Its funny everyone that gave 5 stars was just a google user ...hmmmm fishy! The best massages I get are at the harlem irving plaza in the chair with your cloths on and I was looking for that!!! I didnt try groupon because this place was 5 minutes from my mothers house where I was watching her dogs. I called and they seemed very friendly and I told them...I am 43 years old and have been a dog groomer my whole life and I also work with rescue groups and my back has been shot! I needed a massage that is DEEP AND HARD AND FROM SOMEONE THAT KNOWS ALL THE PRESSURE POINTS! She said , we have that just for you here! I see a chiropractor and next time I go , I will ask him FOR A GOOD PRESSURE POINT MASSAGIST! Now to this place! All I got was a costly rub down! I asked for a man on the phone and got a woman. She didnt go near my muscles! She stayed on the top layer of my skin, now I am 59 and weigh 110 lbs, I have no fat and still, she just rubbed! Didnt do my hands or feet. I will complain if something is not right. I told her 15 minutes into the massage that I wanted it like I explained and still it was a crying shame! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW THEY PAY RENT BECAUSE I AM 100 % POSITIVE THEY GET NO REPEAT CLIENTS!

I had been researching massage places recently to find a reasonably priced deep tissue massage in the area. Found this place this morning and was suprised to see that 60 min deep tissue was 70 bucks on their website. Not too bad. I called for an appointment and was told not to worry, they take walk ins but that it was actually 75 dollars. Upon arrival (15 mins later) I was told that it was 80 dollars. When I told the woman we had just spoken on the phone and I was told 75, she told me oh. The 80 is for using credit cards. I was holding cash in my hand. And when I asked to break a twenty for tip, there was conveniently no change ( maybe in hopes that I would just leave the 20, which i would have if it was a great massage) I was then showed to the room and got ready. The woman who worked the front desk was also the therapist. No one else in sight. She was cold and not very friendly. I let that go since all I wanted was a deep tissue massage with a lot of pressure. My field of work causes terrible knots and uncomfortable pain daily. I used to get worked on once a month but these days money is tight and I figured I couldnt go any longer and I deserved a break from the pain. I explained my situation and where I needed most concentration. I then recieved the most effortless, lazy massage Ive ever paid for. Even when I asked for more pressure, all I got was light rubbing. When she felt my knots, she quickly moved away from them as to avoid doing any actual work. I politely asked if maybe there was a misunderstanding and I was getting the Swedish. She said no this is deep tissue. Couldve fooled me. The lack of any technique led me to believe that she had no real training and the massage was comparable to that of a friend with no training saying fine, Ill rub your back if itll shut you up. Please dont make the same mistake I did. Waste of money. Luckily I have a loving wife who felt bad for me and booked me a real massage at s physical therapy office for tommorow. Le massage place is a joke and a scam.
