Kenny, the owner helped us personally to get our daughter’s supplies ordered. I told him that it was urgent we get the supplies and he started working on it immediately. When prior authorization was needed he reached out to our doctor directly to let them know what he needed in order to fulfill the order. It’s great to see the owner of a large business be so involved and helpful when it comes to the needs of clients.

Came here this morning for a rapid COVID test. It was very easy booking online and the administrator was fast and friendly. The rapid COVID test costs $75 and I received my test results within 1 hour. Very happy with the service provided here!

Order for medical supply never filled because Nucare waiting for unnecessary and unobtainable approval from my insurance company. It would not direct bill my insurance company even tho they were given all information and instructions to do so. Nearly two weeks later I have to get order filled by another supplier. Supply was needed asap... almost 2 weeks ago. Nucare never updated me or prescriber.Kenny, your reply is simply wrong, I checked with my insurance co. before posting and med. supplies are not like specialty pharmacy or a procedure - no prior approval is required, or possible. They instructed your rep to submit to them directly when they finally spoke last week (after all the faxes, emails, whatever). Even after the insurance co. gave your staff the procedure, they would not fill the order. I went to another supply company and had the order filled in 1 day.

So this is a rewrite of a review that I left for NuCare. I originally had a problem with emails being received in a prompt matter. I was unaware at the size of business that NuCre handles as well as dealing with my insurance company. After speaking to Kenny and him explaining to me the hurdles that they had to jump through for me I was totally impressed with the service that I received. Why go to the big box stores when you could go to the local guy and get much better service. Thank you Nucare for all your help and prompt attention its much appreciated and youve gained the customer.

Got a Covid test here and was told it might be covered by insurance. Turns out its a medical service and pharmacy benefits dont cover services. I wish they had told me this was going to be the case before I got the test or before I signed up. Would not recommend.

I had some issues but they were resolved by Kenny an awesome operations manager who showed his true colors by reaching out to me and helping me with a lot of information/resolutions.The insurance companies in this country are disgusting and inefficient and give everyone but themselves a massive headache when it comes to healthcare. Quick and painless antigen covid19 testing with 1hr turnaround time, easy reservation online. Unlike some other test sites, they only charge $75 and it could be covered by insurance (although generally rapid tests are not covered).

My mother is bed bound and I can’t even begin to tell how many times I’ve called to have them come repair the damaged hospital bed or the reclining wheelchair that no longer reclines. I have supplied them with the Rxs and the letters of medical necessity and yet nothing. They always tell me they have to call the warehouse and they will call me back. They have never called. MONTHS of waiting... MONTHS of trying to explain to my elderly father why Nucare isn’t doing their part. I am done.

I wouldnt give them any stars at all. The worst experience EVER from a pharmacy. The owner is rude and disrespectful. They do not conduct business well. They dont follow up. Their delivery service is the worst as well. If you give a bad review expect a call it might be at night. Owner likes to call people and say your threatening his livelihood and this is how he feeds his children.... All before asking how can he help. I was asked to remove my review and I am blocked from putting another review. So I had to go this route. The treatment I received was horrible and he has no care for his clients. Ive had the phone hung up on me... I have been lied to about the process of me getting what i needed. He put me through a lot since my review. I feel I was purposely screwed and now i take my business to another pharmacy after months and months. Delivery men stand up in the medical scooters to deliver your chair everytime even after I asked them nit to do that because you are not suppose to stand. They cant fix anything... PLEASE BE ADVISED NUCARE IS ABOUT MONEY... NOT THEIR CLIENTS WELL BEING. Im sure they will know who I am but I dont care because Kenneth or Kenny the owner... Knows how hes treated me. With that being said . take your business somewhere where you can be treated respect and kindness. And for the record his employees knows how he is. For a long time I could not get my scooter.Every time I had to call them and remind about myself.All the paper work that they were supposed to do was done for them by me.The staff at this pharmacy does not care about their customers.No one is really doing the work that they should do.In this place, I met with indifference and lie to me as a client.My recommendations - if you want to protect your nervous system, had better find another pharmacy.I think that only the employees of that pharmacy could write good reviews about this place.

Play this place is horrible with a bunch of disrespectful employees. They incorrectly delivered supplies for my daughter and when I called them to have them returned they want me to pay the cost of shipping them back. They are very inflexible and unwilling to make right on their own errors. I advise You not to use them. They are horrible.

The Customer Service is horrendous. Nucare used to have a wonderful direct care and pharmacy assistant staff. I called to get my childs asthma medication filled, which has been soooooo easy in the past. However, today I was put on hold 4 times and hung up on twice by women named Michelle and Grace. Things started to really get frustrating when I was interrogated and placed on hold for almost 16 minutes after asking for a manager. Customer Service is extremely lacking. Im mortified by the lack of compassion and care for a child who during the COVID 19 pandemic is one of the vulnerable population as my child has chronic asthma and needs his medication. Its not okay to get offended and be unprofessional when someone asks to speak to a manager. My family has been going to this pharmacy for 8 to 9 years, it looks as if we need to now find NEW CARE!

Nucare lies in their response to these reviews. The owner and staff are Liers. If they cant make alot of money off your insurance company they will not help you at all. Horrible people working there. Very nasty and self centered!!!! They need to be reviewed bu the NYS health department I already made a complaint against them and everyone that has a problem should too!! The owner helped me for 45 minutes put a rush order for a protective boot for my 90 year old mother who had a pressure sore on her heal. He also recommended additional support materials to prevent future pressure sores for my mother. I have never had such great service from a surgical supply store and I have over 30 years of experience as a doctor of medicine. Thank you I am very grateful to him.

My husband got a prescription for a scooter, which he needed,and got through his insurance and Medicare. First call spoke to someone who gave my husband step by step instructions, on his second call he got Kenny ( owner) who helped him greatly, with the insurance and what scooter he could actually get, My husband is almost there ,he calls at 745 pm to get Kenny, whose is actually on the rode going home, Kenny takes his call and they finish everything, Kenny who probably had so many things on his mind ( dinner driving) stayed with my husband and finished everything thats determination and what sets this awesome pharmacy apart from others...🙂

I am so glad my health insurance referred me to Nucare. They really do care! My sons diaper prescription problem was immediately resolved after several attempts with other pharmacies.. Great quality products!! And they have a delivery service to make things even more comfortable for their patients. They actually went out of their way to make sure his correct size was ordered. Surgical supply dept. will talk down to you! It happened to me 3 times by 3 different people there! Someone should explain this cost their company money! In my case a $2,500 electric wheel chair!! Waited a month for nothing! My mom really needed that!!!

Everyone in in nucare Phamacy in the Phar especially micheal the pharmacist Michelle the assistance andLaff he works with all the customers ordering the surgical supplies and the other pharmacist he’s absolutely awesome Micheal I’ve known for several years and he’s loving caring kind and talks to all his patients like they are family . Mike cares about us all he knows when we are going through personal problems and always puts a smile n our face because he cares about us all mike you rock . They all are all amazing. Patrick from the front is Amazingly awesome he’s is simply one of a kind he literally remembers all my numbers he a friend he cared about us all . I called into nucare to inquire about getting my mom some supplies needed and after a bit of a hold time I spoke to a rep named Jessenia. She was amazing ! She broke down what was covered under my mothers insurance , what was allowed and what was needed to get the approval. This was the second time I called in and am thankful I got her on the line because the first rep just old me just fax it over and wait 5-7 business days . I will now use Nucare even though I was skeptical do to other reviews but again if I can get Jessenia all the time I will continue my business here !

I called Nucare to get some assistance in getting my son some incontinence supplies since my local provider could no longer dispense. I spoke to a rep by the name of Jessenia who was AMAZING. Not only did she take her time explaining the products my son was covered for she reached out to the doctors office got them to fax over the required documents worked with Medicaid and even got me NEXT DAY DELIVERY!. She was truly an angel and I will continue to do business with them .

Initially was going to give Nucare 1 star review due to the lack of customer service but once I got the manager involved I was able to get my grandmothers supplies within two days . To day I had the worst experience with a person who claimed to be the owner, you would think he would act like an educated business man, yet he acted like an ignorated discriminatory fool. He did not treat me with respect he was sarcastic, raised his voice at me, really didnt not listen to what i was asking regarding dme,had my husband been there i know for a fact his demeanor would be different. I stated that i would talk to my Dr who referred me there and sarcastically places the phone in the counter say go ahead call him, i plan to speak with him in person and will complain to state agencies regarding his actions.Discriminated against because im Latin and have limited resources, as a man he thought he could talk down to me as a woman and embarrassing remarks. Legal counsel next! You picked the wrong person.

This place is so awesome although the walkway is really narrow for the wheelchair community the staff is extremely friendly and so helpful. You can get orthopedic shoes that if you need bilateral and inserts they have the shoes for you they take their time and sizing you up so your bilateral and your orthotics can fit in your shoe they help you and the store is although cramped its nice and they have everything you need.

I found this wonderful caring place after my grandmother fell very ill and became immobile. I was calling the insurance everyday 3x a day but after finding out the pharmacy (nu care)who would be providing the necessary devices to aid my grandmother I called them for assistance in speeding up authorizations after speaking to Jessenia (I love her!) she immediately took control getting me answers from the medical insurance, processing authorizations and most of all getting us the products & devices We needed to help my grandmother. My grandmother can now have comfortably, safe daily living & a speedy recovery! Our family has a piece of mind during this difficult time. Thank you NUCARE! This place is the best..:)

This is a very small neighborhood pharmacy that emphasizes its prescription Prescription Dept and servicing customers with special needs such as wheelchairs and shoes for special problems. They service the nearby public housing population, largely Spanish-speaking, and their wealthier customers with a very even hand and get to know their customers well. The assistants are verykind. They dont have room for a lot of stuff like the big ones, but theyll always order what you ask for if they dont have it in. They have sent someone to my home with a drug at the last minute, when I said I couldnt make it in. I depend on them!

They are horrendous. They are supposed to supply oxygen for my grandmother and theyve been asking for paperwork from her doctor, which was faxed to them to 3 different numbers. They are insisting they have not received it and are threatening to repossess their oxygen, without which my grandmother cannot breath.

I was traveling from California and I needed a portable charger for my my Cpap. I called every where to see if i can get a portable charger for my Cpap . i called Nucare Pharmacy and spoke with a very nice young lady her name was Judy. Unfortunately Nucare did not carry the device i needed but she went above and beyond for me. She was able to find a location that carry what i needed and she was able to give me the information i needed. It is very nice to know we still have people like Judy that will take the time to help someone.

If you make a big deal about something, they may step up, but otherwise you are on your own here. I wish I could get my supplies at Walgreens, like I get my meds cause this place sucks so much. Its good I have a backlog of supplies, still waiting for Novembers. Happy New Years everybody! Its December 27th today.UPDATE: Kenny took care of all my issues.I have to use this pharmacy for my ileostomy supplies because of my insurance. They dont stay on top of orders. I have to call almost everyday to see to it they get the order from several fax machines, then I have to continue to call to see to it they are doing something about it. It took almost two weeks to get my pouches, but they sent no adhesive so how am I supposed to use them. Its such a headache to have to deal with these guys, it feels like Im doing their job for them.
