Nicole is a total sweetheart! I am truly impressed. Nicole goes above and beyond to help her customers. She helps in any way she can. She is truly very caring. I appreciate all of her help and I am glad to know her team is being lead by a great manager.

I have been going to this location for 4-5 years. I even continue to come here even though I live across town now. Dr. H always makes me laugh and feel comfortable. And Monica is literally THE BEST. Shes the main reason I drive across town to have my teeth cleaned. Highly recommend this location.

For having a root canal done everything went well. Everyone was concerned that my visit was relatively painless. Everyone was concerned and sympathetic. The office staff were truly delightful and helpful.

Dr. Haghighat is the BEST!!! When I first started seeing him I had major anxiety issues. I would have to take a valium before visiting him. Within 3 visits I trusted him so much that I no longer need the valium when I see him.He is kind, gentle, and understanding. He tells you what is is going to do before he does it and is very aware of your reactions while he is working on you. I will NEVER see another dentist. I had my SRP cleaning with Ambar she’s the best hygienist and I trusted her with my life. She was great the entire time and talked me through everything she was doing. She made me feel calm and I even was able to relax and take a little nap during my cleaning! I highly recommend gentle dental to everyone!

I had an appointment here at 11am got in around 11:10am so it was super quick. However, I did do my new patient packet beforehand. I requested it via email so that could be why I got in so quickly.I cannot say how AMAZING the staff and friendly the dentists are. My first appointment went super smooth. Took about an hour for x-rays and everything. Second appointment was my cleaning. The woman I had was very knowledgeable, after my cleaning she took a new toothbrush and gave me a mirror and showed me how to brush and floss my teeth. She literally brushed and flossed my entire mouth after the cleaning. I had no idea I was brushing incorrectly. I felt so to relaxed and confident in their hands. I wish I wouldve found these dentists a long time ago. They also recommended for me to buy a package deal for my teeth. It was $160 for a oral B toothbrush, mouthwash(which I had to purchase anyways since I have early stages of gingivitis) and an air flosser, they also threw in a few other goodies free of charge, saving me a bundle of cash. Overall my experience was amazing. Will never switch my dentist again.

I’ve been a patient of Gentle Dental E. Bell since 2006. Their office is efficient, courteous and have “top-of-the-line” hygienists. Can’t imagine anyone else handling my dental care.

My family of 4 receive dental care at this office; we’ve been patients for nearly 10 years. I would recommend the office to anyone. I especially like how responsive the professional staff is: ask for help and they will help. For example, my 13-year old wasn’t brushing correctly and our tech did an entire lesson on how to brush. Best of all, they followed up on brushing technique at the next appointment.

Ambar Chavez is the best dental hygienist Ive ever had!! If I could give this office 10 stars, I would. Ambar is super friendly and goes the extra mile for patient care. My teeth have never been so clean and she was very gentle. Exceptional, courteous and professional service from the whole staff. I’ve been taking my significant other to her appointments for years now, it was the first time she came back nearly in tears. She was helped by Dr. Haghighat, who instead of providing medical advise and help, ended up badgering and insulting my partner. Saying things like “looks like you soak your teeth in battery acid” knowing his profession, he’s seen worse. Also making claims without the facts. Saying he doesn’t know if our insurance covers it, which it clearly does. We need dental help which is why we schedule a dentist appointment in the first place, but to receive only insults during the examination when we needed actual medical help is pathetic. It was like going to a doctor for a broken arm and he rants about how it looks like it went through steam roller and how horrible of a person you are for not getting out of the way. Horrible customer service, don’t go here unless you want to be badgered and feel worse than before you go in.

I really give kudos to Monica, my hygienist. I am a wimp when it comes to the dentist! I have sensitive teeth, gum disease and bone loss. Monica has always done a thorough cleaning without hurting me. For me, that is so important. I would recommend Gentle Dental East Bell location. I have always been satisfied.

Scheduled as a new patient. I was scheduled at 7am. I took PTO from work to see the Dentist. Their system to do x-rays was down. Understandable, technology is always going to have issues. Their website shows their office hours 7am to 5pm. (I suggested an edit on Google maps). No big deal, I thought I just come in the evening. Turns out the office hours are 7am to 2p or 3pm. My suggestion check your systems once you get in the office. If something is wrong call the patient. Save them time & money. Given I was in the waiting room hearing a patient rescheduling & being charged 100.00 fee. Finally its the attitude of how things are approached. The lady that was supposed to do my x-ray was sweet. Yet the front office woman receptionist or supervisor seemed to lack empathy or care.

Ive been in several times now and every visit has been a very pleasant. Both Dr. Haghighat and Dr. Adashek are kind and do everything they can to ensure your comfort and understanding. The women at the front desk are also very helpful when it comes to setting appointments and working through finances.

First off I was so scared to go see the dentist, my fiancé and her family all goes here and said to check it out as I went to a different dentist before hand and they quoted me $14k in dental work.I just finished my first visit and had 2 teeth extracted. I was very nervous but everyone was very pleasant to work with and they had my teeth out in no time!Pricing is very good as well!Thank you guys for helping me start on the right track to having a healthy mouth again!!

This has by far been the best dental experience I’ve had!! There was a misunderstanding with scheduling a cleaning, but the front office staff went above and beyond to get both of my kids cleaning done today since I took the day off of work to bring them in. The dentist was friendly and the hygienist was awesome. I can’t say enough about how great both the front and back office staff are here!!

Ive always had a fear of dentist but DR Haghighat has put that fear to rest. I no longer have anxiety when needing dental work. I did not feel a single injection and him and his team kept me laughing the whole procedure. AMAZING Dentist and Team!

My appointment was at 8 and I was not seen until 830 am. So that was a little frustrating. Once I saw the dentist Jennifer she was amazing nice and friendly professional, she made me feel right at home. Then the lady who cleaned my teeth was so nice an gentle and listened to me, and explained everything. Overall I had a great experience. Would recommend anyone going there.

One of the stressful things about a pending move to Colorado this year is losing an Elegant Smile Dentistry as my dentist. I love the front and back office staff and Dr. Haghighat is the best! Every interaction with these folks is a positive one. They go out of their way to make your trip to their office a good one, despite the fact you are at the dentist. Keep up the great work!

I have been going to this office for almost a year and spend a lot of money on expensive treatments. I really am not happy with their way of operating just be ware they say they do estimates on your plans ! But this estimates are not accurate even after asking them to make sure they check with my plan, I got charged a big amount out of pocket! I have been trying to deal with their corporate office and thats just a nightmare no one ever returns your phone call.! Word of advice find a dentistry where they actually care about their patients and double check your plans and clauses and what is actually covered !

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! If I could give less than 1 star I would. This place is a total scam! Their sole goal is to use every penny of your insurance benefit as quickly as possible with no care for patient comfort or convenience.Dont even think that you will see the same dentist twice despite scheduling for a specific doctor. Nor will they notify you in advance that they have moved you to another doctor. With the exception of Dr. Danny, the dentists are rushed, abrasive and have a total lack of patience. Even simple procedures such an a numbing shot can and will result in painful complications such as nerve impairment (not permanent but painful for several weeks).At our most recent and final visit, the doctor told our 14-year old to not be a chicken because she asked for a break due to pain, implied she was a head case, and then prescribed Valium - for a young teen! All totally avoidable if she had seen Dr. Danny as scheduled.They will also spread even the simplest need over as many visits as possible so as to drain your insurance benefits as quickly as possible - ie. 4 cavities will equate to 3 to 4 separate visits for fillings.The final indignity was when I called to get records transferred to a new dentist. I was told that I had to come in to sign the forms (no mail or email was allowed) and then it would be several weeks before I could expect the digital copies to be forwarded since the office manager is out and they cant be sure of her return date.

My friend recommend I come here. I lost the filling on my front tooth. My front left tooth is about 40% gone. The original filling I had on lasted 30 years. I come here and it wont last 2 weeks. Dentist says I need a cap which is about $1600 (way over priced) but on their discount plan you have to pay $60 for brings it down to $1300 or $1360 I should say. Im not paying that when my original filling lasted 30 years, this should be no different. I wanted to switch offices from the one in Surprise, #1 its closer to my work and #2 theyve already done it twice. Maybe a different dentist office will do better work. Called on Friday to see if I could switch offices and schedule to get it re-fixed. Someone was supposed to call me back - of course no one did. Monday comes no call. So I call on Tuesday to see whats going on. They say corporate needs to approve it being done for a 3rd time and they cant do it until next week. So here I am with a half missing front tooth for 2 weekends in a row. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Im chalking up what I paid as a loss and going somewhere else.

Front desk is so unprofessional we had to leave. Front desk wanted me to sign consent forms for fillings, but daughter was there for 2 extractions (baby teeth). Then front desk lady cursed in front of my daughter. Office manager insisted on payment up front (we have always paid after treatments the past 3 years) after front desk said they would collect afterwards. Office Manager denied her staff cursed in front of my daughter, yet apologized. Office staff who cursed in front of my daughter refused to apologize. Office Manager told me the customer generally is never right and that she and her staff knew their jobs.Dentist had not bothered to secure a newer referral from the orthodontist once we were in the room even though this appointment had been booked for many months. Office staff told me extractions were not done on Fridays. Dentist told me another dentist would do extractions on Fridays. Office Manager told me they dont do extractions at all, but did so for us because we requested it. Daughters regular dentist, who is no longer there, discussed with us the procedure/gas/no /gas/pain level for extractions in August.We ended up not having the procedure done because my daughter was so up set by the Office Manager and staff member. On the way out the Office Manager turned to my daughter and said something to the effect of Your Mom is not setting a good example for you. My daughter left in tears.Way to go Elegant Smile in making sure a child wants to see the dentist as a valued health provider because kids love going to the dentist!Looking for a new dentist for the entire family!

The actual dental care here is good. Dr. Haghighat is a great dentist and is willing to explain all options, answer questions, and truly has the best interest in mind for the patient. I have been a patient here for 5+ years and have had several hygienists and all of them seem to be pleasant and good at what they do. Unfortunately the administrative side of this office is horrible. They dont return calls, the billing is convoluted, it is very difficult to schedule appointments as they seem to overbook all the time and dont have openings, and this morning when I had a scheduled appointment I walked in 14 minutes late and was told I had to reschedule (it took me 4 months to get the appointment this morning for a basic cleaning). Horrible customer service at the front desk, no empathy (had a 4 year old child in tow that caused me to run late), and no interest in trying to keep me as a patient. This was the last straw and I am done with this place. Found another Moon Valley area dentist and have a cleaning set for next week.

Two points of view here. Doctor H, his assistants, and the hygienists are hands down the best there are. I hate going to the dentist and have a real phobia. These people are great though and are the first and only dental clinic to allow me to put my phobias aside. I dont know how the man does it but he can give you a shot and you will feel nothing every single time!If it were not for the office staff, I would give this place a five. In fairness they have gotten better over the years but I have had to deal with botched scheduling, estimates that took up to 6 months and the occasional rude receptionist. I come back only because of Doctor H and his staff.

I quit going to these guys when they were still An Elegant Smile purely because of the rudeness and lack of professionalism of the front desk staff. I considered going back after the name change, thinking maybe the culture of the front office had changed as well. After reading recent reviews looks like nothing has changed. Really unfortunate. The hygienists and dentists have all given me awesome service before but I couldnt stand how I was treated by the front desk staff so I switched. I really wish theyd read these reviews and change things/personnel. I loved my hygienist. She and the other actual dental staff there gave me the best dental care Ive gotten anywhere before or afterwards.

Called to let receptionist know about how I was a couple minutes late (due to situations out of my control). Receptionist told me that it was fine, I came in and she then told me I had to reschedule because I was late. I forewarned her and still rescheduled me. She wasnt nice and was very rude about it. I wont come here again.

Ive been coming here for probably over 10 years from when it was Elegant Smile. Dr. H is super nice. This is the first time Ive written a review because of my experience today with a certain hygienist, who was rude and aggressive and my visit was very upsetting. I was told upon arrival, there was no doctor there so I would have to come back again for Xrays before my next appt. I had this appt. for 6 months! Why was I not called to give me an opportunity to reschedule? After sitting down, she was very rough, I asked her to lighten up and she said this is how I clean, I went to school for this, do you want to continue? Again telling me I have gum disease, almost in an accusing manner. I will continue coming here but refuse to see this hygienist again and asked for that to be noted in my chart. In a world of online reviews, this is not smart behavior! Not a good experience!

I have been going to this elegant smile location for over 2 years now...at my first appointment I knew I had gum issues and the doctors and staff took great care of me. My condition is now stable and I am greatful to keep my teeth. :)

If I could give the office manager zero stars I would. I had a genuine complaint and needed to talk to the higher up management. Right away she answered the phone like she was annoyed, I was explaining my situation and I wasnt quite following her feedback. Her response was,Well if you just shut your mouth and listen youd understand better. In shock, I asked her if she was really the office manager, and she replied yup. I dont even know where to start with her unprofessionalism. My husband and I will never go there again, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I had such a wonderful experience today with all the employees at the office on Bell and 7th st. My crown came out while I was eating a bite of protein bar. It was in the evening and we were getting ready for a road trip the next day. My husband called the office and left a message to see if anyone could put it back on. The office receptionist called and said if I came in they could do it the first thing. I rushed there and they were all ready for me. Took an ex ray and found out the tooth was broken off at the crown and part of tooth was still in crown. Well, Dr. Haghighat and his assistant RAffil were right on it and built up my tooth and made me a new crown. I have a temporary crown until I get new one. They are my special angels and the whole team made it possible to go one our road trip to YELLOWSTONE. THANK YOU EVERY ONE. I AM SO GREATFUL TO HAVE SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE TO GOES OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP ME OUT. Thank you all .

Not good. Came in and waited the customary 45 min after my appointment time to be seen. Result, no cavities, but you need a cleaning. I talked to them to get it scheduled andI asked specifically if it would be covered by my insurance. They said yes. Since their last appointment time is 4pm I had to leave work early and hurry across town to get to the appointment on time. On arriving, they tell me the cleaning will be 200 dollars. I explained that that was not what they told me when scheduling, but they insisted no, I was wrong. I needed a deep cleaning and it would be 200 dollars. I explained that I only wanted a regular cleaning that my insurance covers. They said no, that they had to do the deep cleaning that the doctor ordered. So, basically, I can have what they want to give me, not what I want. Receptionists were uppity and their magazine selection sucks. Changing dentist. Dont waste your time.

Think twice before you want to visit this facility.We have been with this dental clinic when it used to be An Elegant Smile. What a wonderful experience we had for every visit. I never felt that there was any problem. But since the time Gental Dental overtook this clinic it has become a nightmare. The doctors and staff would want to cheat you in any way possible. They will fill in your teeth, ask you to wear braces and would call you in for cleaning unnecessarily. On a recent ocassion we realised that we were sent invoices after a cleaning procedure that was not covered because it exceeds maximum visits. We had told them previously that we do not want any services that is not covered but they went ahead and did so without our concent. We are calling the office almost every week to talk to someone but after waiting for almost 2 months were informed that the facility is operating without a manager and have no idea when a new one will be hired. They keep sending us invoices after invoice and now it seems we will have to pay for their fault.😣😣😣

Short version: painful x-rays, rude staff, vague about costs of services, doctor promised one prescription to appease me then sent the pharmacy a different one, office never called me back to follow-up despite leaving messages.The whole story:Terrible experience. Went in with intense tooth pain, basically to tears. X-rays were the most painful Ive ever experienced. Dentist poked and prodded me to the point of me crying outright just to see if I had any pain response. Asked him to stop and he did it for another 5 minutes.Afterward a girl came in and told me this is going to be expensive to fix if you want to keep your teeth, then she walked out and told me to reschedule to meet with a financial advisor. Never received an actual amount. It was like she was trying to be as vague as possible.Asked to get some painkillers to help me sleep (remember enough pain to be in tears), and had a prescription sent straight to the pharmacy. Once I got there it was for Ibuprofen, despite being told it was for something stronger.I left the office in tears with the receptionist promising to call and help me schedule an appointment within the hour. Its been over a week and I havent heard from them even though I called and left a message.Absolutely the worst dental experience of my entire life. Wouldnt go back here for free dental work. What a mess.

My first appointment was for dentures. I was referred to an oral surgeon for extractions. The front office didnt send any information to the surgeon..xrays would have been nice. My gums were to heal and I would have an appointment in March. My appointment was for March 16th. The office no longer contracted with my insurance as of March 12th. I received a call March 14.The office offered no help with finding another dentist. The dentist seemed cordial..but the front office staff should find employment elsewhere..Walmart comes to mind. I would put An Elegant Smile at the bottom of your list and use them as a last choice.

I have been coming to An Elegant Smile Dentistry on E Bell Rd for the last several years. In that time I was introduced to Dr. Shahram Haghighat and our hygienist Mariah. Having horrible past experiences with dentists, it was a relief to have found Dr. Haghighat and I will follow him around Phoenix because not only do I and my family trust him but he makes the experience truly pleasant. Not something you can say for many dentists these days. Both Mariah and Dr. Haghighat have provided excellent service, in addition, for the most part the office staff is very helpful as well. Occasionally one of the front office gals might have a bit of a snippy attitude but it is rare.

Ive been going to AESD for several years, even referred people there. The only thing that keeps me coming back is the hygenist and dentists, which is the most important part. Its the front office staff that leave a lot to be desired. Monica the office manager is not very professional and can come off as being rude. Ive had several issues with her. And a lot of times when an appt. is made and then when the appt. comes around they try to tell you an earlier time than what you had originally made..........SO frustrating. Also, all these years Ive always been allowed to call at least 4 months in advance to make my next appointment. When I tried to do this the last time I was told no, you can only make them 2 months out and I told her Ive always done it at least 4 and she kept say no, you can only do it 2. I asked her if this was a new policy and she kept saying no, its always been this way.

Stopped using this dentist yrs. ago, due to rudeness, over charging and telling me I needed work that I didnt need. Now need my records, it took 2 months 11 phone calls and they still sent the info to the wrong email address. This is the worse place ever. If I could give minus stars I would..Stay away!
