I went in to take my physical to make Dr. Stoll my primary doctor. Love the guy so far! However when I went to take my blood drawn the assistant rushed, like I understand being backed up but I do not like getting pricked 3-4 times in one arm then twice in the other. Also when she administered the vaccine she a shot a bubble into my arm and it hurt. And she doesn’t even apologize after everything.

New patient and was very happy with my experience! Fast, efficient, and kind. Highly recommend!

I’ll tell you what. Dr stoll is great & I loved dr mink. I have had the absolute worst experiences here the past few years.these people have no regard for mental health. I called with an urgent message about side effects from a new medication and said I really needed to speak with the doctor today. No call back, nothing. Thank god I have a support system- because the side effects were suicidal ideations. Never going back. I’m disgusted with them to be honest. Bye bye!!!!

I am so glad I’m able to come here for my care. It’s convenient for me to get here from work (about a 5 min drive, 10-15 min walk). Everyone is very friendly and chill. The doctors are excellent , make you feel comfortable and are non judgmental. Everything is done efficiently, I love it and would HIGHLY recommend.

I just moved to Philadelphia, and am thrilled to have found Stoll Medical Group. I had my first appointment with Dr. Desalvo a few weeks ago. She was very attentive in getting to know me and my medical needs. I am happy to have found a Dr. that I trust right off the bat.

Dr. Stoll and his team are extremely happy and put you in a good mood after leaving from there. He’s an amazing doctor with great bedside manners. He’s positive, uplifting, and funny. I Love going to him for annual checkups. Would recommend him to everyone who wants a great doctor.

I had called the office 5 different times to confirm my appointment and check to see what all was needed. When I arrived, neither of the front desk personnel acknowledged me (saw this happen with another person that checked in). Not very friendly and seemed very over everything.The medical assistant was also not the nicest and a bit cold. I get it was later in the day and she was busy but honestly, yikes.I then had to wait an HR after my scheduled time to finally be seen.Will not be returning.

I never post reviews but feel this is necessary. PA Geena G was incredibly unprofessional. Terrible bedside manner and barely looked at the camera during the telehealth video. Short and took no time to hear me. Made it my fault that couldn’t get in appointment for med refill. I see I am not the only one with this experience. I have been going to this practice for years and finally done for good.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stoll for years. He is always thorough and available to see me quickly. This week, I had minor skin surgery with my new dermatologist, Dr. Gupta, who is also part of Stoll Medical Group. Her and her team were patient and kind when answering all of my questions. During the procedure, they checked on me frequently and truly put me at ease! Overall- felt like I was in super capable hands and looking forward to needed follow ups!

The waiting area was very clean, which I appreciate a lot. My wait time was not long at all. I saw Dr. Stoll at the time I was schedule to see him. When I met Dr. Stoll he was full of energy and very funny. He listened to my concerns and was attentive during my visit. He took the time to introduce me to the Sports Medicine doctor and schedule me for an appointment with him. I had a great experience at Dr. Stolls office the staff, I would recommend friends and family to him.

I love Dr. Steven Stoll. His bedside manner is impeccable. He really cares about his patients and their well-being. A lot of docs have prejudices that they carry with them into the office, but Dr. Stoll is as warm and welcoming as they come; never once have I felt too uncomfortable to talk to him about what was ailing me.

Dr. Stoll and his staff were awesome! The office is clean and organized and very efficient. Dr. Stoll took the time to listen to me and gave me the opportunity to discuss my concerns without feeling rushed. I am glad I found a great PCP!

Dr. Chris was great....Wonderful follow up to my lyme disease diagnosis! The antibiotics regime cleared me right up.Had a blood test right in the office to make sure I was totally clear.

Misrepresent themselves online. they will flat out refuse to help you in any way if you are trans. Id been stuck in doctor limbo for weeks waiting for this appointment, they wouldnt even refill the same prescription Ive had for years, just to tide me over until I found a doctor that would help. this is NOT an lgbt friendly office. They will make a show of it. they will pretend to be nice and accommodating then flat out refuse basic lgbt care to your face. it was demeaning and humiliating.also, they brought a student in without prompting or asking

Do not go to this practice. Geena Galvagno is a terrible PA. She rushed me through my entire appointment and didn’t ask me any questions for a normal preventative check up. I have been to doctors in the past that were not very friendly, she is downright rude and made me so uncomfortable which is something a doctor should NEVER do.She didn’t even look at my medical notes when talking to me and it was as if I was on an episode of impractical jokers. I swear I’m not being a Karen on this one. Please do yourself a favor and look anywhere but here for a doctor visit.

PA Geena Galvagno was extremely unprofessional. I felt rushed and she did not ask me to summarize my health concerns, she didn’t even look over the medical techs notes. She told me a test might not come back accurate and tried to blame me for it. Please go to anyone else. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any medical professional

Came all the way here for an appointment with my usual PCP and they neglected to tell me they don’t take my insurance anymore. I’m in ungodly pain and they are incompetent. Choose another PCP because if they don’t take your insurance randomly anymore they’ll make you waste your time.

Very disappointed by my interaction with the front desk staff. I asked to leave a message with my PA, and this person proceeded to make diagnostic judgements. She said, “well, she’s just going to tell you...” and hung up on me when I said that she did not know what she was talking about and to simply deliver a message. So not her place to insert herself into my conversation with my healthcare provider. Completely unprofessional. The practice needs to better train their junior staff.

Stoll medical group is a great primary Care doctor theyre very kind courteous respectful get the job done take care of whatever it is that you go to see them for and if they cant they advise you away to have it taken care of but I have never had a bad experience that stole medical group my primary care physician is Dr Stephen Stahl and I give him the best rating that anybody could ever receive as a primary care physician and I am very fortunate to say that I have him as my primary care physician

I had an appointment at11:45 am. The group sends reminding texts. The reception desk is pleasant.Then, a nurse came in rather promptly and checked my vitals. A student from Drexel also came in and took vital informations.My appointment was with Chris E. And he deslt with my issue efficiently.Though the website says “ same day appointment” but I was never successful even though my issues were serious but not life threatening.

Dr.Stoll is amazing!! First of he is an absolute goof , and keeps you smiling the entire appointment. He has a great bedside manner and listens to what your issues are. If he feels that your issue is best handled by a specialist he will let you know instead of making assumptions. The office is very comfortable and covid friendly.

Today I was seen by Chris, a physician’s assistant at the Stoll Practice. Chris did a good review of my issue, answered all my questions and advised me of any follow up that may happen. I am very happy with the treatment I received and highly recommend Chris and the Stoll practice.

Reception is terrible, they truly dont care about your health needs and talk over you when you call them with your questions and concerns.Aside from that, they wont fill urgent prescription needs without seeing you, but are unwilling to make emergency appointments for those and force you to have to go to Urgent Care.Go somewhere else for your medical needs, this place is awful.

Dr Stoll has been my doctor for the past three years and he got my blood pressure down and I am grateful. Also, he is very thorough making sure I am up to date with my shots and blood work. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for a good doctor.

I had my first visit with Dr. Desalvo, and I was super pleased! The staff at the office was polite and efficient, and I only waited for about 10 or so minutes before Dr. Desalvo sat with me (and I was fairly early, too). I LOVE her, its clear that she is knowledgeable/experienced, and she is also very thorough. I went for a physical but went over a few other health issues that we were able to talk about, and Dr. Desalvo was quick to refer to treatment options or specialists I needed that she trusted. Im really glad I made the switch and I trust that Im in good hands!

They are always able to find an appointment for me relatively quickly. All of the doctors are easy to talk to and knowledgeable about medications. Not only are the doctors awesome, but the front staff is spectacular. They seem to have endless patience and are able to communicate to get exactly what you need. Especially Paula, they have been endless help and have an extreme level of patience that always amazes me. Thank you all so much for your help!

Please go anywhere else. If you need a quick appointment for an employment physical or something like that, sure use them. It’s basically a designer urgent care center. They do not actually care about their patients. If you have chronic conditions or need a diagnosis, go somewhere else. And the dermatologist, while very nice and professional, does not do actual dermatological procedures. She can’t remove cysts, and they recommended me to a plastic surgeon for removal who just recommended the Stoll dermatologist! And the front desk is not good and they don’t do their own billing, they don’t seem to know what they’re doing. And also, Dr. Stoll is not funny like he thinks he is, and his entire bedside manner is disingenuous and offensive. He made jokes about my latino last name and interracial relationship, its just weird. Those scribes cannot hide how annoyed he makes them and I can’t blame them. This place sucks.

I highly recommend Stoll Medical Group for your dermatological needs. Dr. Gupta and her team demonstrated strong evidence based knowledge and shared this information in a patient friendly manner. Dr. Gupta was punctual and provided several opportunities to ask any clarifying questions.

It was a quick and easy process. The doctors were great and addressed my concerns. I did notice the walls between my room and the next were quite thin and I could hear what was being discussed. This would be the only reason for not giving them 5 stars. Privacy in a doctors office should not be overlooked. I will go back to them in the future.

Ive always had great experiences here with all my doctors. I especially love Dr. Jessica DeSalvo, but really all the doctors are attentive and kind. They clearly paid attention to the patient-centered care education they got in med school!

Had a fantastic experience seeing Geena for telemed as well as an in person visit. She not only spent a lot of time with me during my scheduled appointments, but she also called me back to follow up with lab results and was extremely thorough in explaining everything to help resolve my concerns. As a health care provider I know that even these phone calls can take time and effort and I am very appreciative of the quality care. Highly recommend!

Terrible. Nice attitude when you first meet but afterward has no time even to refill a prescription. They are overbooked and you will wait for appointments every time. Too concerned with $$$ to be concerned with patient care.

Receptionist was very rude. Barely made eye contact when she spoke, was not helpful when trying to figure out an issue. When I came in for an appt that was scheduled via the phone, I started the check in process and her comment was they can’t see you because you have an outstanding bill. I brought up that this was an issue with the way they billed my insurance last year and I’m waiting for them to re-send the proper paperwork to my insurance. Her only comment was “we don’t do billing here so you need to figure it out”. Very very rude- as I told her I don’t have any paperwork or details in front of me so I can’t call someone on the spot and handle this. If it was an issue seeing a doctor today, why didn’t someone tell me when I made the appt as I would have done this at home prior. She wouldn’t even look up to make eye contact and just said I can’t help you, we don’t do this here. Gave attitude the entire time. Unfortunate as Doctor Stoll is so positive and polite and this is the type of person that is greeting and assisting his patients.

This group is great. I just started going there in the fall and they have provided excellent care and recommendations. They are very transparent about your options and let you choose what works best for you. The waiting room is covid safe and the staff is very curteous and friendly.

Would generally recommend. Did not appreciate having to remove my mask to take an oral temp after having my temp taken with a temporal gun in the lobby. I’d specifically worn a disposable mask under my cloth mask and had intended on not touching my mask while in the office. This temperature taking did not allow for that, I also was in the waiting area when someone was turned away because they had a pending COVID test and apparently hadn’t answered their phone/returned calls. They left fairly quickly but paused to discuss the status of their health insurance with the receptionist. Overall feeling fairly confident I was safe there but not 100%.

Showed up at the office at 3:15 pm for my 3:15 pm appointment. The receptionist was very nice. I filled out new client paperwork and sat down. Around 3:50 pm I decided to check on my car because I couldnt extend the meter time for some reason. Discovered parking is restricted where my car was parked from 4 pm to 6:30 pm, so I called the office to tell them I needed to move my car. Most of the parking in the area is restricted so it took about 15 minutes to actually find another spot.I received a call from the office just as I found a spot and told them Id be walking back to be seen. I paid for an hours worth of time thinking that would be more than enough time. The receptionist said the doctor would be ready as soon as I got back. When I got back to the lobby I was the only one left, after waiting around 10 minutes the nurse took me back. Its now around 4:30 pm and the nurse is done taking my vitals. 15 minutes later at 4:45 pm, I decided to go back to my car and leave.The only thing I got from this appointment was wasted time, PTO, & gas. I always tell myself not to book any appointments in Philly, the combination of no parking and long waiting times is why I always go out of my way to the suburbs. This was my exception because my wrist is in constant pain and I wanted it looked at as soon as possible. No other physicians had availability this week.

Fantastic experience with the entire Stoll Medical Team. I saw Erica as the primary care provider and she was friendly and very knowledgeable. The entire team was efficient and very pleasant. I really like that they have a lab on site and that they can do blood work during the visit. I will be using Stoll Medical Group for my primary care.

I’ve been using Dr Adam Lyons regarding my severe osteoarthritis in my knees. His patience is really appreciated, and I never feel rushed. He takes time to listen to me, and truly cares about helping his patients. He’s a wonderful doctor, and I’m glad he’s there for me. I want to keep my knees as long as I can, and Dr Lyons gives me my best chance at that.

I wasnt treated super well. Other people were in the room (students) and I wasnt okay with that nor was I asked if I was okay with that. The doctor interrupted me and just told me to see a specialist. So.....that was an interesting 15 minutes spent.

Had a breast cancer scare and they saw me within a few days! Visited a few times for check ups and never had a bad experience.

The PA that I virtually met with on two occasions seemed knowledgeable and friendly, and I have no complaints there. My issue is pretty silly. I know I am an adult and should be capable of putting an appointment on my calendar and keeping it. That being said, this is the only doctors office I have ever been to that doesnt send out any type of appointment reminder, be it a call, text, or email, and Ive consequently missed 2 virtual appointments. For virtual appointments, the text that is sent at the time of your appointment is something like: Mary Watson wants to meet on doxy.meThe second appointment I missed, I woke up to that text and immediately deleted it as I thought it was spam. There is no mention of Dr. Stolls office or even a title for the PA I was supposed to be meeting with. As doxxing someone is something bad typically done on the internet, I naturally assumed doxy.me was some sort of phising scam. I never got a follow up phone call or anything asking why I missed my appointment, I just happened to realize about 2 days later what had happened.These things are pretty dumb and could be solved by me being more responsible, yes, but at the same time, I feel like it would make everyones life easier to at least send a confirmation text the day before an appointment.

They’ve generally done a great job there. The only issue I’ve had is regarding the dating of ongoing monthly prescription refills that don’t take into account the different lengths of each month. Putting a refill date on the same day each month (ex. the 14th) has sometimes lead to being without medication for a day or more because the first prescription month had 31 days, but a 30 say supply of tablets - so after filling the prescription the same day and taking the first dose, 30 days pass and I had finished the medication supply on the 12th of the following month (since I took the first dose the day it was prescribed). In cases like this the refill date should have been on the 13th for the subsequent month so that I could fill it the next day and take the first dose of the refill. It’s a minor issue, but one that I’ve had to explain a few times, and has resulted in a few stressful situations when at home without the meds. However, this is more of a logistics issue, and not an issue with the clinic itself or the staff. Everyone there is great, and I would absolutely recommend.

I have been a patient of SMG for a few years and now see Dr. Shah there. She is always very professional and takes time to ask and answer questions. I have never felt rushed by her or the rest of the staff. Everyone in the office is very friendly and professional. Occasionally I will see a different doctor and they have also been very professional. It is easy to communicate with the office by email and phone calls are answered right away.Dr. Shah always remembers my previous visits and asks follow-up questions on how I am doing which I appreciate. She remembers my wife (we have different last names) and always asks how she is doing. I feel like a real person that she cares about, not just a number.I would highly recommend this practice.

I just came out of my physical and Ive never had an experience like this before with any doctor. Dr. Bryan Botti was so human and kind. He asked the right questions and made me feel very welcomed. Im definitely coming back here and keep my relationship with this doctor because he is AWESOME!

The visit itself was great, from the doctor to the lab tech. However, the receptionist sent me to the wrong referral center, without a referral. I had to return to the office and received a referral to the wrong center again. It wasnt until I took matters into my own hands and called Penn that they gave me the correct information that Stoll failed to give me twice.

I was billed as an office visit , although it was my annual checkup. When i called the front desk they did not help me /and refused to answer any question regarding my billing. They said that they outsource their billing to someone else and provided me a number with an extension code. An office which codes me wrong and doesnt help me with billing/ or answers question about it is not a place i will return back to.Adding to my previous post-Stoll med group doesnt handle any of its billings and outsource it to a company in NJ. If you have any question or you were coded wrong , you will basically have to call a customer service number. You will not get any assistance from Stoll medical. The whole ordeal is very time consuming .I have tried multiple times calling the customer service and left VMs and still waiting for a reply.

Very well organized office and friendly staff. Easy to make appointments. Visit was very thorough and Dr. DeSalvo called back the following day with test results and recommendations. The office is very conscientious regarding Covid safety. Very little time was spent waiting in either reception or in the exam room. The onsite lab is very helpful. We are extremely pleased with Stoll Medical Group.
