I can’t say enough for his bedside manners, understanding, and professionalism. He listeners, advises and has compassion for his patients. I’ve been treating with him for a chronic illness for two years.

Staff is very dry and rude. Dr. Giday doesnt seem to know what he is speaking about. Knows nothing about the patient prior to coming in to speak with them and avoids answering questions. Do not recommend taking your family member here if you want patient focused, detailed, compassionate care.

The office and office phone system is complete mess. I had upper GI endoscopy performed about 2 weeks ago and set up follow-up appointment per doctors advise. With great difficulty I was able to setup tele appointment for today at 11:00 am with Dr. Gidays medical assistant. I had set up on-line link to the office as advised by the office. No one called me on my cell phone or e-mail. I called around 12:45 noon and the office was on lunch break and no person to help. I called again around 3:30 pm. It took me about 25 minutes to finally getting connected for help. The lady asked me to hold so that she could get my file. Instead I was automatically transferred to office phone with 5 persons ahead of me. It took another 20 minutes before I was transferred to Dr. Gidays nurse. By that time I was completely frustrated and decided to go to a different provider not in the same office. Their office phone system ........ Seems like the office staff does not care.I have no complaints or comments against Dr. Giday. He was very courteous and professional during my first and only visit prior to procedure. He was also professional and courteous in the hospital prior to and following the procedure.I will definitely find a different provider.

Unresponsive staff, insurance requested additional information to approve a CT scan and they never responded to the insurance company. Its been over a month. Difficult to get a hold of anyone and when I do I received incorrect information regarding approval compared to the information provided the insurance.

Dr Gidal performed a colonoscopy on me back in May as referred to me by my primary care physician. I had very good care with Dr Ruderman and so after he retired I felt comfortable that this would be a good experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case. To be brief, after only 2 days post-op, I started having issues with hemorrhoids and bleeding. He told me after the surgery that he removed two. I also had a very very small biopsy sample taken in my colon (

Dr. Samuel Giday is very thorough and personably. He takes the time to listen and guide me to good health. He coordinates with my other doctors. I am very pleased with him and his staff.

I developed terrible food sensitivities after GI endoscope done with him. Unfortunately he did nothing to help with the situation but to steer me away. Very disappointed.

Dr Giday is a very caring physician with a lovely bedside manner, however, his staff is AWFUL! I had a balance of about $1,000 on 3 separate bills from a colonoscopy procedure. I was sending in payments on all 3 bills every month (single mom on a budget). The billing office sent my accounts into collections, however they continued sending me bills! I had been paying for about 6 months and once month I sent in my payments, then 2 weeks later got a letter from collections. I called Fox collections and spoke with Kat explaining I just made payment to the drs office. She told me not to worry they would get it straightened out & it would not hit my credit because I Made a payment. I called Dr. Gidays office also and left several voicemails for lady a lady named Bebe who never called me back. The following month when I got another bill from their office I of course paid it again thinking they resolved the issue (because who sends paying accounts to collections right?). Two weeks later I get another notice from the collections office and now the accounts have hit my credit (surprise!) and dropped my score 80 POINTS! HERE IS THE KICKER! I called the billing office & asked for the manager. I speak with an EXTREMELY rude lady named Jo with no empathy whatsoever, I explained the situation to her and she said Its our bills we can do what we want with them. I fixed the error so that you wont receive anymore letters from our office. as if she just fixed my problem!!! These bills can sit on my credit for 7 years I really dont care. They have not stopped me from buying anything! I feel bad for Dr. Giday though because he is a good dr and deserves his money, however this office apparently doesnt care about their patients so I dont either....

Having stomach pain, was referred to Dr Giday. He seemed very caring and I was so happy to speak with him.The support staff doesnt share the same caring. A prescription was supposed to be called in. 3 voicemail, 1 conversation where I was promised a callback and almost 2 weeks later, NOTHING.I wound up in the ER on Christmas Eve my stomach pain was so bad. Given similar medication Dr Giday talked about.Have to think if his staff did as they said they would, I might not have needed ER care.Also, if youre a large person, you have 1 day a month that testing can be done as they will not do it at their facility, its at the hospital. So you are not afforded the same care and consideration as your smaller counterparts.So, 1 copay an expensive ER visit Im again searching for a doctor as I cannot wait until sometime in FEBRUARY to get the tests I need, if I even get that scheduling call.

Great doctor and great practice. One of the the few doctors to sit down and explain the procedures and findings with me and didn’t feel like he was trying to escape the first chance he got. Very professional and has a wonderful staff who put me at ease before giving me the anesthesia.

Dr. Giday is very compassionate and kind. He has excellent bedside manner, and he takes time to explain everything in great detail. He will answer all of your questions without rushing you. Hes also great with endoscopy procedures and very thorough. You wont regret seeing him.

Dr. Gidday was a great provider, he answered my questions appropriately, provided quality care, and had good bedside manner. However, the administrative components of the office were extremely arduous and somewhat stressful. As a student away at school, it became very difficult to navigate my care while at school and often times the staff were blunt and unhelpful on the phone; I would consistently have to wait 20 minutes on the phone to even speak to someone and the person I would speak with was not Dr. Giddays medical assistance because they were often unavailable. There needs to be a better coordination of care at that office and transparency about the treatment path for the patient.

He is very personable and caring and I didnt have any side effects after my endoscopic ultrasound he conducted. He showed me the images he took during the procedure and explained everything.

My primary care doctor advised me to get a Colonoscopy screening done. He referred me to Dr. Gidays office. I am so thankful that he did. Dr Giday and his entire staff were fantastic! During the procedure everyone worked like a fine tuned pit crew, each one knowing exactly what needed to be done. I cant thank them all enough! And Dr. Giday you were amazing! Thank you for making a normally uncomfortable time a piece of cake.

Dr.Giday is the BEST I can’t put into words how wonderful he is. He saved my life when other doctors turned their backs on me or pretended to know what they were doing. Dr.Giday never gave me false hope, he was always straightforward & honest. Without him I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be here today & I know if it weren’t for him & Dr.Matthew Albert who did my J-Pouch surgery I would’ve never gotten pregnant so I wouldn’t have my baby boy. I can’t say enough good things about Dr.Giday I’m just so thankful for him & his office staff especially Carol are amazing. The infusion nurses Ann & Sue are also awesome at what they do.

Thank you for helping me on my UC journey. If it were not for Dr. Giday and all the other doctors at the center of digestive health who took the time to take care of me I wouldn’t be here today. I’m extremely thankful. Due to your hard work dedication and knowledge I’m alive today. I was cared for 3 years ago and I’m feeling a lot better due to Dr. Giday and his staff. I highly recommend the entire staff especially Dr. Giday. Thank you for all that you do. You are an asset to Florida hospital.

Dr. Giday has always been very pleasant and personable. He has performed colonoscopies and endoscopies on myself and several of my family members. We have been very pleased with his expertise and our experiences in his office. We would highly recommend this doctor.

My primary doctor ordered a Colonguard test. The results came back Positive for Cancer or Pre-cancer cells. I was sent to Dr. Giday for follow-up. His office staff held my hand and walked me though step by step process to have the testing performed. I had recently been cleared from other surgery that was a year long battle. Now I thought I had cancer and was a basket case. The procedure was done last week at ORMC. I was cancer-free and 9 polyps were removed by Dr. Giday. He was fantastic. No pain or any discomfort whatsoever. He spoke to my family and I both before and after the procedure. He absolutely seemed genuinely concerned for my well being. I highly recommend Dr. Giday along with his nurses and scheduling staff who assisted me. Thank you very much.
