All in all, I had a great experience today. They re-cemented my bridge and even gave me a good estimate for a bridge on the left side of my mouth. The staff were very competent and thorough. No complaints.

Editing my review. I had a great experience my first visit, Dr. Thomas was nice and seemed good, and I kept returning because I loved my hygienist, Alix. However, the billing department was really disorganized. They referred my husband to a surgeon who they assured him was in our network, only to find out that they werent, after he had the surgery which cost us way more than expected. Theyve also mistakenly charged me for services that I didnt receive and it took way too many phone calls for them to remove the charge from their collection program. Not worth the headache.

I have been a patient here since I was a kid and have always loved the staff, I have no complaints! I went in today for a cleaning and x-rays, Brandy was my hygienist and she gave me a warm welcome and we had a lovely conversation. A visit to the dentist always makes me a bit nervous so I really appreciated the conversation and calm energy Brandy provided along with a great cleaning! I then saw Dr. Antczak and he was informative, kind, and honest about what work needed to be done. I felt like I was in good hands here!

Read the reviews carefully!! The bad reviews are real and very repetitive, they will change you extra Money for any reason, if you cant make it to your appointment they will change you $50 and they wont tell you that, theyll reschedule you and then send you the bill, I paid them $150 just for rescheduling bc I didnt have to energy to argue or look for another dentist I was in pain so I had stay with them, but they take advantage of their patients, they Robb money and they service is bad too, just read the bad reviews bc it will happen to u if you ho here.

I was a patient of theirs for almost 10 years. I went at least 3 times per year for periodontal maintenance and exams. Ive had several root canals and numerous wisdom teeth made or replaced. Needless to say, theyve made some money off of me. Ive actually enjoyed the dentists and the staff for the most part. I recently had an appointment scheduled to replace two crowns and take care of a cavity. I called the day before my appointment to reschedule due to a conflict. I was told that I would be billed $50 since I didnt call more than 48 hours prior. Again, I was rescheduling, not canceling. I was billed the $50 and, stupidly, paid it. I called the office manager a couple weeks later to discuss this situation and left a message. She never called me back. Needless to say, Ive switched dentists. Apparently $50 is more important to them than keeping a loyal customer with a good return for their investment. Their business model and customer service are terrible.

Would not reccomend. We were referred by our primary dentist for extractions. This office did not even attempt to bill our insurance let alone inform myy husband they had the only non network provider do the work on my daughter. This was not communicated to anyone until I called to ask why they did not bill the insurance or accept the referral from our primary dentist. The entire procedure should have been covered by insurance and had to be paid out of pocket due to their front office staffs negligence. Now I have to file individual claims and appeals to make this situation right with no help from the staff. In fact, I was told good luck with that when I was speaking to Cameron. Worst dental office experience I have ever had. And I have 4 kids, myself and a husband that have been to dental offices for multiple things. By far this office and staff are the worst.

Love this office.... Ive been coming here for more than five years, I love dr. Thomas hes a straight shooter and always answers all my questions without a doubt, he has never try to sell me any work on my teeth that I dont want or need and I can definitely respect that

Went in Early for a Cleaning done by Mrs. Brandey. She was the sweetest and ensured I was comfortable my entire cleaning. She walked me through every step and did an excellent job. Definitely excited for my next cleaning!

Stay away. I had gone there since I was a kid and 15 years ago, they did great work and took care of us. I moved and was unable to keep going to them. My new dentist found that my crowns were incorrectly done, poorly fitted, and I have experienced permanent bone loss as a result. I had to have large chunks of excess dental cement removed and X-rays taken. They also made me pay for a procedure to remove some of my gums to properly fit the crowns, which still don’t fit properly when they could have made the crowns shorter and saved me the extra cost and pain. My sister has also had crowns done, which were improperly done, along with her root canal, and it has caused further decay and will require additional procedures to repair. We cannot sue since the statue of limitations has passed, but I can say that we paid thousands of dollars for terrible work that has caused us pain and diminished our faith in this field. The only thing I can do is share my experience and caution STRONGLY that you look elsewhere for dental care

I would most definitely steer clear from this dental office. For working here for a very short 3 months, I can tell everyone that this office is ran extremely poor; along with the dental tools are not being properly sterilized due to the autoclave (the sterilization unit that is supposed to clean the dental tools) hardly ever working, correct and proper billing protocols are not being followed, the office is very filthy and very cumbersome. On top of all of this, company has not been honest to their patients as to what truly happened with Dr. Mitchell Thomas. With that being said, I would never trust this office with my dental care and neither should you.

Believe it or not as a dental office manager I come here for my dental work. The front office staff and new Drs are very personable and genuinely care about my dental needs. I have referred many family members here & would recommend you reading this as well.

I moved to Tucson. I spent a year going for my dental work there. They are straight forward and professional and I didn’t feel like I got scammed (some reason it’s a thing with dentists in AZ to give you and upfront bill). This dentist office and the one I used in Mesa have been good. Only two dentists I have felt are transparent.I enjoyed this dentist and the employees professionalism. They have helped me maintain my teeth and I thank them for this. I would highly recommend them to my friends and coworkers in Phoenix.It’s hard to find a good dentist that doesn’t waste your time initially and then they go well here’s 10k worth of dental work you gotta do. They are upfront about what needs to be done and I never felt uncomfortable with going into their facilities. I would still use them had I not relocated to Tucson.

First time visitor. Pleasant office and office staff. Dental assistant who took x-rays mumbled a lot and had the hiccups - could be more professional. Dentist was to the point and there was a computer screen right next to my chair so he could show me what he was seeing. He was not very personable and stood so far to my side I had to crane my neck to look him in the eye. Seemed to know his stuff tho. Treatment coordinator was the most personable person I talked to!

If you have anxiety about seeing the dentist do not come here. This place is not welcoming and the staff is not very warm. Honestly felt like they were trying to get me in and out as fast as possible. They dont make you feel comfortable asking questions nor do they ask you if you are comfortable nor do they communicate effectively. Felt like the doctor would rather be anywhere else but there. Was literally on the verge of tears the whole time, but they just ignored it or simply did not notice. They ask you on the form if you are nervous about the dentist but that was obviously just for show because they did not follow up on it whatsoever. Had to cancel the rest of my appointments because the thought of having to go back is so unbearably daunting. I’d rather put myself through this process all over again than come back here (and thats saying a lot because I’d rather just get this over with) If you have anxiety about the dentists this office will only exacerbate your fear.

My experience at Thomas and Thomas was great. Alix, my hygienist is gentle and friendly. The doctors are thorough and attentive. Trust these people to take great care of your mouth.

I called to make an appointment for teeth whitening the same day my regular check up. I gave them my name time and date she told me I was a half hour early on my appointment time. After we confirm that she told me the only day I could come in for a teeth whitening would be the following Friday. When I got to my regular check up she told me I was a half hour late & wanted to charge me ! So we rescheduled; then I go in the following day for my teeth whitening and I’m a week early!!Other then that my regular check up went well

Appointment was right on time. Staff professional and friendly, and I did not feel rushed. The dentist reviewed x-rays and explained any anomalies, with a suggested course of action/ and or follow-up. The next 6-mo appointment was also scheduled.

I have been coming to Dr. Thomas for many years and I am very pleased with the level of service I have gotten. I will continue to patronize this dentist office because of the care and personal attention I have gotten. The reason that I have to leave this review at four stars is because I am disappointed, I must admit, with the automatic addition of a fluoride treatment, at my expense, without asking for my permission or approval. I had to tell them that I don’t need it and I would not like to receive it to which I got the response, “Are you sure, We highly recommend it!” I understand that times are tough, they are tough for me too, which is why I don’t appreciate being automatically expected to pay another fee for a treatment that I don’t need or want. It’s sneaky, and I don’t like it.

This dentist is not following CDC guidelines!!! They are calling people in for cleanings which the CDC says should be postponed. CDC recommendation states: Telephone triage all patients in need of dental care. Assess the patient’s dental condition and determine whether the patient needs to be seen in the dental setting. Use teledentistry options as alternatives to in-office care.

My treatment today was first class. They were very professional, they jumped in and did the work that needed to be done, and I left feeling very satisfied.

All of the office staff have always been professional, helpful and friendly. Dr. Thomas takes the time to discuss his findings and options. Ive been here a few times, the first time was in 2016. I had actually never been to a dentist prior to coming to this one, as my family never had the means to go to the dentist, and my teeth were never an issue enough to make me feel like I even needed to go to the dentist. The bill was extraordinary, as to be expected from a few crowns and root canals due to having never gone to the dentist.The first problem arose in 2018, years after I had my teeth done. I was suddenly put into collections out of the blue, no calls or emails, even though they had both on file. I was completely oblivious to and bills I owed. After sorting out that mess, against my better judgement, I went back to Thomas and Thomas once I had a new job that have me better insurance. I went in for what I thought was a routine cleaning, which somehow became a $65 dollar charge even though my insurance covers 2 cleanings per year.And now, I somehow still owe $17 for my last visit. Thankfully Ive received emails and texts this time about it, but when I tried to call to sort out the issue, they are unavailable. According to my insurance, the procedure they performed should have only been $65 out of pocket, which I paid prior to leaving. I now question whether they failed to check with my previous insurance on my last bill back when I was put in collections, as clearly whoever is running the billing department doesnt know how to check insurance. Ive already moved dentists and certainly will never be coming back here again due to the poor service in terms of the billing process

I was going to go into detail about my nightmare experience here after being a customer of 4 years, but I wont. All I will say is that I will never go back. And for those of you who had Dr. Thomas as their dentist, just an FYI in case you wont be informed the way I wasnt, he is no longer here!

Always a seamless experience. I have been there about 4 times and never have they been behind schedule.All the women at the front desk are kind and answer all my questions. All the dental assistants are very friendly and communicative but Alex has been my favorite. She is so sweet, gets her job done quickly and thoroughly, and does not have a heavy hand.Dr. Thomas is honest and to the point while being delightful and professional.

I had to have a deep cleaning done, half my mouth one day and the other half the next day. I was lucky enough to have Alex to do the cleaning. She listened to my every need and concern.I shared with her that I needed to have my mouth suctioned more than most, so that I don’t gag. She did this without hesitation. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure checking in with me regularly.I’ve been with Dr. Thomas for close to 20years and have never written a review but I felt compelled to do so this time.Thank you Alex for making an uncomfortable procedure more than tolerable!!

I finally got dental insurance after not being able to afford to go to one for a long long time. I also told this to the dentist and his eyes lit up as if dollar signs had replaced his pupils. I then got a huge list for a treatment plan and the receptionist tried to use scare tactics and went on about how you cant wait you have to do this now, you have to sign up for this credit card now is only time. I get that they probably receive commission on these but it was so highly unprofessional and uncomfortable trying to be scared into opening up a credit line. The dentist quoted me a price for all the work and told me that it would be with my insurance with a dentist assigned with my insurance. I called my insurance right after that and they told me that office was trying to charge me for an out of network dentist at full price and my insurance suggested to go to another office. After that i made an appointment with my old dental place i went to as a child where i had to pay out of pocket for so i can get a real honest answer for all my dental work thats needed. The treatment plan that i got from this office was half of what thomas and thomas said i needed. I do not feel comfortable or trust thomas and thoms, this is the kind of office everyone has been warning us about.

This place is always so welcoming. The people here are very professional and kind. The dentist even gave me a few tips on flossing correctly which I really appreciated because I didnt know I had been doing it wrong. They also have coffee and a fridge full of water for those waiting in the lobby which is really nice after an early visit in the morning.

At the front desk, you are welcomed by an attentive associate with a comforting smile. You will also see other staff, buzzing about the office, tending to patients, and always emanating an attitude of positivity. The assistants work quickly to process whatever your need. Soon after, Dr. Thomas introduces himself with a firm handshake. He ensures that all information and possible procedures are effectively communicated to you. I feel as if I’ve gained access to one of the friendliest establishments in the valley.

Can’t ever say enough great things about this place. Had my bi annual cleaning today with follow up xrays and was in and out in 30 minutes. Super personable, professional and easy going staff. I’m grateful to have found Thomas and Thomas!

I really enjoy going to the dentist as I see it as a mini spa for my teeth. The staff here are friendly and helpful. The hygienist was gentle taking x-rays as well as the cleaning. I had a nice time here and am coming back for my biannual preventive teeth care.

I havent been to the dentist in over a decade & had some issues with my teeth that caused the fear & embarrassment that caused the delay in treatment. The staff was understanding & gentle. They never once shamed me for my anxiety or the state of my teeth. They went over the list of procedures recommended & the cost to me & made sure I understood completely. I wish I had found them earlier.

The reason I chose Thomas and Thomas is that they returned my call. I called numerous 24/7 emergency dental clinics. Thomas and Thomas was the only one to reach me through text. They set me up to be seen right at 7am and the exam was short and informative. The office personnel and the Dr. were pleasant and helpful. Overall a great experience.

It would be 5 Stars due to the 15+ years I have been going, never missed an appointment, always on time and Jackie is the best hygienist. However, I will be seeking a new dentist. My last visit I missed, a little mistake on my calendar caused an issue and had to reschedule after the appointment was supposed to occur. Thomas & Thomas charged me $50 for the mistake with NO consideration for my dedicated service. For this reason I am leaving.

As a new patient, everyone from the receptionist thru to checkout was kind and professional! The hygienist was always considerate to make sure I was comfortable and the Dr was great. Definitely worth switching dentistrys 🙂
