Keri and the other very welcoming front staff were amazing. Very welcoming experience.I had Theresa as my dental assistant. She provided a good first patient experience as well.Dr. Schmidt was fun to talk to and made great conversation, making you feel as a part of the Life Smiles family. He was also very knowledgeable/professional and took the time to explain the pictures/X-rays as well as offering good dental hygiene tips.Maryellen did a great job cleaning my teeth. She was also very professional and offered great advice for cleaning your teeth at home, etc. It was fun talking to her about both of our travels and you can tell that she is very passionate about what she does.

I have been coming to Life Smiles since we moved to the Phoenix area nearly 10 years ago. Kelli is my hygienist and has also become a good friend over the years. Both doctors have done work on me and my family and they are both absolutely wonderful. The front staff is always very helpful, polite, and always accommodating. There is not ever one negative thing I could possibly say about this office and its entire staff. Everything has always been so positive and the work is exceptional. I have recommended this office to several friends as well. If you need a new dentist, try them! I promise, you will be so very glad that you did!

I have been looking for a dentist office that listens for 20 years. I have extremely sensitive teeth,I dont even call them sensitive ,I have exposed roots so even teeth cleanings feel like my teeth are being ripped out. I have explained to hygienists for years ,they never listen and rather then deal with the extreme pain again I office hop. I finally dont have to do that anymore. I found an office that listened,and foe the first time in forever I had zero pain during cleanings!!! Thank you for being amazing

I switched from my old dentist to Life Smiles about 3 years ago and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. Everyone is so nice and friendly and they’re quick while still doing top quality work. Unlike most dentists who are only open 8am-4pm they’re open 7am to 9pm depending on the day which gives me the flexibility I need. I would highly recommend this dentist to my family and friends.

I was looking for a new dentist and referred her by a friend. My first appointment was a routine cleaning and everything was absolutely amazing! The level of service provided by Dr Nielsen and the dental assistants (I had Jackie for my cleaning) was also wonderful. They were both thorough and gentle with my teeth. The entire staff is excellent! They are friendly but professional and are very helpful. Marti and Heidi are my two favorites since I’ve had contact the most with them. Marti as chief fronts man does an excellent job keeping things in check. I can’t say enough good things about Heidi who has the patience of Job! She takes the time and her talent to persevere and get everything perfect. And last but not least is Dr. Schmidt who has a chair side manner and dental expertise.

After braces for bite correction I needed my front teeth capped and my husband needed his front teeth capped due to chipping and filling loss. Dr. Nielsen’s work surpassed our expectations and our smiles make us smile! Wonderful work!

This was my first dentist visit in 8ish years. Due to bad experiences in my childhood, I’ve been afraid to go. I am also autistic, so sometimes certain experiences can be very overwhelming. I was absolutely blown away by how kind everyone at this office was. As soon as I told them I was anxious, everyone went above and beyond to make me feel safe and comfortable. Everything that was done to me was made very clear and I was always asked if I understood before we proceeded. I was given a way to nonverbally communicate that I needed a break, and although I did not need it, it was a comfort knowing I could do that. I never felt like a burden for asking so many questions. My hygienist Maryallen, was phenomenal. She treated me as if I was her own son, and I felt very safe. She also did an amazing job cleaning my teeth, I’m not afraid to smile anymore. Keri at the front desk remembered me from when I first called the office to set up my appointment. She was incredibly kind as well. Everyone was amazing. I will never go to another office, even if I move out of state I’ll make a point to come back here.

Life Smiles takes care of my whole family and we are all very pleased with the outstanding care we receive. Like most parents, I was nervous about how my littles would do with the experience of going to the dentist. Today I heard my 6 year old telling my 3 year old before her first visit, “they let you watch TV and you get a toy. It’s like a kids dream”. IMO, one of the best dental offices Ive been in. They are honest and caring. They listen to your concerns and provide all the answers and information you need. From the first step in the office to the last step of your visit is all positive.The staff at the front desk - Mari, Treatment Coordinator - follows up with me to make sure all my billing and appointment questions are answered and also provides appointment reminders or changes if needed. Every treatment plan is discussed thoroughly and provides a good timeline if it is a multiple procedure. Lily - patient coordinator - very accommodating to any last minute schedule changes and very understanding. I had an emergency one time and she was able to check with the dentist and made it work.Dentists and Dental assistant - Both Dr. Schmidt and Dr. Neilson do amazing work! Had the pleasure working with them both. They run by everything with you and very patient with me when I have a ton of questions. They make sure you know exactly what is being done. The Wednesday evening hours is the emergency life saver! Didnt have to sleep with pain and wait for the next day. Miranda - Dental assistant - listens to my concerns and addresses any worries with the doctor. I dont have the best memory and so appreciative to know Miranda listens.Jackie - Registered Dental Hygienist - Had a cleaning appointment and told her about my sensitive gums. Did amazing work and felt confident smiling for selfie again!Best doctors and staff all around in my opinion! Been with them for a little over a year now. I could go on and on but just know you will be taken care of no matter which staff you encounter. Thank you Life Smiles for all you do!

I’m not one who sees a dentist until it becomes an emergency. This office has changed my mind. From the reception desk to the treatment coordinator to the hygienists to Dr. Schmidt everyone and everything was done first class. There was no pushy effort to upsell care that wasn’t needed. The dentist explained what was needed, why it was needed and how it would be fixed. A quick and convenient appointment was scheduled. Two fractured fillings were removed and replaced in less time than it takes for an oil change. The whole process was easy, painless and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this office.

Having lost a crown on a flight to Phoenix, I was concerned it would be weeks before I could see a dentist. On my daughter’s recommendation, I called Life Smiles Dental, and was seen the next morning. I turned down an appt the same day I called, because of a prior engagement. The visit was amazing from the second I walked in, until I walked out. Front desk attendants were kind, and very professional. As soon as I finished paperwork, Miranda was there to escort me to the exam room and quickly had things done so I could see dentist. Dr. Schmidt came in promptly and introduced himself, made the decision my old crown could be used. Miranda prepared everything and stayed with me during the visit, talking to me and making me feel very comfortable. Dr. Schmidt quickly returned and did a great job of recementing the crown on. I was offered a great discount plan to help with the cost of visit and a first time patient offer for a later cleaning, X-rays, and exam.The office was spotlessly clean, everyone was efficient and so nice. I thank my daughter for recommending them to me!!
