comfortable with my frame fit before I left and I love them! I highly recommend going here!

I went to the Eyemart express in Raleigh on capital Boulevard. I did not know what to expect Since I have been getting my glasses at Costco, no longer with my eye Dr. which was ridiculously expensive. I like Costco but I’ve noticed one pair of glasses is getting close to $300. So I went with my little coupon and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and actually enjoyable it was. Maria worked with me, Although we had to work around masks and gloves we were able to find the perfect glasses for me, we were also able to make a connection. This is important to me, my pet peeve is when employees emotionally check out and go on auto pilot. This woman was fully present and enjoyed what she was doing. 20 minutes later I got a text and they were ready! They fit beautifully, nothing fancy but they do the trick for under $100! Even without a coupon I will continue to go there. I went with an up-to-date prescription so I did not see your doctor and cannot comment on that. But the fact that it was fast professional clean and very knowledgeable makes me one happy customer. If I owned my own business I would steal Maria for myself. Find a coupon and check them out!

When we went there back in December to get pairs for my kids and myself I was afraid we will have whole lot but not the prices are affordable and the they have huge selection for children and adults. The service was great! I actually received my glasses in 18 minutes. However, the price is misleading. You pay for the frame plus the lens. So, if your frame is $129.99 include $49 for your lens. I would choose Americans Best next time if I didnt need my glasses immediately. Their price is what they advertise but you wait 2 weeks. I also had more of a selection I liked in my price range.

I was impressed at how quickly they got us in, just show up and we were able to get our glasses ordered within about 20-30 minutes all together. They were really busy so they said it would be approximately 2 hours, but they got them done quicker than that. Professional staff, nice store. I looked at glasses for about 5 minutes and was surprised that they called my name so quickly.The sales associate was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. She explained all the options to me and helped me maximize my insurance coverage.They told me it would be about an hour to make my glasses so I went next door for some lunch. I have been going around 5 other glasses stores around the area to get my new glasses. At the end of the day I came to the conclusion that eyemart is the best one as far as variety of glasses and service. Especially their kindness, and genuine heart to serve customers stood out to me. I truly had great experience in eye mart.

First time I came was very good which was about the beginning of the year. Called to replace glasses at 1:00 pm didnt get a call back until 6:50 ( 10 minutes before they close) from the same rude employee named cameron or kameron. She never apologized for not being able to assist me properly. She immediately called and said you can make a payment and pick it up tommorow. When I become annoyed because It almost 6 hours to respond and her she didnt care attitude. She laughed. Getting my glasses because they are already made and never returning. There was no manager to speak with because she stated he was on vacation for a week. Highly dissatisfied.

Hit or miss depending on who you get. First time I came here the guy I worked with, Giemi, was amazing and knowledgeable.Second time I came to drop off my glasses and pick them up, their knowledge of what lens they even sold me was unbelievably lacking compared to Giemi. First off they somehow misplaced my glasses case and had to find that.And when I asked them to show me the blue light filter on my lenses versus lenses that don’t have blue light filter you would think I was speaking another language. They also made it seem like my request was unreasonable and I was the one being difficult. Recommend only if you get Giemi, otherwise, don’t bother and save yourself the throbbing headache.

This place has saved my life on multiple occasions! When my glasses snapped in half and I needed new ones, they had them to me in a day. When my sunglasses sank in the river and I needed new ones, they had them to me in 2 hours. I sincerely appreciate their great customer service and speedy production!

I had never been to Eyemart Express before but decided to check it out since we live nearby and I desperately needed new glasses. You do need to be prepared to sign in and may have to wait a little bit. But I was really pleased with the price (cheaper than anywhere else I think I could have gone other than online), my glasses were ready in an hour, they took time with me to be sure the glasses were right when I picked them up, and the lenses are perfect! I didnt get any extras like non-glare glass since I wear my contacts pretty much exclusively, but I like them so much I kind of wish I had spent more on them. Very happy with my experience!

I got up in the morning and my rimless glasses broke at the bridge! Just all of a sudden! I have a pair of prescription sunglasses but not another pair of regular glasses. I went to work and started looking for a place to get glasses quickly but still in a style I wanted (rimless). I found Eyemart Express and went there at Noon! 28 minutes after submitting my order my glasses were done! With my insurance, they cost $75! AMAZING! I even got another pair for less than $100! Service was fabulous too! Helpful, kind people! Both pairs were the polycarbonate (high quality lens to prevent scratches and breaking) and anti-glare coating. I am totally now an Eyemart Express fan!!

2 for one is a good deal as long as you get the frames you want and the base frames are what you are looking for. , My first pair was done right there and was done fast by the time my second pair was done(a few weeks due to getting none glare) they had placed my lenses in the wrong frame when asked the person was lost at what to do and just looked around at the other boxes to see if my name would magically appear on another box. They did ask if I wanted to change frames but who has time to keep paying for waiting. They never did try to fit my glasses it was just here have a nice day. I will go back to the place I went before because the customer service was worth the money you spend. My wife likes the place but making people do the job they are paid to do is not my thing.

Its was actually unbelievable. Most places online with affordable frames and quicker service had marginal ratings at best. I was skeptical but it was worth the 30 min drive from Cary. Had a great optometrist next door. And got TWO pair of single vision glasses, one with polycarbonate, one plastic for $220. Could have easily got nice but basic frame and plastic lens made in a couple of hours for under $100. Everyone was kind, patient, and professional. Thank you Eyemart Raleigh staff

Great experience here! I drove up there from Durham, which was a little over a 30 minute drive. However, it was worth it! I came in this past Saturday at 1:30, ordered some glasses around 2, and they were done at 3:05. I recommend this place to everyone!

I love this place. I wear progressive lenses & the hooked me up with 2 pairs for the low ($80). My eye doctor charges $110 for bifocal lenses + u have to pay separately for the glasses. Thank God for the Eyemart Express. Took them my prescription & in 1 hr. I had 2 pair. Go get yo prescription & get 2 pairs for single lenses $38.00 or bifocals 2 for $78.00.

Just yesterday I had an eye exam here and got two pairs of progressive lenses for $76.92. The eye exam was $85. Still $25 cheaper than Americas Best. Everyone was very courteous and helpful.

My Eyemart Express experience was fantastic. They have a very large selection to look through with no pressure. The staff was very helpful when I needed it. When I had found some frames Haley was fantastic - walked me through the options, talked about insurance versus using a coupon (both resulting in about *1/2* the price as other places Ive been looking!). She said it may be about an hour to have them ready. To my surprise I got a text in *13* minutes that my frames were ready! Excellent experience - great selection, service and staff!

Extremely nice and helpful had both pair of my glasses ready in 46 minutes and got that 2 pair for $38 cant Beat It and they also come with a one-year frame warranty where they will either fix them for free or replace them. Very happy customer!

Update 9/18: I have been contacted by both corporate customer service and the stores GM multiple times and they have offered to do what they can to make this right. I was unable to answer the first time the local GM called and got busy so was unable to reach back out. He called me again this afternoon to ensure he got in touch with me. He listened to my concerns and critiques and was very receptive and apologetic. My wife and I have spoken about the situation and we do not want to let one poor experience sour us on a store that has in the past provided us great service. Great job by the management team, both local and corporate to turn this situation from a totally negative to show that their focus is truly on the customers!Note: we have previously used this store to purchase glasses for our son and were very pleased with our experience.My wife, daughter, and myself walking into your store in Raleigh (5501 Capital Blvd #104, Raleigh, NC 27616) today (9/17) at 1120 am. John greeted my wife and asked how he could help us. My wife explained we were looking to get a couple of pairs of glasses of our daughter. How old is she he asked, 4 was the reply. Well she needs these polycarbonate lens and we can just put them on your insurance. My wife informed him we were looking to utilize a deal we saw of two complete sets of glasses for 79.95. He said we dont have that deal anymore, and one of his coworkers stated yes we do, but he argued with her about not having it. When I walked into the store I heard him asking my wife, loudly, in front of the entire store, what you dont have vision insurance? To which I replied yes we do, but we were looking for the deal as our insurance isnt accepted here but we normally get spare sets of glasses for our kids here. He then asked who our insurance is with which we told him and he said well we can give you out of network coverage. He then pointed to a corner of the store and said the kids glasses are over there, and he proceeded to sit down at a computer and vigorously research whether the deal was still going or not. Upon him finding out that the deal indeed expired he again loudly proclaimed that the deal was in fact expired to his coworker across the storw and then informed us at least twice past that the deal was expired. It was in fact the worst customer service I have personally experienced in a very long time and could have been a very embarrassing experience if we didnt have the ability to go somewhere else, which we will be. The total lack of customer service skills, discretion, and common courtesy exhibited by John ensured that we will not be returning to this store again. I work in a customer service heavy job and cannot imagine treating any of my clients in such a rude manner make attempts to make them feel bad for attempting to take advantage of a deal that is advertised on the company website. If we had not had the ability to go elsewhere to pick up what will total today at least 4 pairs of frames and lens, possibly two more adult pairs, we would have been very intimidated by his manner and compete lack of customer empathy, consideration, and understanding. He didnt attempt to find out what we were trying to accomplish, what we needed, or anything. Without understanding those basic things the customer will never feel valued and like our business is important. We will not be returning to this location anytime soon.Thank youJason A. Phillips

I have never reviewed an establishment, but have to here. After visiting, Sams, two Targets and a private practice, I was frustrated with the lack of frame selection available for bigger guys, and I am not all THAT big. At best, I was able to find 1 or 2 frames in my size range at the stores mentioned above. I walked into the Eyemart store and immediately found several dozen in my size to select from. The icing on the cake is the extremely competent and professional fitting and order processing. I was in and out within 20 minutes with two new pairs of glasses due to be delivered shortly at a great price point. I highly recommend this company and the Raleigh location.

I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of frames available, everything from less expensive to designer frames. And you can get progressives within a few hours. But, if you want anti glare or other fimishes, it takes 7-10 days. Still, their prices are very good on the higher end frames and lenses. And the staff is very good.

The staff was exceptionally friendly & helpful. There was a wide variety of frames to choose from. Other shops didnt take our insurance, but Eyemart Express did and out-of-pocket costa were close to zero. The glasses were ready for pick up on the same day. I will definitely be a faithful customer from here on.
