I am very much happy that I found this community in Camden area. they give out produce and cooked food every Wednesday. I love to go there and pick it up may be every other week. They really are helpful in this pandemic specially.

Im a truck driver and I dont get to leave many positive reviews. Yes they were a little slow unloading and I had to wait awhile, but hands down the nicest group of people I have ever come across in my driving career. All of them were extremely polite and it was just really refreshing. I was not used to that.

Let me begin by stating that I have been a long time supporter of this organization and its efforts to provide for the community.Philabundance is a non-profit and is supposed to be bipartisan on political issues and is now complying with Trumps demands to send each donation box with a letter from the White House where he is claiming credit for feeding the poor. This is a blatant attempt to buy votes from the communitys most vulnerable.This is a well covered topic in the news and I am hoping that Philabundance does the right thing by stating neutral just weeks before the most contested election in Americas history. As a nonprofit, and non governmental association, it is the duty of the agency to stay nonpartisan. I will not be continuing my donations if they do not remove the letters immediately.It is sad as I want to continue donating and helping out but I will not support an organization that does not support the people its trying to serve. This is outrageous and the leadership should be well aware of the potential implications of not taking a stand when the country so desperately needs to be unified.These letters allow Trump to take credit for something he has absolutely nothing to do with. This is forcing the staff and volunteers to be pandering for votes when they should be staying neutral and nonpartisan.The leadership needs to seriously consider making the necessary changes to make sure that the much needed community funding support does not diminish.As a donor, Id hate to see those in need suffer anymore due to the lack of leadership in these most divisive times.

Theyre a food bank that supplies the 9 county metro Philadelphia area with fresh food and non-perishables. Their web site offers info on the areas hungry, how to help, and how to get help. Excellent volunteer opportunities and also consider starting your own at work or other personal food drive.

This is a great organization! My friend and I volunteered for warehouse help and from what I could see when you volunteer in the warehouse, theres about 3 major jobs. The big one is sorting items on a conveyor into prescribed boxes (canned pasta, canned soup, dried goods etc.). The other two jobs looked like breaking down boxes and taking foods from their packaging and checking the label/date before adding that food to the conveyor belt.Philabundance is a great place for volunteering and I highly recommend if you want to help make your community better!

We go here every once in a while to volunteer on family night. Their introduction to what they do is great and typically, an evening of volunteering takes 2-3hrs, but its a great way to introduce children to helping others. Its not too hard, wish they would have family volunteering more often. Great cause and great people.

I have Volunteered here many time during this Pandemic and I can honestly say you couldnt find more nicer people to send quality time with. They really do care and this place is ruined like a very well oiled machine.

Always a great time here. The staff is always wonderful and allow me to pick on them well just staffer Damien.. 😂😂😂 But volunteering is good for the soul and I love helping people. Thanks for being so welcoming always.
