Dr. Schmidt was my preceptor when I had my clinical experience for the nursing grad. school in his clinic. He is a compassionate doctor and a great role model for new health professionals. Now, being a nurse practitioner, from time to time I run across his patients, and they all have worm words to say about him and his staff.

Cannot get in touch with anyone

Dr Schmidt has become very ignorant these last few years especially to my mother whose been dealing with cancer for almost 20 years ,judging her and being disrespectful to her. He barely would write her a prescription for insulin. Wrote her a prescription without the dose and would not answer the phone or try to fix it with concern saying that the pharmacy would “probably” do it. Assuming for a doctor is very unprofessional and everyone in the world knows you can’t just take a empty script to a pharmacy and expect service.

My family has been going to this doctor for YEARS! My great grandmother was getting treatment from here! They are simply amazing! I absolutely recommend this doctors office to anyone!! You absolutely WILL be taken care of!!

Dr Schmidt and his stuff help my mother over 30 years . This is truly a family doctor . My siblings and I come and and soo do our children. This doesn’t feel like a doctors office , it feels like family people who really care ..

Love Dr. Schmidt, grew up in his office. His front desk staff... not so much. Called to make an appointment and had me on hold for an hour then sent me to voicemail. Changing doctors soon.

I love the convenience of walk in hours or appointments. The staff is friendly. They have a phlabotomist on site. Dr. Schmidt is smart on diagnosing and familiar with a wide range of symptoms. Which should be the norm for all doctors but isnt these days. There is no judgement or ridicule just solid doctor instructions and advice. There is free off street parking though it is limited. One of the things I dont like is that they want to charge you for copies of your records and test results. I like being able to review my results myself. They will forward them to your specialist for free.

Over the many years of undivided care from doctors practicing different medicine, I would only refer to this office. Dr Schmidt and his staff have grown with me over 25 years. By the way its worth the wait.

Dr Schmidt is the best doctor in Philadelphia ...best of the best in my opinion

Dr. Schmidt is a horrible doctor. He was my and my husbands doctor for 10 years. My husband died because he refused to help me. I was driving my husband to work when he collapsed in the car. We were a few blocks away from the doctors office so I drove to his office to ask for help. He was too busy reading a piece of paper to help me. He told me to take my husband to the ER. I had to drive my dead husband to the ER where I was told that he died from Cardiac arrest. His death could have been prevented if Dr. Schmidt had helped me.

They don’t answer the phones and they refuse to test me for Mac lung disease again and I know it came back because I’m getting sick again.
