I recently went for a massage with Tracey and I was fairly (very) nervous. She was so kind and so thoughtful and was really willing to listen to my concerns to provide a super comfortable and relaxing massage. I highly, highly recommend Mellow and Tracey!

I have been patronizing Mellow since AT LEAST 2014 (and maybe back in 2011/the Scotts Lane location) so I think a review is long overdue.Maliam has been my massage therapist for most of the time I have been coming. So, I can only speak to my therapy experience with her. I appreciate the relationship built not only with her but the rest of the staff. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and professional. The space is beautiful. And on top of it, Mellow is Black-owned! 😊 Ive been a massage member for a few years so I go at least once per month.Maliam is an excellent therapist. She is attentive and skilled, both of which I appreciate very much. When I have problem areas she works them out and asks about and addresses any accommodations needed. I highly recommend her! Ive met with Tasha once and heard good things from others about her. I think I had one other therapist there who was a bit too light with the pressure but it was cool. Also, I have attended yoga at Mellow and loved the prenatal classes.Since COVID, attending is different but the warm, clean atmosphere is the same!

Mellow Massage is amazing! The appointment booking process is easy and follow up communication on point. Parking lot acceas is a plus and the space is beautiful. I have been going to Mellow Massage for deep tissue massage with Karen for a few years now, and SHE IS AMAZING! Karen is very knowledgable and talented in her ability to pinpoint stress and tension in muscles. I always get excited when I know Ill be on the table with her for 90 minutes - this is the best self-care I have ever given myself!

Just had a wonderful 90 minute massage with Glo. I was hesitant because of COVID but they are SUPER careful and clean, with an air purifier in each room. The spa is spotless and the staff is very friendldy and professional.

I had a massage with Stephanie M. for the first time. I have to say, I was VERY impressed with her technique and thoroughness. I love firm pressure and I didnt have to tell Stephanie to apply more.. she hit all the spots that were bad on my body. I feel amazing! I will definitely be coming back to see her :).

Such a wonderful experience! They fit me in pretty last minute (I woke up super sore and tight and it got worse as the workday progressed) which I know they could have been irritated about but they were so nice about it. I got the deep tissue/Swedish massage with Shae. It was definitely intense and she was super thorough, I know the payoff is going to be great. Also the environment was wonderful, the whole place smelled amazing like oils but not overly strong. Would definitely recommend to others, and plan to when I go to work tomorrow

My husband and I went to Mellow Massage for my birthday and enjoyed a couples massage by Jonathan and Julie. The staff is welcoming and pleasant. The rooms are clean, quiet, and refreshing. We missed the instruction to pick one aroma oil for our massage but they accommodated our separate taste. We were able to take home the remainder of the cream used for our massage and the oil. The location was convenient to our home, parking was plentiful and free, and easy to find. I will return and definitely recommend this facility to others.

Absolutely wonderful! I had a 90 minute massage with Vanessa. She was fabulous and her attention to detail was unlike anyone Ive gone to before. She almost magically sensed all the spots that needed the most work and really focused attention on them while still incorporating a full body massage. Her techniques were perfect for me! I already have my next appointment booked with her.

I had an amazing experience beginning the moment I walked in. I was greeted by Brandon. He offered to hang my coat for me then gave me a cup of water. He also offered me a cup of tea while I filled out my paperwork. I felt very comfortable. I was then greeted by Adam who did an amazing job with my Swedish massage. The atmosphere was awesome and the staff instantly made me feel welcome. Ive had massages at other places but Mellow definitely tops them all. I left feeling so relaxed. I visited Mellow Massage & Yoga twice and both times, I received massages by Jazz Curtis; she is an excellent therapist. She is really in tune with the body and her strokes are very concentrated on the specific muscle areas. She definitely knows what she is doing. I am not a native of the Philadelphia area, so I am not too familiar with the area, but I have been living here for a while. I am physically active (e.g. workout daily, an active runner and cyclist). As such, I had been wanting to find a good therapist to manage my tight muscles and take more proactive measures to prevent injuries. I am very particular about my health and wellness, so it was very important to me that I find an expert who knows what he/she is doing. Jazz definitely met my high expectations, and I look forward to continuing my therapy with her so that overtime, I can improve my trouble muscle areas and ultimately improve my fitness performance esp. running... I am writing this review on my 40+ birthday, following my session with her. I wanted to take the time to rate her skills because she is an excellent massage therapist and definitely knows what she is doing. I would highly recommend her to anyone! Additionally, the staff is very professional, friendly & welcoming. I made my arrangements with Brandon and both times, I found him to be very polite on the phone and very helpful in terms of selecting the best massage to meet my specific needs. Unfortunately, I have called other places where the greeting has not been as welcoming, and as such, I was not inclined to book an appointment with them. I came across Mellow Massage & Yoga through the Infinity Health & Wellness Center, where I also visit frequently; the two locations are partnered, and they both provide exceptional quality services.

I loved my session at Mellow Massage! My fiancé gifted me a Deep Tissue Massage for Christmas, and it was one of the best presents yet! My massage therapist was Julie, and she was so great. She asked about my problems areas and focused on those, but was also great about targeting the whole body. I loved the option of choosing my personal aromatherapy scent as well. The room was also very clean and comfortable.

This was by far the best massage Ive experienced. I got the signature massage. Johnathan was my therapist, hes a professional and very attentive. The entire staff is pleasant! Welcoming atmosphere, and most importantly relaxing. I cant wait to go back! !

RELAXING. We did 90 minute deep tissue couples massage....90 minutes of total relaxation. Crystal & Marguerite were awesome. EVERY muscle was worked. This experience definitely exceeded my expectations. We will be returning. I feel 100% better after leaving.

Just returned from receiving a 90 minute, deep tissue massage from Kehinde. As a massage therapist myself, I can say with confidence that Kehinde is an excellent therapist. She listened attentively to my areas of concern and addressed them with great proficiency. She definitely has healing hands. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a great, deep tissue massage!

It was my first time getting a massage (my boyfriend made an appointment for me because he said I needed a break from my finals). Im so glad that he convinced me to go. My masseuse, Nikki, made sure I was comfortable and relaxed. She definitely did some work to my back (I had a good amount of tension back there)! Although I was pretty sore right after the massage (which is normal), Im glad I did it because my back feels a lot better now. Ill definitely consider coming back for another session!

I have had several services, Massage & Colonic Package, Intergrated Mellow Massage, 60 & 90 min Deep Tissue, and the foot treatment. i was please each and every time. Yesterday, I had a 90 min. deep tissue massage and the foot treatment with Johnathan!! Chris the receptionist asked me to pick my oil and offered me water before we started. I love to schedule my appointment online because it is so easy, but whenever I have called to reschedule the staff has been respectful and very accommodating. I picked the tranquility oil and hydrated before we began. Johnathan and I talked briefly about what areas to concentrate on and the pressure I would like. The massage was great, it went by so quickly, I woke myself up snoring at least three times which means I was in a great state of relaxation! After, he mentioned what I should do if I have any soreness. The space is always clean and neat. It is not a spa, but the quality of service has exceeded many spas I have been too. I will be returning! Hopefully they will consider adding facials to their services then I wont need to go anywhere else!

I am always pleasantly greeted upon my arrivals and informed of all discounts and specials that I could take advantage of.I purchased a crochet shawl/cow neck piece because, of the workmanship I had to have it.But the cherry on the top is Tara...she has magic fingers and hands...she always gives me healthy tips...and the 60 minute massage is never long enough...she does an excellent job...one of the best!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of the best massages I have ever had in my life, hands down! I recommend Mellow Massage to everyone. I personally drive 1.5 hrs. at least twice a month for the massage service. The atmosphere is beautiful. Mellow Massage and the staff is excellent.

My wife saw Marguerite for a 60 minute prenatal massage, she was very pleased. The receptionist was super nice, and they were all quite accommodating. The online scheduling system is super convenient and well done.I wish we had the money to do this on the regular... We dont, but if we find it, well go here again in future.

Calming from the second I walked into the reception office. All staff are friendly and warm. The massage room was peaceful and dark and I appreciated getting to pick the essential oil scent I wanted in my room. The woman giving me a deep tissue massage, Malium, was lovely and encouraged me to speak up at any time if the pressure was too low or too high. All of my problem areas were addressed and she followed up after the massage to give me homework on how to take care of myself. Only reason for a 9 instead of a 10, was I thought the price was high after a tip: $125 for an hour. Instead of marketing a tipping scale in every room of the massage therapy office, Id simply include it in the bill upfront. Thanks! Scheduled my appointment in July and cant wait!

I was in a car accident a month ago, and I have been suffering from acute pain from muscle spasms and stiffness. My neurologist recommended that I try massage therapy and I found this place that thankfully accepts auto insurance.This is my first time trying out a full-out professional massage therapy so I was nervous because I didnt know what to expect. The atmosphere was so warm, the receptionist was so friendly and welcoming, and the staff was great and personable. My massage therapist did a Swedish and deep tissue massage for me, and even though it was painful, she really worked with me to get into the trigger points. I felt better right after the session.I highly recommend this place. I am very pleased with my experience from the beginning to the end. I know that they earned a loyal customer from me!

Thank heaven for this little slice of eden here in East Falls. The yoga classes are great, and the massage is amazing. Ive seen two different masseurs so far and both found problem spots I either didnt realize or forgot to mention. I left feeling invigorated and more flexible. Perfect - I would highly recommend treating yourself to a membership or multi-massage pack and going on a regular basis. Regular massage makes you feel younger especially if you work out and/or run quite a bit and have built up knots and tightness.

I have gotten massages with Karen at Mellow Massage four times and plan to continue going regularly. The office staff is polite and professional, the atmosphere is relaxed, and Karen gives the best deep massages ive ever had. She also showed me some stretching exercises that are very helpful. Because of her I am hopeful that I will be free of the neck and shoulder pain that has plagued me for years. Thumbs up!

Ive had a few massages at Mellow for the past couple years. Today I had a 90 minute massage with Mandi, and it was a wonderful experience. She was very thorough, asking me if the pressure was OK and if I needed anything else. All in all, Mandi was great and I will be making an appointment soon for another visit!

Sati Rose gave me a magical Thai Yoga massage. I really love this style of massage because it helps open up the joints as well as releasing muscle tension. Satis technique is very precise. It was amazing that even very small, gentle motions she does have a BIG effect! Sat Nam!

I have been a client of Mellow Massage for a number of years, and decided to treat myself to a membership a year or so ago. I see Twanna once a month for an hour-long signature massage, and she works absolute wonders. I used to think of massage therapy as a once in a while type of luxury experience, but have come to view it as an important part of my health care--both physical and mental! I am a chronic migraine sufferer, and carry a lot of tension in my neck and upper back. Since Ive started seeing Twanna monthly (and sometimes twice a month, when necessary), Ive noticed a definite improvement in these areas of chronic tension. I am constantly recommending Twanna, and Mellow Massage in general, to my friends and family members. The center itself is always impeccably clean, with fabulous smelling candles and oils burning, and the atmosphere is calming and luxurious without feeling pretentious, the way some other places can seem. The staff is always very courteous and accommodating--especially Brandon, who typically greets you when you arrive and calls to remind you of your appointments. Standard pricing is in line with what youd find at most other places, but the membership pricing is a really solid deal. Plus, you get 10% off of any other services you schedule in between your monthly appointments, which is a nice bonus.

My lovely husband surprised me with my first massage and it was wonderful! The staff was magnificent.

I am really disappointed after reading so many great reviews. I received what was suppose to be a Swedish/ Deep tissue fullbody massage, by therapist Michelle. Im not sure if she was new, but my massage felt rushed and disconnected. She did not communicate at all, and it felt as if she was completely unaware of the bodys muscular system. I was uncomfortable as she used entirely too much oil. She didnt warm up the muscles at all before attempting to release trigger points, as well as pressing firmly in various tender places. Subsequently, the muscles that were already tight, are now mildly inflamed. 80% of the massage was all thumbs, leaving larger areas of my muscles unsoothed. My pec muscles were skipped, and a third of my quads were engaged. On the other hand, the staff had great customer service and vibes were high. Also, they have a selection of complementary essential oils to choose from, so that was nice. All in all, Im not sure I will be returning. Not for $90 when the massage I got was worth $30 at best. Retraining is definately needed.

LInda gave me a deep and thorough massage which also included reflexology. I was very happy with her work and the atmosphere at Mellow. I felt great afterwards.

I bought a couples massage for my boyfriend and I and we used it last weekend. Our therapists were Natalie and Ellen. We were a little late to our appointment but they were very accomodating and took us right away. Our experienece there was very relaxing and soothing. The massage for both of us was amazing. There was very little noise outside our room and Natalie and Ellen were very calming and were great about asking us how much pressure to use. We both enjoyed our massage very much and highly reccommend Mellow Massage!

I LOVE Mellow Massage. Going there is always a delightful and calming experience; a lovely oasis escape from the rest of the world. Every massage therapist is fantastic, but Cara is my go-to. Cara is a passionate technician whose love for her craft transmits to her clients muscles, as if by magic! My job had brought Mellow Massage in for the staff and that is how I heard about them. Margurite gave me my chair massage and it was great. I said then that I had to go by their salon to get a full massage. I of course did not have the time prior to today. My friend and I had a massage by Cara and Twana. From the moment we walked in the staff was pleasant and accomodating. It was one of the best experiences I have had. I will definitely go back again.

Purchased a Yelp DealAs a full-time LMT myself I know the Value in Finding a Technically Skilled Massage Therapist - My Experience scheduling my session time was any thing but easy ~ speaking to 4 different people including the Owner at Mellon Massage about my appointment. Service is important to me especially at the Point of Sale and My Time is VERY Important to me.Jonathan began his session using creme which is not part of a Myofascial/Trigger Point Release session. He did shift gears after being instructed I wasnt looking for a Swedish Massage.He told me he wasnt certified in either Myofascial or Trigger Point Release Therapies ~ however provided a good overall massage.Because he equated my description to pin-point pressure and not actually sinking into the tissue as it released ~ I am still sore in the Sacral and QL regions 4-days after my session.Jonathan delivered a Good overall Massage and he IS skilled just not Certified to Deliver the Modalities of Work I inquired about and requested.Frank
