Some physicians are skilled in what they do. Others have good rapport with their patients. Dr Hoehle is a rare find in that he is an expert in the field of Chiropractic medicine and he has the ability to communicate with patients. A great find!

Dr. Hoehle keeps my body running. I used to throw my back out at least 2x/year and I have not been injured since I started visiting Dr. Hoehle. I had bad experiences with prior chiropractors and didnt necessarily believe in chiropractics until now. Dr. Mike is hands down the best Chiropractor I have ever been to. I have been training for and racing competitively in Ironman Triathlons for the past 8 years. Because of this I had pain in my neck, upper back and lower back. He was able to quickly display my imbalances via ex-rays and then put me on a strong plan to be pain free and get back to training again. Don’t hesitate to set up an initial assessment with him. I have received chiropractic care from Dr. Hoehle to both relieve my seasonal allergies and my lower back pain. He is extremely thorough and always makes sure my bodys current needs are addressed. After each appointment I can feel improvements immediately and I always leave his office looking forward to returning for my next appointment. Having been a prior collegiate athlete, I’ve been to my fair share of chiropractors and Dr. Mike is by far the best.I started going to Dr. Mike when Covid started. Turns out I didn’t have the best WFH set up and got to the point where is it was painful to walk due to neck pain. Dr. Mike got me in right away. Took X-Rays and developed a plan to get me back in action!!Along with myself needing relieve from pain, my wife and I introduced our young son to Dr. Mike, as he has had issues sleeping. Mike has been amazing with our son and has helped him too!I want to highlight how genuine and charismatic Dr. Mike is. Both of my sons participate in sports and take a beating, especially the hockey player. For the past 25 years I have experienced headaches (occipital to migraine). I went to massage therapists and neurologists, with no relief or explanation for these occurrences. For the past 15 years I have suffered with acid reflux disease, resulting in having to take medication daily. If that was not enough for the past 10 years, I have had to take several different types of allergy medicines and decongestants due to almost daily sinus congestion. I have also been feeling like I am going deaf, but have passed all of the hearing tests and doctors tell me that my ears are clear. About a month ago, I began having severe sciatic pain. This was a new thing with horrific, indescribable pain. A friend suggested a chiropractor. I scanned through the lists of chiropractors and for some unknown reason, Raleigh Chiropractic and Wellness just stood out. I called and make an appointment. Stacy was very accommodating and empathetic to my situation. I went in for xrays and met Dr. Mike. I was nervous to say the least, due to hearing horrific stories about chiropractor experiences. My nerves were immediately settled upon meeting him. His warm, sunny, and very friendly disposition put me at ease immediately, and sitting in his office, I realized that he had A LOT of patients and he knew every single one of them by name. I came back the next day and he sat in his office and thoroughly reviewed my results in great detail and took the time to answer any questions that I had. We came up with a plan together and within the first week of visits, I began noticing that my pain level was decreasing. After the second week, I was off all of the pain medications that had previously been allowing me to function. The most amazing part of this story however, is not that he was able to alleviate my sciatic pain...it was that after about the third week, I began noticing that I had not experienced ANY headaches, I wasnt experiencing the sinus congestion anymore, I could HEAR better than I have in years, and I wasnt having to take the daily acid reflux meds. I can honestly say, this man has changed my life, and I gladly and confidently recommend going to see him if you are having any of the issues I just listed, or any other chiropractic need.

I have always been a skeptic of chiropractic medicines and falsely attributed my symptoms as simply parts of aging. I could not have been more wrong! Ive had a fantastic experience with Raleigh Chiropractic & Wellness so far. Staff is always friendly and professional, and Dr. Mike provides individualized treatment plans to each patient based on their specific needs.Not only do I feel better and have more mobility in my neck, but I was shocked to see how much of an improvement Ive made on recent X-rays compared to ones taken just a few months ago.

My insurance says that they would cover 100% after my copayment of $25.They also have me the discounted fee and three payment options, but never itemized it as to what the total payment minus insurance would be. The front desk person couldn’t even tell me if they were considered in network. But he told me not to worry about it and get adjusted and then think about my Finances without telling me how much that adjustment would be. Then when I came back, he started speaking about an auto draft without telling me a description of what I was paying for versus what the insurance was paying for. He ended up charging me $140 for the two visits and $60 for the initial visit. I left there not knowing why they were priced differently. I would not recommend them if you’re working with insurance or if you want to understand an itemized idea of what you’re paying for. Waste of $200. Gave me the impression that he didn’t even go through or bother with my insurance, when this is the first question that I asked when I called.

Dr Mike is outstanding - he is outstanding at adjustments and does an excellent job of listening to his patients to find the best course of treatment. He’s also the secret weapon in my golf game! Highly recommend.

I had sciatica affecting my right leg. It progressed over a number of months with my GP prescribing muscle relaxants, an MRI and ultimately referred me to a surgeon. Sitting was painful and driving was impossible at that point. The surgeon said that he couldnt fix me but could reduce the pain while my body healed itself (in about a year!). I opted to try Raleigh Chiropractic and Wellness instead and within weeks was driving again. Full recovery still took the better part of a year, but getting to the point where I was pain free during normal daily activities took only a few months. I only wish I had started earlier before it got to that point.

I was able to start seeing Dr. Mike last fall for my allergies. He is amazing! Not only was he able to help me breathe easily, but he was also able to help relieve lower back pain and pressure. He is very thorough, explains everything in detail, and makes you feel comfortable right away. I am so glad I chose this practice and wouldnt go anywhere else! My dad is now a patient as well, and is finally receiving the help he needs from old sports injuries from playing football in college. He is feeling the better than ever and we are so thankful for the care weve gotten from Dr. Hoehle.

No longer live in Raleigh, but when Im in town, I often try to stop by and get a Dr. Mike adjustment....he gives thorough adjustments every visit, and has great tips on how to self heal as well.

My fiancee had a good experience until she got a new job which was no longer in Raleigh. She told them she would no longer be a patient yet they have continued to charge our card going on 4 months now despite repeated requests not to. So basically they are now stealing from us.Response from the owner (07/02/18):Good morning Braden Im sorry to hear about this billing issue please have your fiancee contact our office today and we will refund any necessary charges. Once again Im sorry this happened but will make sure we refund the correct amount today.EDIT 07/02/18: After this review and another email from my finacee, then me forwarding that same email to them to make sure it was seen the refunds have been issued. It should not have even required my involvement in the first place as she notified them at the time of her last appointment that she would no longer be able to be a patient. One more star for finally refunding the charges and hopefully cancelling future ones (we decided to cancel the card on file just to be sure).

My whole family went to Dr. Hoehle for more than 5 years, only leaving when we moved 3 hours away. (I still go to him if Im back in Raleigh, though!) Having hurt my back at 4, and discovered chiropractic at 27, I am a big proponent in general. But not all chiropractors are created equal, and I like those that stress getting you back to your life, not keeping you from it. Dr. Mike is GREAT! He takes a whole-body approach, and is focused on wellness so you can live an active, healthy lifestyle. I cant recommend him enough if you have back or neck pain, or have moved and are looking for a new chiropractor (or are just unsatisfied with your current one!).

When I first became a patient I was given the pay in advance speech - that if I made (1) (2) or (3) equal payments over the course of 3 months that I would save money overall - as Dr. Mike was offering me a discount to make these payments (instead of paying each visit). He explained that - after x-number of visits my insurance would pay less - and over time my total cost would be X. If I made all my payments in advance - I saved his staff time - thus he was willing to offer a discount.Yes... After 25 visits my insurance would not pay for adjustments. What I feel Dr. Mike failed to disclose was that he was charging me for things that [under his contract with my insurance company] he was not supposed to bill for.Thus, after selecting the 3x payment - I overpaid by almost $1,400!!!! An amount that Dr. Mike REFUSES to refund. My insurance company has called, and sent letters requesting Dr. Mike to re-file - as the amounts he is billing the patient for are OVER the amount he contract states he can file.I did bring my insurance print out to Dr. Mike (an excel print out) - with columns marked amount you do not owe and amount paid - and Dr. Mike pointed out several 0 amounts (in amount paid) (but reflected in amount you do not owe) and said (and I mis-quote its been a few months) your insurance did not pay this - to which my insurance basically said yeah - we did not pay it - BUT he cannot bill you for that amount - One particular 0 amount was for my second set of x-Rays. Dr. Mike told me that my insurance did not cover the 2nd set of X-Rays - however, my EOB for the X-Rays are clearly marked Plan DiscountOk - so I have shared enough. If you feel like overpaying for Chiropractic care - then go ahead! But if you prefer your wallet to be treated honestly - do not come here!!!!

After taking x-rays, Dr. Hoehle creates a personalized treatment plan that will meet all of your needs. He takes the time to explain to you why you are in pain and how the adjustments and exercises will help you improve both in the short and long term. Dr. Hoehle treats you as a person. He knows you by name and is genuinely interested in what you have to say. Ive been seeing him for about 2 weeks yet I feel like Ive known him for years. After my first adjustment, I immediately felt relief. His treatment plan has improved the quality of my life in a very short time span.
