Thank God for the Eliza Shirley House. I was at a very bad time in my life and I was pregnant with my first child back in 2008 and I applied to get shelter and was taken in quickly. Everyone from intake to the other ppl staying at the shelter were so nice. I laid my head there every nite and took a shower and ate. If this place didn’t exist I don’t know what would have happened. Today I am in such a better place in my life and Eliza Shirleys was part of the reason I was able to get my life back together. Thank you so much.

Im going to assume that its a great place since Ive never been in it. They shelter homeless families and provide all sorts of counseling.

Very clean and safe place. Friendly staff. Organized. Delicious food. Great hospitality the time I was there with my kids. And Sundays they have worship service. Thank God for this heaven in earth. 😇👍✨

Perhaps it was casual dress code day when we visited because surprisingly, we did not see anyone in the usual Salvation Army staff uniform. Nevertheless, we did enjoy the fellowship and leading a worship service here.
