The Philadelphia Boys Choir and Chorale changed my life!!I remember meeting Dr. Robert G. Hamilton in 1978 when I was a student at Hopkinson Elementary School singing in the school and District Choirs . Bob, Doctor Hamilton, was the director of the district choir as well as the then All- Philadelphia Boys Choir & Chorale. This organization has grown over the past 50+ years and is an American Institution.Thank you Bob for exposing me to the world of music, different cultures and people.
Its our new church location
This is a great organization for boys who love to sing. They have a girls choir as well, but Im not familiar with that side of the organization. My son enjoys honing his craft!
As a 5-year member of this amazing organisation, I can confidently say that this is one of the best places that a young boy can go to. The directors are a perfect mix of hard and kind, and the music is just short of extraordinary. Im so glad I got to spend the last few years of my life in this organisation.
Very good boy choir but competitive
I was in the choir for three years and it was the best time of my life. I miss it so much. If your son can sing, go try out. He will learn to control his voice and learn how to perform.
Clean. Clear direction in reading music and vocla lessons for me & my child. Best Vocal coach in Philly. Ask for Michael
I sing there and it is amazing the building is clean and modern, but the best part is that the sound is amazing.
Simply the best trained choir in the United States. Their 50th Anniversary Concert at Kimmel Center was purely epic.
