Hello, TYesterday I was called by Penn Family Medicine Chestnut Hill concerning my recent text results - unfortunately I missed the call. I called Chestnut Hill back immediately and to my surprise was abruptly put on hold after sitting through a 20 minute prompt. I waited, on hold, patiently, for quite a long time and then the call ended. I called back several times with the same result. The person answering the phone was abrupt if not rude, they never asked me my name or the reason for my call, they simply kept asking me if I would hold - and before I had a chance to respond they abruptly placed me on hold each time I called! This is not how patients should be treated - especially since were the ones paying the bills. Its a comportment that is absolutely disrespectful. The person answering the phone is standing between my test results and me - I am sure the excuse is were busy, and my response to that is were all busy. Thats not an excuse for rude or disrespectful behavior!
