I was able to get a last minute appointment for both of my daughters for feed-in cornrows. Shop was clean and braider was fast. Will return again.

I was serviced by the staff at Penda today. They were very professional, timely and nice. I am very pleased with my result. I showed the stylist a picture of the feeding braids I wanted and she was able to duplicate the style. I would definitely recommend penda to others and i will be back.

I went here and got straight backs. At the time I was rushing so my hair was tangled. She didn’t even attempt to comb my hair she braided it with the naps so the end result was terrible. The ends of the braids were trash. Not to mention while she was braiding she put her nasty crusty feet next to my head as she braided the ends. I Will Nevee go here again!!

Rhema does my hair perfect every time. She does not braid tight, will not pull your edges and braids nice and neat. I tell her how I want my hair and she prefects my hair with or without showing her a picture.

Rude and unprofessional.. I arrived at the shop it was EMPTY the braider made me wait until she finished eating her food. Was watching a movie and asked her what was going on and she ignored me.. my daughters hair came out nice but the atmosphere sucked

Well, I guess Im bougie because I dont want a filthy dirty comb caked with dirt, dust, and gel in my hair. As a substitute to the comb, she opted to part my hair with a metal clip. Wow!No wonder I havent allowed anyone to braid my hair in 15 years. Theyre okay for the round the way girl, but for professionals with disposable income more than willingly willingly to pay for exactly what you want, this is NOT the place for you....And they used this extra course brand of braiding hair, not premium Kanekelon. This makes perfect sense for blending with natural hair, but hair that is relaxed can have something more sleek, light, and flexible.Words really CANNOT Express how much I HATE my hair. I will be getting them re-done next week.....AND I specifically requested that the hair not be braided past the small of my back. Upon this request Penda said that was still very long and they charge for length....Nonetheless this chick braids my hair 10 inches PAST my back!! I cannot.No wonder Ive always braided my own hair, good help is extremely hard to find.

I brung my daughter here to get her hair braided and they were very rude! One of the ladies told me she cried too much. But my daughter said they pulled her hair very hard! She is not tender headed and usually wont cry because she loves getting her hair done. I would never take her back here again!
