I am vaccinated and followed the protocol set by the location. It never occurred to me to ask if my therapist would be vaccinated. When I checked in, I asked about vaccination and then was directed to my therapist. I asked if she was vaccinated. She indicated she’s not. Unfortunately, *** she also was not wearing her mask correctly.*** I had to ask her to place her mask over her nose. I am uncomfortable being in close quarters with someone who’s not vaccinated and not careful!! I did bring a mask just in case but I really didn’t appreciate following the safety protocols as a customer and then having a non-vaccinated therapist spend 90 minutes with me in a closed room. I decided to immediately leave and stopped by the front desk to express my concerns. They were awful! Argumentative and not helpful! I can’t request a vaccinated employee because it’s against HIPAA, they said. It makes absolutely no sense. When I asked for the owner’s phone number, I was told to write down the number from a plague on the wall. Just awful. I would give zero stars if I could.

If I could rate with zero stars I would! I did not realize I had actually booked an appointment until I checked my email and saw the confirmation. I called to try and cancel and explain what happened but before I could, the receptionist very rudely told me that I would be charged for half the total charge for a service I never even received! What an absolute rip off! This would have been my first professional massage but I WILL NEVER use this place nor will I ever recommend to anyone I know!

My wife has had a membership the Massage Envy in Park Ridge for a year now. They routinely get appointments wrong. It has been impossible to get a good massage twice in a row because when you schedule an appointment with someone they never put you with that person, so if you find someone you like it becomes impossible to get them again.Today I picked up my wife from her massage at 2pm, and I had a massage scheduled for 2:30pm. My wife was talking to the receptionist and told her she liked her massage and wanted to make sure I got the same person. The receptionist confirmed I had the same masseuse. I then walked my wife across the street to her manicure appointment. When I returned the receptionist had replaced my masseuse with someone else. When I asked her she looked at her pc and said it doesnt say that here. She actually acted like it was the first she had heard of it.Terrible receptionists. I hope the masseuses understand if you give a great massage but the front office pisses off your customers you are not getting a tip.I do not recommend.

This place is the absolute worst. You couldn’t pay me to book another massage and it’s totally due to how it is corporately run and the lack of quality of service on the administrative end. It is so painfully apparent that all they want is your money and they could care less about the experience or customer service. With so many competitors and independent contractors now available, I will be taking our hard earned money elsewhere to support more deserving and appreciative individuals. My only reserve in this review is how it affects the actual therapists. As someone who has been in the industry for over a decade, I can tell you confidently that there is better out there for you. Don’t settle for this terrible company and location!For further review: my husband and I booked 2 90 minute massages with added aromatherapy (the aromatherapy was a joke and not even remotely close to deserving the extra fee). This was in may and our first ever experience with ME. We choose this because it was close to my parents who were watching our three small children so we could get massages for our anniversary. Not only were we 20 minutes early ( a huge feat known to those who have multiple littles), but we made sure that we were prepared with reservations, time, etc. Due to their covid restrictions we were instructed to wait in the car until we got a text Confirming entrance. After ten minutes I tried calling. No answer. TWENTY MINUTES later, 10 minutes after our scheduled appointment time and we got the text to come in. Staff was frazzled and high strung - making it an instant panic attack for the patron. We were rushed into our rooms and didn’t even receive the full 90 minute massage (actually only 80 if you read correctly meaning we got only about 60 minutes when all was said and done)! Because the massages themselves were good, we didn’t complain or say anything.A month later I decided to book again for my husband. We thought we could let them redeem themselves for the shorty service the month prior. Nope.I booked online for a 10:30 appointment - one of the only available. I even called to make sure they had all the correct information because the website itself was a little wacky. I entered my husbands name and it kept showing my own. The girl over the phone confirmed everything and was very pleasant so I thought we were in the clear.Until Father’s Day morning, while we are mid getting kids loaded into the van, my husband gets a call at 10:05 asking if he’s coming in for his 10 am massage! WHAT!When I tried to explain to the girl and check my login info - she was rude and everything was gone. Nothing showing on my previous appointments meaning someone must have erased it to cover their mistake. So now it’s my word against someone else. The staff still charged us - even though they couldn’t prove I scheduled incorrectly. And management refused to do anything to right that wrong !Our lesson was finally learned. But now I will make sure no one else makes the same mistake. Take your money elsewhere. VIVE massage , elements across the street, there are other more worthy options.

Great selection of therapists, one is bound to meet your needs (really think about your desired pressure - firm isnt right for everyone, lighter pressure can still be soothing). Appts fill up so book in advance or be flexible with timing for last minute bookings.Doing exceptional with covid - temp checks for guests & staff, full room disinfection between guests, pre-appt survey to check for cdc risk factors. They do request masks stay on during service.

They very strict about customers being on time for their appointment which I totally understand and it is how it suppose to be, but when it comes for them to be on time is different. It is the second time that I get there 5 to 10 minutes before my appointment but they will take me in 10 to 12 min after my appointment start time. They did not adjust the time so I get my 50 minutes hands on massage they just ended my massage like they started on time.Just be aware of it and look the time when you have your appointment.

The front desk staff are all super nice. I work a very physically and mentally demanding job, and my body has deteriorated a lot recently due to stress. I got a membership after years of putting it off, and haven’t looked back. I tried out several therapists, per ME’s recommendation. I did have a very negative experience with one therapist, but it was addressed quickly and appropriately. Other than that, everything has been wonderful. Silvia is the best therapist I’ve ever had! Don’t ever leave!

My massage was ok, not amazing but not bad. They have you fill out a survey beforehand asking for specific areas you would like to be focused on, I mentioned my feet, neck and shoulders in the survey and to my therapist but my feet were never touched (same exact thing happened to my boyfriend as well) however, the most bothersome part was that the therapist tried to talk to me throughout the entire 50 minute duration of my massage, much more than just checking in to see how the pressure is :( I just paid good money to relax and get rubbed down, I don’t want to chit chat! Kinda killed my whole mood. Disappointed overall and won’t return.

Im in town for a convention and had some time to kill so called them on a whim. They were able to get me in quick and were very nice to interact with. They had just opened at this location so everything was new, but the staff were well trained and knowledgeable. My massage therapist was TJ, who was very pleasant and did a great job. I would recommend this location to anyone and would return again if I lived close. Do allow extra time to find parking though!

I’m a Massage Envy member, meaning I get monthly massages. I normally go to the Massage Envy in Randhurst but realized Park Ridge was a little closer so I thought I try them. The girl who answered the phone and made my appointment was not pleasant and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her for making an appointment. However, I made the appointment for later that day (about 2 hours later). Unfortunately, I had to cancel the appointment due an emergency with our car and called to let them know. The same girl answered the phone and was very rude about having to cancel and informed me rudely there was a fee for cancellation. I understand that there needs to be a fee for late cancellations in general but considering I had just made the appointment two hours earlier there would have been no way for me to cancel the appointment 24 hours in advance so I do feel that I shouldnt be charged a fee. Regardless, it was really her whole attitude that put me off. I wont book again at this location ever again. I’ll keep going to Randhurst where the employees are polite and helpful.

Im a chronic migraine sufferer and Ive found that regular massages help keep my migraines away. Ive gone to Massage Envy several times, but Ive got to say TJ is the best! She understands migraine sufferers pain and knows great techniques to maximize the results in such a short period of time. Do yourself a favor and if its your first time or if you are a migraine sufferer like me, make an appointment with TJ.

TJ is amazing. Wish i could give her more stars. Because of her i signed up for a membership. Its about an hour after my massage and im feeling better than i have in weeks. She is so knowledgeable and listened, i explained where my pains were and thats what she focused on. Instead of doing what she wanted. Thank you so much!!
