I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Fay for 27 years. Dr. Fay is an incredibly kind and caring person and this comes through with her bedside manner. She is impeccably trained and has the newest technology (such as 3D digital X-rays and robotics for implant placement) to match her clinical excellence. I drove 200 miles to have Dr. Fay extract impacted wisdom teeth on my 15 year old daughter. For most teens this is a dreaded experience. My Daughter said Dr Fay and her entire team were fantastic. They were understanding of my needs and were so upfront about what absolutely needed to be done (and what was not a priority), working with my insurance, and never once made me feel bad for putting it off. The surgery itself was seamless. Minimal pain and swelling and healing is great. Recommend this office to everyone!

I recently was referred to Dr. Schiffman to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled & I literally couldn’t recommend him and his team anymore. Scheduling all of my appointments were super easy and they were very flexible. I was definitely pretty hesitant given that I’d only really heard horror stories about the process but Dr. Schiffman truly was able to answer all of my questions and address all of my concerns with ease. He is extremely knowledgeable and immediately gives off that impression which was something that was very important to me and was very reassuring.His expertise lead to an extremely smooth recovery (besides not being able to eat solid food as expected, I was in almost 0 discomfort literally the day after the surgery) and he was very easy to get in contact with (even outside of business hours) when I had any questions or concerns which was great given that my surgery was on a Friday so it was nice to have that ease of mind.His office was also super upfront in terms of communicating how much would be out of pocket vs what insurance would cover which was really really helpful.Would 1000% recommend going to Dr. Schiffman to anyone!

Dr. Schiffman is remarkable! He has a wonderful bedside manner and puts you at ease. He’s very thorough and gives all the information upfront. I had two wisdom teeth removed, and the entire surgery, start to finish was so smooth. His entire staff is also excellent and the office is well organized. Highly recommend him.

The staff a d Dr. Schiffman were amazing. I had a sever pain in my lower right wisdom tooth. I called the morning after it started. They gave me great info over the phone. I booked the appt for 12:30 and they did all the scans needed. By 3:30 Dr. Schiffman was operating ( I had to be put fully under anesthesia) and by 4:30 I had a double extraction done. No more pain. All same day. Reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Shiffman is really great at what he does - had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled out and there was ZERO pain after the operation, at all! Under a week I was able to return to normal eating because they healed so well. Considering the scale of the operation, the experience was excellent (a sore in my mouth hurt more than this, lol). The staff was also really helpful in getting me an estimate before the operation and helping with flexible scheduling. Highly recommend this practice!

Needed to remove a broken infected tooth.Searched google for a good oral surgeon.Tribeca oral & maxillofacial surgery was a godsend.1st-Amazing front desk staff. All questions answered with a smile and contacting them was easy2nd-prompt schedule for consultation where the dr went over all possibilities of treatment including the lowest prices not the just the big $ treatments3rd-Day of surgery. 10 mins after arrival , in the chair with the doc ready to go. This is where you get your bang for your buck.Dr. Michael Schiffman is amazing!! Folks I am the biggest baby in the world but the dr made this so simple. Dr Schiffman communicated at all times with me. Any pain?You will hear a sound ,its the norm. He just made everything so comforting I forgot I was supposed to be terrified of the dentist.His assistant Molly was awsome as well. Helping make the Dr.s job easier as she knew exactly what needed to be done and executed flawlessly.I was really enrvous about this visit but Dr Michael Schiffman and Molly really made this the best visit to a surgeon ever.To summarzie:Excellent front desk service for setting fast appointmentsExcellent care from all staff involved with my visit. Amazing doctor and very capable assistants make you feel at ease with any procedureand by the way did I mention they have absolutely great prices. I had both sets of wisdom teeth removed here recently. The procedure, on a Wednesday, went without a hitch (1 1/2 hours) and I was up and running by Monday. Dr. Schiffman was very helpful and explained the procedure, risks, and recovery and made himself available even after business hours and regularly followed up after the procedure. It wasnt fun, but if you need to have your wisdom teeth taken out, this office is a good place do have it done.

In May 2017 I had a wisdom tooth out. Lizzy at the front desk was the most amazing and helpful person EVER!!!!! I had such insurance issues and continued to have issues for the next 6+ months and she was more than willing to help me throughout the entire time. Dr. Fay was AMAZING and the nicest and most comforting doctor I have ever had. I am terrified of surgery and she made me feel safe and had my laughing at each appointment. The office is very clean and I highly recommend that everyone go to Tribeca Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in NYC!

Dr. King is one of the best Doctors I have ever visited. He is well mannered, pleasant, and most important incredibly knowledgeable. If its possible to say I had a great experience at the oral surgeon, Im saying it, and it was all because of Dr. King and his awesome staff!

Completely seamless and pleasant experience having 3 wisdom teeth removed here. They were patient, knowledgeable and even moved my appointment at the last minute for me after I made a scheduling mistake. Would definitely revisit if I need more work done.

I had an amazing experience! Office is really clean, everyone I spoke to on the phone was pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Doctor Schiffman was amazing. He’s very knowledge, patient and has a calm reassuring manner. He answered all my questions and handled my nervous crazy worries seamlessly and with good humor. I got two wisdom teeth removed, I had minimal pain and zero complications post procedure. I even called to ask a question and as my doctor wasn’t there Doctor Fay took my call and looked at my records and talked me through my insurance issue, which was a pleasant surprise and extremely nice of her. I would recommend Dr Schiffman without hesitation to anyone look for an oral or maxillofacial surgeon, I couldn’t be happier with his work!

I had the best wisdom teeth surgery experience here with Dr. Schiffman and his team! Throughout my initial consultation, the surgery day itself, and my checkups after, Dr. Schiffman has answered all questions, given me space to ask anything I was concerned about, and has always started appointments on time.My favorite thing was that Dr. Schiffman personally called me a few hours after the surgery to check on my clotting, to give me an opportunity to ask any new questions, etc. I’m glad he did because I had misunderstood something about the antibiotics, so he was able to clear that up for me!Actually, my favorite favorite thing was that — even though I got all four wisdom teeth removed (all at least partially impacted!), I actually had hardly any swelling the next couple days (like people couldn’t tell), and minimal pain. I’ve just used ibuprofen, no need for anything stronger. Given Dr. Schiffman’s attention to detail, my guess is that he’s also just super meticulous in his surgery and was able to minimize impact. I’d recommend to anyone!

Beware. Dr. Fay seriously injured me. She left half of my mouth numb after wisdom teeth removal. Others I know who saw her also suffered serious complications. I was forced to undergo painful $50,000 corrective nerve surgery and may still have permanent damage. Avoid Dr. Fay at all costs

First of all, I cant believe Im reviewing a dentist, but here we go. Just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed with iv sedation and wow I cant believe that Im in next to no pain. over the 1st 12 hours after the surgery my face slowly regained feeling, I took 1 600mg Ibuprofen around 2pm to try to get ahead of any pain, but its now 10:30pm and still no pain.I highly recommended anyone to Dr. Fay, espically if you have any fear or anxiety of wisdom tooth removal.
